  1. 1. You've got a basic choice between Merchanting (buy low sell high) and using your own Skills (like Mining Ores, Smmithing the Bars, High-Alching the produce). Go with what works for yu, try out different things. 2. Which kind do you mean? There's the Blue Wizard Robes, Black Wizard Robes and Blue Wizard (g) Robes.. 3. The better the Pickaxe you use, the faster you mine basically. 4. Here's the guide for that quest; http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=43 5. Umm.. the place you store Iron Ore when it's not in your inventory is your Bank. And by the 'market' players mean you sell Iron Ore at 100gp each to other players. 6. Just enjoy the game and don't concentrate on money too much :
  2. Well probably because the person would prefer to use up Air Runes and use a Fire Staff than to use up Fire Runes (harder to get) and use an Air Staff. And by 'enourmous amounts' do you mean above say 15k? -.-
  3. Slightly off-topic, but what was with all the talk of this topic getting locked because the name Darkforest was used.. If you read the rules on Tip.it. you'll see that there is nothing wrong with mentioning someone's name, or showing a print screen from Runescape with people's names in. The only time when it's against the rules is when the person mentioned has broken a rule in Runescape and has not yet been punished for it! Even when someone has broken a rule, once they've been punished you can freely mention their name on tip.it. E.g the amount of times I see Duke Freedom's name in random posts or sigs. Sorry for going off but I really hate it when people assume rules.. Uhh.. congratulations to the Hunter guy *balloons confetti* etc etc
  4. After a long debate, Jagex do accept people using (SS), and don't ban people for using it to their advantage. I don't use it myself because I still think Jagex will one day change their ruling and kill everyone that's ever looked at SS, and to be honest I don't really need it, I'm fine with the current set-up. Tip.it don't like you talking about it, but the last time I checked a mod said it was okay to discuss it since Jagex accepted it.
  5. Depends on your own personal training preference. If you like powerful weapons that hit high but slow, then choose a Battleaxe/2H. If you want a weapon that hits lower but much more often, choose a Scimitar. I wouldn't suggest using a Dagger ever (unless you're P2p) because it doesn't hit faster than a Scimitar.
  6. Your Runecrafting level doesn't matter, as you're not the one Crafting the Runes. You only run them for the crafters, just like in World 16's Air Crafters. And... it's on World 66 because that's the official Law Crafting World.
  7. Opposite of Nick above. Magic's my favourite because I really love 'icecubes', then Runecrafting because.. I love to see how many Airs I can make in one hour!
  8. Total level 1071 with 100 combat and still going F2p.. However I'm thinking of going P2p sometime after December.. Might see some of you around in World 99 soon :
  9. You took the words out of my mouth  I'm always looking forward into new trail items, especially because their prices are up high. I just hope some of those 100 new items are F2p like the recent (g) items we got. Maybe they'll finally release Black Wizard (g) and (t) Robes! :D
  10. Wow..... Snow on Karmanja! I wonder if they will actually make it snow or just put some piles of snow on the ground.. :

Umm.. Yews would never be better for anything other than to make money. Stick to the Willows next to the small lake in Lummbridge because thre's only ever 1-2 people there, and you wont need a Bank if you're going to be burning the logs. :
  12. :? Firstly I meant give F2p Castle Wars as a joke, it's too big of a reason for people to go P2p to just hand it over, I was talking about one of the games no one ever uses. And if Castle Wars did go F2p you know they can just make another version of it somewhere in the F2p World..
  13. Ouch, tight funds.. I guess you could go to the Magic Shop in Port Sarim and buy out 50k worth of Death Runes for an average of 218gp in each world, then sell them on Tip.it for 290 - 300 each.
  14. I'm not gonna hunt you down, don't worry  That.. Oreo, is not a reasuring smile..
  15. I always did wonder why Jagex kept mini-games exclusively to P2p, as it currently is if you've always been F2p then you've never even had a taste for what a mini-game is like, some can be.. amazing (Caslte Wars again). Hard to think which, out of all the ones menitoned above - would be the bets thing to shift onto F2p.. Maybe it was a prophecy then.. :P
  16. Marco replied to Kiriyama's topic in Help and Advice
Uhh..? Did you examine a torn piece of a map in a random house somewhere?
  17. You know what would be amazing... Castle Wars F2p!! :D Even one of the lowly populated mini-games going F2p would make it an instant success with bored F2p'ers :-w And Malhavok, didn't you used to be a tip.it mod?
  18. Yeah, any amulet will take you over the magical negative bonus to always fail. This number you need to keep in mind is -65 Magic Attack Bonus.
  19. Welcome to the set of items which - out of every item in the game - have been declining in price the most slowly since they first settled in price... Rune! It should have declined much faster in price, each week there are more Smiths getting to a level where they can make Rune armour and more P2p'ers getting Rune items in Treasure Trails and drops. However, Rune is the most sought after item for F2p'ers, and the most commonly worn material in the game. The supply for it is always constant, there's never a time when people don't want Rune armour, hell in World 1 Rune items have the biggest section of space dedicated to selling them in the whole of Varrock!
  20. Hmm.. to be honest Runescape just isn't a big enough game to justify the costs of advertising on National television. Compared to the sheer weight of players and the money World of Warcraft makes, Runescape is nothing, advertising on T.v is not the way to go for a game like Runescape, increasing the advertising on the internet is the best option for Runescape to grow at the moment. But just like everyone else is saying; No one currently playing Runescape wants a sudden rush of new players to come in and fill the game up.
  21. I was pretty sure that you can't get randoms in any of the F2p Banks at least and all General Stores, but if people are saying otherwise then.. who knows.. :-w
  22. Get your Defense up to at least 30 before you try, personally I think your Combat Level is a bit too low to do it well. Oh, and Lobsters are much better than Cakes. Well done with your Prayer level :
  23. Could you elaborate possibly? If it's a crude recognised swear word then yes it is against the rules.
  24. Ooooh, been a while since I did anything here (anyone have any other information to add?) Last time I checked this it was in the AoW section and not in the Player-Made Guides section, so if was something wrong with the guide that it had to be moved here could someone please say? :-s [pokemama 13 dec: all player made guides were located in the AOW for a while, but it was decided that the AOW should contain only the most exclusive guides and the PMG forum would contain the others.]
  25. I'd kill to be the original Um Bongo (without the zero for an 'o') : But I really can't imagine them implementing this..
