I don't think that falls under scamming. Scamming is more to do with prices items are sold/bought for. I would say in 99% of cases, the person selling the willow bows would do so no matter what the buyer was planning on doing with them. Now, if you were to tell someone that instead of paying 15gp per bow* you wanted to pay 10gp per bow because fletching is about to be opened up to F2P so the market is going to be flooded and prices will drop... that would be a scam. *I don't know what the prices are, so don't jump on me telling me they're wrong.

While I somewhat agree with you, Jagex had a good reason for making the polls members only. If left open for everyone to participate, especially with polls that actually effect the game, some people would create multiple accounts just to vote for their choices multiple times. I thought of it for a second, but they can block IP's from voting more than once. I think Jagex has much more cash to invest into that than Tip.It, yet for our polls, it works perfectly. Then again, I don't think you have to log in to vote on Tip.it. Why do you need to log in for the official polls :?: What about situations where more than one player shares a computer? Is it fair that I would get to vote and my boyfriend wouldn't simply because I saw the new poll first? This is where I'm stuck too. Sorry for the double-post  It'd probably be fair to say that only account that are at least so old can vote. Why should a P2P who is a month old be able to vote, when a F2P player who is three years old can't? And it would prevent people from making new accounts in order to vote. In fact, here's a better idea. What if only account that were a certain length of time old, and have been active in the last, say, week, be able to vote? So that people cannot make spare accounts, and just use them when a poll comes out later. Good idea!

Chickybee32's Goals & Ambitions

Why is it that when ever you visit lumby, there's low lvl hebs all over the place, but when you actually need one, there's none to be found? -
Chickybee32's Goals & Ambitions

Ah, a simple good luck is fine. It's enough to know that people are at least interested enough to say that much. As for fun... well, most of it's been a bit of a headache so far! And I'll be honest - I set short term goals because they're easier to achieve and I am, in pretty much every aspect of my life - Lazy! So after 2k gold braces, some ruby & sapphire braces, 300 pot lids & 40 cowls, FINALLY hit 61 crafting. So tomorrow the plan is to do Lunar Diplomacy and either RC or WC like crazy. I was lucky enough to get 2 genie lamps tonight, which both went on RC xp.. so that, plus the 5k xp from the quest means that I'll be even closer to my 54 RC goal. Well... it's nearly midnight here (I'm in Australia) and I'm sure I'll be woken up at an obscenely early hour by my 14 month old son jumping up and down in his cot and yelling "MUM MUM MUM" so, I must say G'nite. -

thanks :D -
Seems a bit egomaniacal to assume that anyone wants to read this. Oh well, at least I have a place I can keep notes and remind myself of what I want. [hide=Current Goals] Current Goals 99 Woodcutting (lvl 94) 100 Combat (lvl 95) [/hide] [hide=Achieved Goals] Achieved Goals 61 Crafting - ACHIEVED!! 54 Runecrafting - ACHIEVED! 59 Agility - ACHIEVED!! 58 Thieving - ACHIEVED!!! 248 Quest Points -ACHIEVED!! [/hide] So yes, I am pretty much aiming for the Questcape. I'm not a fan of crafting, or agility and RCing is one of the longest skills to lvl up IMHO. I've just finished making gold bracelets from the 2k of gold bars I had left over from lvling up to do Devious minds. I'm about to start mining wet clay, cause I'm not heading into the wildy to kill green dragons. And I'm bored. I've been making braces for about 90 minutes now and my head is starting to hurt. I took a break to play tennis on the Wii, but all I did there was hurt my ankle after tripping over one of my sons toys. You know what was a royal pain in the rear? Being 500 xp off 56 agility and being all gleeful cause I'd never have to do it again if I didn't want to... and then the new quest got released. Oh well... better concentrate I guess.

Now who's acting all high and mighty? :shame:

Is misspelling of words a crime in RuneScape?

Thank god I'm Australian and that Jagex is a British company. American laws will not apply to my account. First up - I'm getting the impression they're talking about the pretty gold pixels. Not real world trading. So that's what my post is about? Now seriously... how do they expect to enforce this? US based accounts only? How will they decide where an account is based? From the IP? From what you put as your country of origin? Will it be where the company is based? So if I'm playing a game which company is based in America, I can be taxed no matter where I live? I'm also curious about how they expect people to pay for this, especially considering the majority of RS players are teenagers and probably wouldn't have a regular income. (I know, generalization, no need to get mad). Then of course, how would they be able to check someone's worth? Log into their account? Ask Jagex to do it? Would Jagex, as a UK based company be obliged to share names and details of player accounts? I know it's all very stream of conciousness, but I'm only half awake atm.

What I hate about being PK'd ... other than dying ...

Just got PK'd doing a clue... disappointing, but y'know.. risk vs rewards. What's really bugging me? Having to run around and get the sextant, etc etc again! -
Is Jagex doing SOMETHING about the autoing problem? 600+
ChickyBee32 replied to WookieeMania12's topic in General Discussion
You are right it seems, so if theres this level 3 skiller from China, not talking because he doesn't understand much english, he gets banned because of Jagex's stance, seriously if some fat [bleep] can win a suit against a fast food company for making him fat, then how can Jagex hope to win if someone takes that statement the wrong way? But you know what? That's not Jagex's problem. If a player understands enough english to create an account and play the game, they should be able to appeal. As for a case? Oh please. This is easily one of the most ignorant statements I have ever heard. It is not racism to say that a certain ethnic group are doing something when you have evidence to back up that statement. Also, can you point me in the direction of the case where the fast food company actually lost the case? I can't find anything. -

If a lot of people do it, then how is stating it racist? Edited to add: I think you're missing the point. Jagex are not banning the accounts because they are based in Asian countries. They are banning the accounts, which happen to be based in Asian countries because they are breaking the rules. -
I could not agree more. When my son was born, I told my mother she simply could not drink around him, otherwise I would stop her from seeing him. She can go for several days without a drink when we're visiting. She starts to go through withdrawals, but she can do it.

Ignore this guy. He's one of the few lucky ones who has a parent that was willing to acknowledge the addiction and actually do something about it. My mother is an alcoholic and the rest of my family is in denial about it. Getting professional help didn't 'solve' anything, but it helped me come to terms with a lot of things. It can't hurt.

Hrmm... that got me thinking. Perhaps not skillcapes like the P2P ones, but something else for their achievement? And before anyone asks, I have no idea what. Skillboots? I like the idea of Skillboots. Skillboots would be cool

I don't believe in Heaven or Hell, and I can honestly say without hesitation. Just once, for my own vindictive reasons. Then I'd burn it.

I've been told that McDonalds was frequently asked to lower their coffee temperature because it was at a dangerous temperature, and that the woman recieved very serious burns. Two very different situations. well when you get 'hot coffee' you should be execpting it to be 'hot' and was relating this to the fact you should expect to not get power if you dont pay your bill thats like sueing for happy meals not making you happy Now, the people who tried to sue McDonalds for getting fat..... Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but do you actually expect to get burns requiring skin grafts from any hot drink? Because the fact that you've completely ignored the point behind my comment by replying with an irrelevant comment. I reccomend looking here It explains things in terms you don't need a degree in fancy speak to understand and may give you a clue on why the woman actually won the case.

I've meet Eric Bana and made a complete fool of myself. I also met 30 Seconds to Mars last month when they played my hometown. *dies from jealousy*

The McDonalds Coffee was at a dangerous temperature and they had been told to lower it repeatedly. Now, the people who tried to sue McDonalds for getting fat.....

While the company definately takes some blame, I lay most of it with the family. Because electricity is a necessity in todays world, it takes a fair bit for it to be disconnected. At one stage I hadn't paid a bill in nearly 6 months, owed over 2k and kept promising to pay, but didn't. But then again, I wasn't dealing with that particular company. From a personal point of view, I would have done EVERYTHING possible to make sure that a) there was power to the oxygen machine and B) if losing power was unavoidable, I would have had numerous back up plans ready. Unfortunately, I can also see it from a business point of view. You can't accept every sob story as fact. I worked for my state branch of car licensing and registration and omg, some of the stories I heard there were worthy of being on Days of Our Lives. (of course, on the other hand, I've feed some pretty impressive sob stories to companies as well... ) I'd like to know how much was owed and what steps the company had taken prior to recovering the money. From personal experience, I can say in australia at least, it takes a LOT to actually get a utility disconnected. that reminds me, I need to contact the water company before they send men around to break my kneecaps

You're the one that said it was a 'power.'

False. I can't stomach cheesecake... but the rest of it sounds good. The person below me likes Vegemite.
