Zammy book: costs the most, has the best bonuses Saradomin book: it's use of being the highest magic defense was replaced by the mind shield. costs quite a bit compared to guthix, but is fairly useless Guthix book: by far the cheapest book to complete. and a halfway decent alternative. Go for the Zamorak book if you have the money to fill it.

You can buy Waterskins from Shantay for a couple of coins each. You can buy a Shantay's Pass from Shantay as well. When you enter the desert you can walk due east for about 5 feet and you will see a carpet merchant. The base cost for the trip is 200gp. See the Getting Around Guide for information on carpets.

My friend told me I had to check the game out, but you had to start as a miner (so you could get a pickaxe of course). So I started as a miner and he showed me past the Dark Wizard Circle south of Varrock and told me to avoid it. He pointed me to the mine and the nearby bank. I logged off 15 minutes later. I then smithed my own bronze armor using the furnace in Falador and the anvils in Varrock. My real adventure began when I made my full set of bronze armor.
