It really depends. There is a numerous amount of clothing items for players to pick from. People are not meant to wear the exact same stuff all the time, that is why there is so many choices for people. Now when it comes to skilling, I think having the chance in wearing what you want, to describe your personality is great. Now when it comes to stuff like monster hunting and other items, I believe it is important to wear the correct equipment. Now if you want to go to the KBD with a rubber chicken, be my guest... :D

Sounds like any other interview that Jagex talks in. I was interested when they hope that Mechscape will be for those that have "graduated" from Runescape, because I am definitely starting to fit into that category now especially since I am in the minority when it comes to their demographics. So they have my interested currently.

It could be some kind of system where you can edit the money you currently have as opposed to your goal in the same way as stat signatures can change Quest Points (At least this seems like the most logical idea). That's what I would see it as well. I think it would be a cool little thing, but it isn't something that would be widespread use like that of QP and Total. If there was a way to make it so you could have it when you wanted and not there when you don't want it, that would be the most ideal way in having it set up. Personally, I wouldn't use it.

I'm usually one for unison among board styles, but this isn't really a priority, so it is up to the discrete of the admins if they would want to move such a button to either the top or bottom.

I admit, I am a huge Cubs fan. It was painful to watch yet another sweep happen in the post season, two years in a row. Think about it, 9 postseason losses in a row. That's just horrible. I think the pressure finally got to Dempster and the rest of the team. This team was told they were 'the team' but look at where they are now. They are hitting the golf courses yet again during October. Now I don't know how much of a fan I am if I wasn't to believe in the curses. Billy goat, black cat, Bartman (what's with all the letter B's?) you name it. This year, they just played horrible in their last three games. The Dodgers deserved to have won that division series. Now I am still looking out to that day when the Cubs do win it all. Chicago will be THE place to be for a party. I know that whatever I am doing, I will drop it and head on over to Chi-Town. That will be the party of the century. :D

I am a big sports fan, and I wouldn't mind seeing a sports forum. The only thing is, the big events such as playoffs and olympics and super bowl don't happen every week. If you could make the case that a good amount of people would use it, with a wide selection of topics, then I think that would help you out. Here let me help out a bit with topics: Game of the week Top plays Football Soccer Rugby Baseball Basketball Olympics Weights (how much do you lift?) Winter Sports Summer Sports Hockey Intramural Sports Tell us your best sport story! ETC. And some of those topics are REALLY general. I think there would be a good amount of topics, my only worry is how many are going to use that forum? That, my friend, I do not have the answer for. I don't know how many people you would need for such a forum, but I think it could still be worthy of a forum or subforum.

TET have already been in the works for an old school PK style event once the worlds come out. Keep your eyes open, you may never know when it will be here... 8-)

Interesting nonetheless with the pvp worlds being released this month. I am quite intrigued to see the rewards and what not for that. I do think it is a shame to have the updates cut back though. It is basically a hit or miss with the big update. You like it or you don't like it. It is that simple. If you like it, it could be a good month for you. If you don't like it, it is going to be a bad month for you. Most of the time when there were more updates, it would be mediocre months. So who knows if this strategy will pay off in the end. (I personally am not a fan of the mobilizing mini game one. Just not my cup of tea.)

Clan Chat killed W99 Edgeville. As previously said, you can take socializing with you wherever you go. It used to be that you take time out of whatever you were doing to socialize with your fellow Tip.iters. Now you can do it in clan chats. That is why I am rarely in a clan chat, because I really hate what it has done to the community in the sense of what things used to be. Call me nostaligic, call me stupid, call me a god-send, I don't care. I'll play how I want to, and that would be not using it. I do say HYT sometimes in reply whenever someone sends me one, but somehow that gradually fell out of the norm because of the excess amount of use it had. It lost its power in the those three words, or maybe the community has been slowly falling apart. Who knows, but something made it to what it is now...

10/10 if I am correct on the theme. 6/10 for simplicity.

No this is not a topic of the quality of the GD, but rather on the topic of the number of stickies/announcements. This is the current lay out we have as of 7:08 EDT Sept. 1st 2008 Current: I count 11 stickies and 1 announcement, and if you want to, 2 global announcements as well. That is way too many. I've always been taught, "The less stickies, the better." My suggestion is to please reduce what is there. Here is my unformal proposal: With just my suggestion, it greatly reduces the amount of stickies by half! But you don't even have to use just my proposal, you could even cut it by even more. My suggestion is to please look over it and think about it. It just burdens to see so many stickies for one forum.

Eh, nothing too exciting. I do hope the Varrock one is worth the time put into it.

I'd like to throw in my two cents as well, and say that having them on the top of the forum when you are looking at it is all that is needed. Having them on the index is unnecassary in my eyes.

I think people just have taken this topic way too seriously. Have a little fun in life, you only get one.

This is very sweet. I've always wanted to experience the time and era where a pvp only world existed. Being able to kill someone almost anywhere just adds to how much I would love to be a part of it. I might actually have to go visit it one of these days. And this quest just gets me excited. I loved Recipe for Disaster, so if they put even more into this next one, then I just can't wait. :thumbup: Two thumbs up! :thumbup:
