  1. Next time try posting in the General Help & Advice Board if you have a question. Anyway, as you may or may not know, tip.it has everything, so search around the Quest guide sometime  Here's the quest you're asking about; http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=28
  2. Yes, there have been better articles in the past but I don't mind a few going astray sometimes when there's little else to discuss. By the by, I think it's been stated that there's more than one editor..
  3. Ack, the grey Zombie Boots don't go with the blue Robe.. Either my eyes have exploded, or your charecter has white hair and not blonde like you said :-w What gloves are those? I'm F2p =s
  4. I always believe Skills come before money every time. If you get hacked again you'd lose the 200k if you sold the Iron Ore, while if you got your Smithing up you'd lose nothing from it : And I love Smithing anyway, so yeah, become dependant on your Skills for your money. Welcome to the Mining Guild by the by =p

Sorry, but it's a difficult few questions.. 1. I don't know how much it costs. 2. Wow, long time since I've needed to know, last time I saw Green Dragonhide was 30k or something.. probably wrong now. 3. (G) Armour/Robes trimmed in Gold. (T) Trimmed in black or blue. 4. Yes, there is Full (g) Green Dragonhide (and it's F2p) 5. Check the forums for prices.
  6. F2p: Prince Ali Rescue. By far beats Dragon Slayer, spent days on rescuing that stuid Prince! *shakes fist* P2p: No idea, heard RFD is one of the hardest. Imp Catcher was okay for me, luckily over the course of two weeks found all the beads in the General Store everytime I passed it.
  7. Heh, someone that knows their stuff : I think South Varrock's 'ghetto' could be, well more dodgy looking, for instance stained buildings, some more shady charecters, maybe give the South area a lick of ugly grey dingy paint and generally darken it, however working with Java limits this a bit And yes, Falador was scary when was redone, such a shock to see so much white, blinded me slightly!
  8. Tip.it Combat Guide They're all in there.
  9. Avatars were all down for me, signitures were still okay and all other icons displayed, using Sub-Red though. And now all images are being displayed :
  10. Mine's always been Mining all my own Ores, Smelting and Smithing the Bars and then High Alching the items, there are much faster ways to get cash but I use this because it trains 3 skills intensely and lets you rely on yourself as a source of money. :
  11. Um Bong0 - 97 Combat, 61 Ranged =s (going to 100 Combat) Well Jagex wouldn't let me attempt to go for the Fire Cape, apparently it's a "Members" thing and they said something about paying but I wasn't really listening..
  12. Those Bears are scary! Especially the Grizzley Bear in above Varrock Sewer (in that single entrance building that I've never been able to find above ground in over a year of playing..) !
  13. Marco replied to henkiex's topic in Help and Advice
Yeah! You should find it very easy with all those items. I did it at level 45 with about 15 Trout and a Mithril Chainbody and Steel Kite! :
  14. I love the Thieving animation : Only wish I could reach at least Level 2 Thieving one day.. :-w All we need now is someone with 99 Agility!
  15. Marco replied to superjes's topic in Help and Advice
Er... elaborate your question otherwise no one can understand it. Specify which of the new Capes you're looking for.
  16. Those spaces are saved for when people let him record them using their Capes, simply because Swordfish doesn't have all of them obviously =p
  17. Uhh.. Do you want to just use my pictures? They're already uploaded and of the Black Bear (there's at least 2 kinds of Bear now) and of a Giant Rat.
  18. Black Bear (south of Varrock) Giant Rat (Varrock Sewers) Where are Bats?
  19. Lots of complaints already, glad to see it, shows a.. healthy playing population :-w Okay, now with the 'shock' of seeing that Jagex really weren't joking when they said the Capes were meant to be shown off, and not to give some huge super killing bonus people have been getting a bit.. annoyed on the official boards. When they were released I couldn't personally think of any way to make 100 Smithing/Fletching/Mining/Fishing/Cooking/Woodcutting (and some more) Capes worth the hassle. Then it hit me *ouch* (sorry..). Here's what those Capes could do once 'opereated' to bring you up to Level 100; Mining: Create a new Ore which can only be Mined at level 100. Smithing: Allow the player to Smelt and Smith the new Ore at Level 100 and create a single item from it (no idea what it could be, maybe a Scimitar or another weapon or something defense, or just go for a show-off item) Woodcutting: Create a new one off tree only to be cut at Level 100. Fletching: Allows you to create arrows from this one off new tree. Fishing: Same as above, new Fish at Level 100. Cooking: Allows you to Cook this new Fish, the bonus would be that it heals a huge amount of damage.
  20. True, but then again Jagex never said the Capes would give a huge bonus, they made it clear that it was to show the Achievement of getting 99 in a Skill and showing it off. A small bonus and a very cool looking emote is a great update : On a side note; The Bugs people have been reporting so far (18th Oct) Fletching Cape is in the Ranging Guild! Meaning if you have a pure skiller you wont be able to buy it. Fletching Emote does not 'opeterate' for some players. Quest Cape is either unequipable for some players or it unequips itself if you change Worlds giving the message that you haven't completed all the Quests.. Already the most popular theory to why the Wise Old Man asks for 99k again everytime players World hop is that he plans to take over the World.
  21. Yep, I can already feel the in-rush of air as millions of players read the news and open their mouths to complain! I'm personally surprised by it being Members only, everyone knows to get 99 in a skill F2p work twice as hard, but I'm not really bothered, all my excitement's stored for the Halloween update :
  22. Almost (they'll all be up soon) all the Skill Cape animations are here; SwordFish666's Guide To Skill Cape Animations! [WARNING 56K] By the by, they have the date wrong for the release unless they suddenly moved to the states..
  23. Heh, kind of derailed yourself a bit there  The people with Skiller accounts that I know of are all completly bored with their main accounts and create a new account just for comedy benifits, for example getting 40 Defense and wearing Full Rune at level 17. I personally think it's a huge waste of time (even the majority of pures), but that's just me :
  24. Damn! Wish I was told that when I was level 50! Was so sad to part with that hard earned 10k from Smithing :( Ah well, 46 combat levels later it doesn't really matter anymore..
  25. Ummm.. please think about how many complaints Jagex would get if they brought in updates which lasted a few hours from people who couldn't make it. That's why Jagex release holiday updates two weeks before and after the actual holiday. Also there's no need to make Jagex work harder on weekends just to get release updates at a time which little kids wont cry about..
