  1. I'm pretty sure the Ring of Wealth only affects the amount of a certain item you get, not the rarity of an item. For example if the monster you're killing drops between 6 - 20 Nature Runes then the Ring of Wealth will make it more likely that it'll drop 20 Nature Runes, but not more Nature Rune drops individually if you get what I mean...

Takes about 15 minutes of just being around them for the Ice Warriors to get bored of you.
  3. Eh..... What decent fishing spot is there that's in Lummbridge? The only one I can think of is the new Net fishing spot next to the Tutor.. :-s
  4. Area Sounds: 90% - As much as I love them it can sometimes get annoying to hear someone casting a deafaning Fire Blast right next to you for 5 minutes.. Emote Screen: 85% - Good but maybe slightly too large icons. Orange Text on stats page: 65% - Just harder to read, no benifts. New Equipment Page: 95% - The only downside is not being able to see your weight straight away. Run Button: 30% - Icons are way too small, however I use Ctrl so makes no difference to me : Lumbridge Bank: 90% - Huge benifits as I'm F2p, but I wish I had it there when I started playing.. Compass 70% - Nothing special.. Rune Boots: Uh.. F2p so no idea what comparison to make with Climbing Boots, just no they had a large strength bonus.. Free Lumbridge teleport: 100% - Never seen such a cool looking teleport (apart from the Teleport topic in this board) as F2p :
  5. Lummbrige having a Bank means... Cowhides, Wool, possibly Coal, Mithril and Addy Ores should all drop at least slightly in price because they're all easier to get. Pking will change, if you die now you can run up to the top floor of Lummbridge Castle, grab your Skull Sceptre thing for Barbarian Village, Teleport, find the person that killed you if they're still in the Wilderness or coming back from it and get your things back!
  6. All the guides are in the Lummbridge area (except for the Master Smithing who's in Varrock). Range Tutor, Magic and Combat Tutors are all next to Lummbridge General Store.
  7. Umm.. Your question's been answered I'm sure. Just read up, it's not even important what the yellow number means anyway..
  8. Wizard (g) Robes of course! (minus Air Staff replaced with Fire Staff)
  9. Marco replied to Kill_Life's topic in Help and Advice
Yes, -.- yes it is F2p of course, it's from these new Tutors, to get one 'Claim' from the Ranger Tutor in Lummbridge.
  10. I can't get the picture here right now but I'll give you the link to the topic on it I made in F2p's section; http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=545 ... highlight= By all means feel free to use the pictures :
  11. Editing as I go along; Character interface Combat interface; Emote interface; Settings interface; The other interfaces remain almost completely the same as before, so I'll probably not get their pictures. Trying out the new 'Home Teleport' spell is amazing, the best looking spell I've ever casted : The Tutors (currently putting in better pictures from the KB) Combat Tutor & free Training Sowrd and Shield: Harlan Magic & Runecrafting Tutor: Mikasi 30 Air & Mind Runes deposited in Bank. Range Tutor: Nemarti: Free Training Bow and Arrows (25) Mining Tutor: Monlum: Monlum: Free Bronze Pickaxe. Two new Mining spots, 1: Copper & Tin 2: 7 Coal, 5 Mithril & 2 Addy! Maybe not..? Smithing Master: Sani Smithing Apprentice: Foeras Cooking Tutor: Codero Crafting Tutor: Cadmus Fishing Tutor:Finlay (Fishing spot for Net fishing, free net) Woodcutting Tutor: Wilfred Free Bronze Axe & Tinderbox. Prayer Tutor: Yauchomi Bank Tutor Bank on the top floor of Lummbridge Castle; Signposts (camera spins out) Newcomer map : Fishing Changes Ahh, after all this time Jagex changed the graphics on (at least) Cage and Harpoon fishing so now your Cage/Harpoon actually goes into the water! Cage Fishing, now your Cage fades away as it goes into the water. Harpoon Fishing now sees your cape fly back as you aggressively Harpoon the water. *currently writting more and getting pictures*
  12. There's a Bank on the top floor of Lummbridge Castle! This will have an immense impact on the way F2p is played! Yay! Wool and Cowhide will be easy to get now! :
  13. BlackSimon if this is going to be the official thread for todays update I suggest you edit in the other 2 pieces of main news. No point in other people making smaller topics for the other ones :
  14. Heh, this water sound is actually quite nice. : Now for the wind... *gazes longingly at the mountains...*
  15. Marco replied to steel2k's topic in Help and Advice
Hmm.. well there isn't an item (that I know of) which requires 73 Attack. Sorry, but the only reason I can think of for them suggesting that is for you to hit opponents more often.. :-s Not exactly a great revalation! Why don't you just ask them yourself?
  16. Marco replied to RedRave's topic in Help and Advice
Okay, you're F2p. As others have said, Fly Fishing in Barbarian Village is by far the fastest method. If you want to get even faster at it and don't care about keeping the Fish or even Cooking them then Fish in World 1 or any other very busy World and announce that you're giving free raw/cooked fish. This means you wont have to walk to the bank or even drop the Fish, like Power Mining :
  17. Congratulations on the guide Lord Grommit : Personally I've never trained properly at any Ice Giant spot because of my refusal to wear boring Full Rune armour like 90% of players above level 80, so I get hit about a bit too much in just Wizard (g) Robes Also I've always been content with training at Crandor's Moss Giants because if there's no one else there then it gives better Xp than Ice Giants (Moss have a much lower Defense level.) The only suggestion to make this guide perfect is to add a section on the Ice Giants in the Wilderness like others have suggested, even if it's dangerous players should still be informed about all the possible options. :
  18. I think you're missing the point in this whole runner business.. There's nothing stopping you offering all the Air Runes you make to runners instead of any cash, whenever there's few people in the World 16 altar I just offer 150 Air Runes+Essence because people will settle for that. Even when the Altar is packed out at around 7pm BST there's still plenty of players turning down offers of 2k and asking for Air Runes instead. : Mind running just wouldn't work at all, way too far away from a Bank and the Xp difference from Air Runes in no way justifies it, Fire Running maybe, but never Mind. If you want to recover your costs from being a World 16 Air Crafter I made a guide on it a while back; So, You want to be a World 16 Air Crafter?
  19. I've never felt like a 'noob' in the game because I always know that as soon as someone calls me one, or someone near me I'm above them in every single way : Acting like an idiot only impresses other idiots. I had great respect for my account however when I got 70 Smithing. :-w
  20. Smithing! For the first 20 levels I used such a bad method to Smith so it took soooo long, but now that I'm level 70 I find it hard to hate, love High Alching my produce : Ranging's rubbish..
  21. I figuered mine out to within a week by going through the old Runescape main page news until I recognized the first one I saw when I started. This wont really help if you're the kind of player that never pays attention to the information on the main page..
  22. With the increasing price of Nature Runes recently I suggest just running Nature Runes it.. Whatever World they do it and selling for (unfourtunatly) around 330 each..
  23. Yes you can still become a P-Mod. Having an offence against your account only means that it's much less likely that they'd trust you with it, and so you need to keep playing well and have a clean record from now on (and possibly improve your grammer) : if you want to have a chance.
  24. If you're F2p and want to raise Crafting then just ignore the whole Gems side of the game except when you need one or two Enchanted Amulets yourself. As Dr. Elephant prescribed; '..there are some quicker ways to do that.' If your Crafting is above 40 then Mine Silver in the Crafting Guild and make Tiaras which are by far the best Crafting Xp for non-members. :
  25. It happens sometimes, just that your account was one of the One in Eight which can't get on at the moment, usually Jagex post this in the news on the mainpage but I assume they don't expect this one to last long. Go do something else for a while, see a friend, play football, there's nothing you can do but wait :
