  1. Hey there Jake, it's been a long run, hasn't it? We didn't really get to know each other, but from all my times with the OoC, I would see you outside Draynor bank cooking away on a single fire. It was such a relief to see you every time I passed by with a load of cabbages. But all great things have to go at one time in life or not. It's not going to be the same with you cooking away, but those times will forever be in my memories, so you will always have a place there. I'm glad you had a fun time, now the one thing I say to every user to leave, "Don't be a stranger now, ya hear?" :P
  2. Yeah, you have to connotate the word "rarest" to get an answer people can agree to. Are we talking about difficulty in obtaining an item, how often one item is seen by a member of the community, or possibly the number in existence. Now when we talk about number in existence, does that mean quest items are included at that time? A lot of questions to be answered before an answer could be given that people may accept. To answer my categorical questions: Difficulty in obtaining an item: Untrimmed Slayer/Summoning etc. How often an item is seen: No way to distinguish this with such a great population size. Number in existence: Possibly Half Wine compared to Christmas Cracker. That's how I view things in this debate.
  3. I looked for help on Google and found Tip.it. I used tip.it for about 6 months before I chose to set up an account on Tip.it Forums. That's when things got weird which landed me to a place where I am today. Oh the memories of cabbage I have smelled during the past years...and when I mean cabbage, I mean literally OoC cabbge. Plus TET events were a major plus for me. ;)
  4. I am putting a rare post here *I don't post in BlogScape anymore* so good luck on your goals mate, see you around!
  5. Sounds like me, doesn't look I changed much except I now use apostrophes in my typing now.
  6. I always love to help others out, I do find it as the best reward. I find my joy in helping people out with whatever they are doing. Before the trade changes, I would host random drop parties for people, I gave a full rune set *my only one* just for the heck of it, and a bunch of other things. No, I never did it for the recognition, but rather it felt like the right thing to do. I'd rather spend my time helping others out rather than doing my own thing. With the changes, I find I play less and less because the opportunity to help others by giving items out, is non existent anymore. What can you do... And just to point out, I don't like the idea of Karma, when you specifically try and do something good hoping for good in return. Come on, it's just not worth it.
  7. With the trade limitations, it already felt like it turned into a Single Player game, to myself that is. I personally am the one that would host drop parties, raise levels and collect stuff just so I could trade my friends. I basically played for my friends, but with the trade limitations, I can't do that anymore. It basically took out the reason why I do play, the only reason why I would play now is for personal benefits of passing the time, rather than working to achieve something great to help out my friends. So in other words, yeah I could play single player, I feel like I already do that now. But now if you remove chat/friends, then yes, I am gone. :P
  8. Here's a quote for ya: "Forget regret, or life is yours to miss..."
  9. There were a group called the Off-Topic Event Team, but was disbanded if I remember due to lack of activity from the board users. We are staying with just TET right now.
  10. I believe it is only at 10 and 50 tasks where there is a bonus.
  11. I really enjoyed the Kiara_Kat interview. I would love to read more interviews by this writer and by more people. :
  12. A new hat!? I like it! *Yeah I know I am slow to this kind of stuff so lay off. :P *
  13. I would like to die by doing something really stupid that killed me, that way so I can go up to Heaven, people asking me how I died and I respond by saying, "Yeah I pushed the red button..."
  14. where are the tortoises i kill for tortoise shells? I believe there is a pen of them in the north part of Tree Gnome Village where you can kill them. Don't hold me to that though. :P
  15. Also could get tortoises shells and proboscis, they are bound to be used for SOMETHING soon.
  16. Hey, not bad, I like the number figures you put up with. Now if someone could be oh so nice and try to figure out an energy pot section for this, I would be intrigued further. Oh I did notice that if I got this right, that that is not the highest cape? That means you could lower your weight again? Also what is your agility level just to ask because that also defines a little bit of how fast your energy restores. Great job!
  17. Woot Happy Birthday!!! 7 years, oh boy, I wonder what that is in Jagex years.... :-k :P
  18. Woo, that's my Celt and the skill level I wanted! Congratulations!!!! x99 just for ya!
  19. It's simple really, Runescape is changing. When you just started, you did not know "the fastest" or "the best" ways of gaining exp. Once you found out new ways of playing, you would go with that new method, because it was better. Imagine it with this analogy, our technology changes every day. We use that new technology. There are going to be those that complain and want to do it the old way, because that is how they grew up on it. It's just a fact of life. This applies to Runescape as well. New methods, new weapons, new playing style, etc. There are going to complain to want it the old way, that could be with bots still around, trading, pking, dueling, etc. It is changing, get over it. It's a new game and new age. I personally wouldn't want to use DOS compared to my Vista even though I enjoyed playing my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on my DOS.
  20. You are sneaky, I don't even know how but I was looking at something in General Discussion and somehow I had a new tab and it was to this page. You my friend are desperate if you are forcing me to look at this page against my free will. Best of luck!
  21. Well so far I like the new year, let's hope it continues on. Hope you all have a great one!
  22. I don't carry weapons, I know others to have and it is dangerous here, but I can deal with people on my own. To top that off, I don't care if I get shot, I just don't care if I die or not.
  23. I edited your post so the tags were fixed. Best of luck with the drop parties.
  24. *gasp* I thought ranger boots were lvl 2! :shame: Haha, good show, I like it!
