It may be a 1.8m difference, but people are willing to pay that difference. People want the best and will pay for it. You can also see this trend with the 4.8m difference in the price for a fury. People want it, they will pay for it. Plus, the price difference may make up for an extra 3-7k xp per hour, which may not seem like much, but when you train mindlessly for 10 hours...that's some xp you are missing out on because you chose the scimmy over the whip.

No you cannot. Log onto an F2P world and put your whip on controlled and you will be kicking things. You don't get the bonuses of the weapon. Don't bother.

That is not true! The Charter ships do NOT go to Moss le 'Harmless (sp). If you take a charter ship to Port Phasmathys, you can take the pirate boat to the islands from that dock. It's a free ride, but you have to have the little book o'piracy with you, which you get from the captain. pfft, close enough
