  1. Apparently when it first came out there was a bug (or maybe made like that on purpose) where F2p could buy the Armour. Don't know on the current situation of it. If you're friends with a member who has the armour ask if they can trade it : From a thread in the P2p section by JAmesjeffery;
  2. The World 16 Air Crafting Company isn't anywhere near as formal as the World 66 Law Crafters who must wear Teak coloured Robes to be part of the team. However in World 16 there's no official dress and there's no need to sign up to be part of the Crafting team either. Hmm.. the amount you offer to pay depends on the amount of other Crafters there, if you go when World 16 isn nearly full at around 7pm BST then there's going to be a huge amount of Crafters, but very few would go over 2k. If you can only Craft when there's a lots of other Crafters, ge3t an edge over them by offering 2.1k/2.2k. Offering 2.5k per trade is a bit of a waste.. If there's very few people in the Altar I often just offer 1k or 1.5k per trade, supply and demand. I've never measured the amount of Xp before entering the Altar and again once I'm done so I can't be too sure. If you take 1k Essence (which equals 5k Runecrafting Xp[1 Air Rune is 5xp]) in and just see how long it takes to get used up and you'll have an answer :-w Or look from other people's Xp;
  3. Personally I'd say no, but there are others that'd disagree (joke..) I think it's better to work Mining directly with Smithing and indiretly with Magic (High-Alchemy and Superheating Ores). I've never liked the idea of working immensly hard to get to mine Runite and left with very poor Smithing. Mentally you wont think it's as much work compared to seperating the two. :
  4. Well it doesn't sound like there's anything wrong with Runescape on your computer itself, just something wrong with the computer.
  5. If it's just the current window that's closing then it's probably a problem with your mouse or the devices for your mouse connection. I'm not much help but if you made a topic in the 'Tech and Computers' Board then you might be able to get a better answer. :
  6. There is no point to it, just for looks like most items in the game.
  7. It'll just keep dropping, never rise, just like almost every single other Runescape item which isn't a Rare (an item which is no longer being made/put into the Worlds). For example Full Wizard (g) used to be about 800k when it first came out, now around 600k. When I got my Zamorak Kiteshield it was 700k, now it's 450k!
  8. Why would someone report a question in the Help and Advice Boards? :-s Anyway, Smithing, as far as I'm aware is a skill exclusive to either Smelting something or using a Hammer (Smithing) a Bar, there's no other ways (apart from Quests) to gain Smithing Xp... Unless that's not even what you wanted to know? Your question's a bit ambigious..
  9. As F2p I was fine with no updates last week, Jagex never said that they'd release a weekly update, only promising to produce at least a monthly one. I'd much rather have a little less lag, shorted loading times or a sound and graphics update than even a new F2p quest! All these 'under-the-hood' updates benifit everyone much more in the long term than say a new Dragon item. : For example - as I've just found out when I wanted to smelt some Gold Ores- the Furnaces around the game have been changed graphically and now you can hear the heat of the Furnace as you use it.
  10. Then can't the Mods just fully remove them from public boards and put it into the Mods section instead of leaving the topic locked at all? You know, like when there's a topic which serverly breaks the rules and gets removed completly, why not do that for all..
  11. Well if your account is locked (different from Banned) then you can click on the 'Unlock an account' Link on the main page. You'll be asked questions like previous 3 passwords, Recovery Questions (hope you set some..) and in additional information you might want to tell them your Ip address, Bank pin etc.. things that only you should know. However seeing that the account was only 3 months old it might be more worthwhile to just make a new account :
  12. Hmm.. Yes there are better F2p Runes you could get, however World 16's Air Runes are the only 'Official' F2p Rune to run for. Occasionally you might see one high leveled player offering to Craft other Runes (usually Mind Runes) in the same method, but it'd take ages to find one. :
  13. Heh, the second picture they've put up with the sky in : The top of Lummbridge Castle looks abit hazy though.. :-s To see the pictures by the way, just right click (Firefox) and click 'Show Image'.
  14. Fastest way is of course power mining Iron Ore in the... Al-Kahrid. Stand in the spot with 3 Iron Ores, mine 3, drop 3, or get runners to take a full load off you so you don't need to drop. Fast, but a bit of a shallow method as you get nothing but Mining Xp out of it.. -.-
  15. Heh, they took a whole 2 days, but I've finally been cleared from this false offense. Clean record again yay! :
  16. Where it says 'Succesful' in the Appeal Status in mine it should say either 'Appealable' or 'Un-appealable' for you.
  17. Go to the main page and scroll down to 'Appeal against an Offence/Ban' link. You'll see what it is your account has been banned for and whether or not they'll let you Appeal it. Buena Fortuna :
  18. Ah the stupidity of Jagex never ends : I sent in an Appeal with pretty much what I said in the first post, how it was just impossible that any Offence could have taken place and that I know no one had used my account. So they decieded to lock it because they think someone else used my account.. Common sense ftw! This might show that it is an automated system of Appeals because it might have picked up on the words '..No one else has used my account..' and decieded to check on it -.- I couldn't answer 1 of my recovery questions because the question I made is just too ambigious for me right now and has many answers (made the original question months back) so they didn't automaticaly unlock it :-s Anyone been in a similar situation? Thanks : *shoots Jagex*
  19. Here's where it tells you about the colours of the flags in the Knowledge Base; http://kbase.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/ ... le_id=2613 "A green flag means that you have a perfect, unblemished record and play the game within the rules. Well done, you are exactly the sort of player that we like! A yellow flag means that you have broken one or more of the rules. We don't want you to be unduly concerned, but you should try to avoid making any similar mistakes. An orange flag means that you have seriously broken one or more of the rules. If this is becoming something of a habit you should rethink the way you play RuneScape. A red flag means that you are very close to being permanently banned from playing RuneScape using this character. You should make sure you improve your behaviour immediately - failure to do this will result in your account being permanently banned."
  20. Hmm.. but if it turns out that they just got a name mixed up somewhere and I say someone else was on my account it'll get locked -.- Anyone know how long an account stays locked for..? :
  21. Heh, I got a message saying I broke Rule 1 today too (seriously didn't do it, haven't been on today until just now; http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=541298) -.- Anyway, you can tell how close your account is to being Banned by the colour of the Flag the Knight is holding up.
  22. Hey.. Well the idiots at Jagex seemed to have been on the loose, apparently I've broken Rule 1 - Offensive Language. -.- The Offence was said to be commited today (18th Sep) however I've only just got on an hour ago and have not played at all on the 18th apart from right now. I'm 99% sure that it couldn't have been anyone else on my account, my player is in the same place I left it last night (Karmanja) with all the items and equipment in the same place, nothing has changed, the Offence also looks as though it was in a Bank. Anywho, it's a minor Offence (Yellow Flag) but I just don't want it on my account as I know I didn't commit it. I have a choice of Appeal routes; 1. Claim that Jagex have made a mistake which is the most probable reason, maybe the got my name mixed up or... I don't know. 2. Claim that someone else had been on my account (even though I'm sure no one has) but this will mean my account will be locked. I only have one Appeal against it, so if they really believe that it was my account which commited the Offence and I claimed that no one had been on my account it's too late for it to be taken off. What I'm asking is how long the account will be locked for, or even if it will ever be unlocked.. And which Appeal is more benificial or even whether it is worth appealing for in the first place.. :-s Thanks. :
  23. Just like normal aggresive monsters they should get bored of smacking you about in 15 minutes I think. Maybe if you killed a few they'd let off..
  24. Why don't you just go to World 78 (official Pest Conrtol world) or try another World with better players?
  25. Kinda cheap just showing my own thread, but it's just that no one else has made one on this, might help you if you have enough money; So, you want to be a World 16 Air Crafter? But if you just want to Runecraft yourself and not spend any money (except on Rune Essence) then Body Runes are by far the best now that Oziach's fence was removed ages ago. :
