I'm using the same rune scimmy I got a month after starting Runescape. Yes, that's right, I've gone my entire RS career without EVER losing it.

You can only be near the center of the air alter. You can't go into what you see in the pic, because of cliffs on all sides. And so it'd be impossible to tell one way or the other from the air alter.

I wonder... If you go to the duel arena, and turn mage and range off, and movement off then use d spear special then switch to hally... Are you gaurunteed a victory?

I think "fart" is a stupid word to censor.

An easy way to figure out its protect value would be to go to Falador or Lumby (depending on where you set your spawn point) with a fire cape and some valuable (by store price items). Eat nightshades until you die, or drop potions from the Digsite quest until you die. You respawn right next to your stuff, and get the cape if it was dropped. Repeat until you have the range super close. I've heard that its protect value is equal to a 24K store value.

A while ago I faced that same decision. My decision: buy full rune (g). It looks cooler than all the god armors, and is cheaper.

Well personally, I spend maybe 2 hours daily on the game. I am easily maintaining a 4.0+ GPA. My stats aren't the best, but they're not bad for only 6 months, and Runescape hasn't taken over my life, and its fun. And that's all that matters. :P

Mine was the only time I ever tried merchanting. I tried merchanting coal, because its not too hard to merchant. I found a guy selling 5K coal for 150 each, and I thought "cool, that's an easy 200K." He "made a mistake" and clicked decline. When we redid the trade, I found out afterwards that he replaced all the coal with iron. :twisted:

So you think the chance of not getting a d chain each kill is equal to that of getting one? Because that's what 50% chance means. It means that most likely, you'd get one every two kills. :P I don't think the odds are like that.

Sorry, but my education says that you're wrong. Although you are right that the odds of the 101st flip being 1/2, the odds of getting tails 101 times in a row is (1/2)^101, or roughly 1 in 2535000000000000000000000000000. Same with dusties. As somebody already said, if the odds are 1/50,000, after killing 50000 of them, the odds of NOT getting one is (1-[1/50000])^50000, or (49999/50000)^50000. Either way, after 50K kills (assuming the drop rate is 1/50000), the odds of NOT getting a chain are 36.79%, making the odds OF getting one is 63.21%. But the figure I've heard most often is a 1/16000 chance. If those are the odds, then after 50K kills the odds of NOT getting one are (1-[1/16000])^50000, or (15999/16000)^50000, which equals 4.39%, or a 95.61% chance of getting one.

How many of you wear your cape while training, and how many just leave it in the bank as a trophy? Are the stat bonuses worth the risk of lagging and losing it, or does it stay in the bank almost eternally?

Hit the Print Screen button on your keyboard. It's just above the delete key on a standard keyboard. Then go to Paint or something similar and paste. Then save and upload.

I know that with only 360M, having a 15 extra 1gp items is super important. I mean, why not that many?

Then you haven't been playing much daily. I've been playing since September 2005, and I'm level 84 and a multimillionare. I know not quite amazing stats, but good for 6 months. I think its mainly for organization and ease. If you take an item out, there's still another in the bank spot, so you always know where your stuff is.

I was also surprised at no fire cape. But it's probably being worn. Playing 10-12 hours daily with all the needed supplies banked, and awesome stats, it really shouldn't take too long to get.

I've never tried it, but I think you turn on mage pray, and get the 90 stuck behind the 360. Stay out of melee range of the 360 while you range the 90 till it dies, then kill the 360 with ranged. But, you will lose health to the 90, so it'll be hard without Guthans.

I use scimmy. Personally, I'd rather hit 15, 15, 15 than 20, 20, but that's just me.
