Cool, 600k Runecrafting XP Using Runners for free*
*By free, I mean that I didn't spend cash. It still took me time. Posted an ad in the Events Forum "Cosmic Crafting Company World 60", made a detailed write-up of my intentions (Quick find code: 42-43-27-23826158). I even made a form posting that I could copy and paste anytime in the Runes Forum. There were even a few crafters interested. I hired runners at 7k a run plus Essence. Some took 40 cosmics and essence. Some just wanted me to double craft their own essence. Either way, over a week I got about 120 names on my friends list that were runners. So last week I was 68 Runecrafting, now I'm 75 runecrafting. I crafted about 75k pure essence to do it. Now the free part: Sold all my cosmics for about 200 each. It only cost me 180 each cosmic to make (With 50 cosmics per run, 140 gp went to the runner, 40 gp to the essence per cosmic). Ok, so actually I made a 3 million gp profit but that's better than the 6 million gp I would have lost using runners on the law world. I was tempted to do this till 91 RC. However, seeing that it'll take 600k more essence, I think I'll just hold off. There's a reason only 400 people have 91+ rc - It's mind numbingly dull even with runners. Anyway, if you can get 10-15 runners active at any one time, you'll be getting 40k to 60k xp every hour (and 10k cosmics made every hour).

Anyone know the layout of the 99 constructors? I missed the house parties so couldn't tell.

Why doesn't anyone train on giant rock crabs?
Again, just go deeper into the caves. There's a 5 crab spot in 2 locations. They're easy to kill there, great with mage. I tried once to get all 5 into on spot, then use ice barrage on them. Kinda hard, but not impossible. Great for firebolt with gauntlets.

"Official" Worlds for Whatever
I don't think I'll list Clan Worlds or other sites "official" worlds. It's nice that Jagex has a hands off policy though. Players are more creative when not restricted by the norm.

Ouch, that's embarrasing. Missed that article entirely. Thanks for the heads up. I'll edit my first post.

"Official" Worlds for Whatever
**Edit: Ok, thanks for pointing me to the article http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?times=42 so gotta alter purpose of this thread slightly** Tip.Its did an article on so called official worlds for whatever aspect of Runescape. So why not present a complete list on the front page of a thread? World 1 - F2P Merchanting World World 2 - P2P Merchanting World World 2 - Duel Arena World World 2 - Temple Crafting World World 6 - P2P Merchanting World Alternate World 7 - F2P Tip.It World World 16 - F2P Air Crafting World World 18 - Pking World World 59 - Suggested Temple Crafting World World 60 - Blast Furnace World World 60 - Cosmic Crafting World World 66 - Law Crafting World (Ess Returned) World 77 - Pest Control World Alternate World 78 - Pest Control World World 91 - Runecrafting Level 91 World World 98 - Pyramid Plunder World World 99 - P2P Tip.It World World 99 - Law Crafting World (No Ess Returned) World 100 - Suggested Pest Control World World 104 - Trouble Brewin World This is from what I've heard. Ever thought what thoughts went into what made this. I know this is not all the "official" worlds. Note - World 60 I happen to do cosmic crafting and hire runners, so take that with a grain of salt. Ditto with the Blast Furnace. Opinions on these so-called official worlds? Thoughts on what should be included? Nope, not gonna list "clan" worlds. http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?times=42

Further in is the multi-combat rock crabs, they're easy to kill as you have range spots. Once it starts to retreat, you run to other side of it and it'll back into a wall. If you're really good, you can get 5 in one spot and ice blitz them. Not very effective mind you. Mage is great on them.

A quote that speaks the truth
Let's put it in perspective: A Jagex Mod (gold crown) goes on a slaying rampage. Is he a legend being that he can kill at a whim, should the code be altered to allow it? No, just an exploiter, that's it. People will only get angry if in the path, and either elated or angry if you hear about it. Taking advantage of a bug (much like those that got temp mod status on the forums that one time a couple months back) does not make you a legend, it just makes you a bug exploiter. Yep, right up there with getting the 30 life code on Contra on the NES. Oh, you're elite now. The player will not be remembered, no more than those that killed players inside the abyss. It will just be the bug itself players will bring up later. Who remembers the player that did the dupe bug? Not many, just a few. The bug will be remembered, not those that exploited it.

Wow! SIX MONTHS of Kingdom Results. 12.3 Mill gp spent
Ok, if you ONLY do "Throne of Misc." quest, the max you can put in per day is 50k and your max workers is 10. If you do "Royal Trouble" then your max is now 75k per day and 15 workers. To get 75k, just have in 750k or more in the coffers. The game takes out 10% or 75k max, whichever is less. I had in 5 mill so I've not had to go back for awhile to refresh the coffers. Still, in the 2 mill I've spent, I've made 4 mill in sales so 2 million profit (had I gotten the teaks out on Construction opening day, I coulda made 9 million from teak logs alone, oh well).

Not so sure about that. Your garden should be close to your altar, portal and skill hall. Once you start using your house for training and traveling, you'll appreciate this.

Warning: constructing rune cases doesn't give great rc xp!
It was reasonable to nerf the xp for smithing. As many would advance construction with oak planks anyway, it was slower but better xp all around. Even at 25 xp for smithing, I may consider it. For the RC, well, I don't see the need to nerf this. The cost to make the cast (2 molten glass, 2 teak planks, 4 element runes) is much higher than getting the xp at the Law World. However, this way people would raise xp in RC without putting runes into the economy. It would keep the market for mass teaks into play. Of course, once nerfed, xp is rarely returned to its former state. We can only rant about it.

Behind you - If you put workers on idle, they still get paid their money. Think of it as government welfare, or crop subsities. Transcript - cut teaks, they raise your approval fairly fast. I think approval raising is based in small part on the cost of the item you gather (as far as kingdom is concerned). Yes, I've no problem Tip-It using the data to include on Manage Thy Kingdom. So far, the guide there is lacking. Knowing the system can net you 10k flax and 3.6k maples every 8 days. Now, 1.36 million gp gained for the 600k gp you spent is not much. However, that's 760k profit for little effort. Not to mention a number of herb seeds and tree seeds that add to the profit.

Kitchen is best for the oak larder (8 planks). Using the construction table is nice though. No need to go into build mode.

I'm letting my approval drop for 10 days as well, just to help confirm it. Don't bother. Ok, I did my test, yes your approval affects how much money you invest is saved day to day. So if you leave at 100%, go away for 30 days, and your approval drops to 70% at that time, you'll get material as if you were 85% all 30 days. Here are my results: Day 1 80%, Day 2 100%, estimated take 90% Gathered 495 coal, 2264 flax. 495/546 = 90.66% 2264/2500 = 90.56% Pretty darn close, eh? The daily code I guess looks like this: IF (10% coffers) < 75k THEN Amount = (10% coffers) ELSE Amount=75k Coffers = Coffers - Amount Work = Work + (Amount * approval%) IF approval >25 THEN approval = approval - 1 ELSE approval = 25

Approval dropped to 79% today. Raised it to 100% using 25 teak choppings. Tomorrow I find out how approval affects over time.

I finally got around to building my layout and decking out the house. I'm using the Tropical Wood look and it's not too bad. I still need to raise to level 70 - 75 for the rest of the items. If anyone wants to see it, the gate is at Relleka.

Here's what I decided to do once I get 70 construction The two bedrooms for the occasional time I hire a butler. The two portal rooms are for the 6 major locations. The altar is located really close to the entrance. I decided against a two story design as you lose a room in addition there's quite a few bugs associated with two floors at the moment. Until we get ability to bank our high gp furniture (gilded altar most importantly), I'm not going make anything above maple. I'm opting for a Taverly location, with stone design. Hopefully, we'll soon have ability to "pretty up" the rooms themselves. Comments?

Nice and simple one there. I should start thinking about my level 70 house.

No need to add cash everyday. The benefit of MTK is you can pay and forget it for awhile. I did a quick test today: Had 100% approval with 90% teak, 60% maple. I switched to coal and flax, and lowered my approval to 80%. I got: 1250 flax, 243 coal. That's as if I was 100% approval with 75k paid. So you can switch your items at the last minute if you find out you want one item over what you had selected. Now to test out how approval carries over. That'll take 3 days. If it goes well, those that go on 2 week vacations can rest assured their kingdom will make them a profit in their absence.

Rotating in paint you do by right clicking on your copied area and select "rotate". I may return my house back to one-story tall. Seems to be some bugs with the two-story variety.

Well, got to sell the maples for 125 each. Now to sell those teak logs. Too bad I didn't take them out 2 days ago, eh? Anyway, this opens up unique application of MTK. I'm gonna test out a couple of days. Here's my set-up Day 1 - kill a subject to get 80% approval. Day 2 - keep it at 80% (raise to 100%, kill a subject). Day 3 - raise to 100% Day 4 - Withdraw. Now, that's 225k I would spend (3 days times 75k). I know how many coal and maples I should be getting if at 100%. If it's that much this day, then it's only the amount of money you pay subjects that's saved. If so, you could put in 7.5 million, leave it for 30 days (don't even need to show up daily to raise approval). Come back, raise approval to 100% and wait for 1 more day (I think 10am GMT is the "gather" time for MTK).

Comparison between chapel and ectofunctus
The question still needs to be answered: How effective is it to use another person's altar? Hmm, Yanille is a good location. Run to bank, get 2 marren, bones, run back, type in name, go and pray (light incense first).

Maples sell for 100 each, but I got them mainly for the tree nests. Now to open up the nests, wonder what the spread will be?

Wow! SIX MONTHS of Kingdom Results. 12.3 Mill gp spent
Here's the rough price per item the Kingdom charges you. Coal - 91.6 each Flax - 40 each Tuna/Swords - 56.8, 189.4 each (10 to 3 ratio) Maple - 56.1 each Teak - 166.1 each Mohagany - 224.6 each Teak/Mohagany combo - 191.3 each (1 to 1 ratio) Unid Herbs - 826.4 each Now, every day you can invest 75k gp maximum. So for 10 days, I spent 750k gp. That 750k is now divided based on what I put the workers on. As I had 90% teak and 60% maple, that meant a spent 450k on teak and 300k on maples. The results are predictable, I should get near 5,347 maples and 2,709 teaks. Bonus is 1 nest per 100 maples and 1 nest per 350 rare wood. So 60 nests.

Wow! SIX MONTHS of Kingdom Results. 12.3 Mill gp spent
I've been doing Manage Thy Kingdom since it came out with the new update 6 months ago (just prior to Construction). I made this post 6 months ago with just a 10 day total post pic. I then added another pic from 12 days total. So here's my 6 months of MTK. Item (sold for) - amount (total) Teak (1k ea) - 2708 (2.71 Mill gp - due to Constr update only) Maple (100 ea) - 137,711 (13.77 Mill gp) Flax (120 ea) - 92,652 (11.60 Mill gp) Nest (2k ea) - 1,382 (2.76 Mill gp) Rings (2k ea avg) - 431 (.86 Mill gp) Obvious Total - 31.7 Mill gp Magic (180k ea) - 8 (1.44 Mill gp) Yews (70k ea) - 25 (1.75 Mill gp) Maple (35k ea) - 40 (1.40 Mill gp) Willow (15k ea) - 125 (1.86 Mill gp) Acorns (5k ea) - 208 (1.04 Mill gp) Tree Seed Total - 7.49 Mill gp Calq (80k ea) - 21 (1.68 Mill gp - Got lucky bulk sale) Palm (100k ea) - 15 (1.5 Mill gp) Papaya (60k ea) - 30 (1.8 Mill gp) Pineapple (45k ea) - 28 (1.26 Mill gp) Curry (13k ea) - 59 (0.77 Mill gp) Orange (8k ea) - 110 (0.88 Mill gp) Apple (6k ea) - 138 (0.828 Mill gp) Fruit Seed Total - 8.71 Mill gp GRAND TOTAL - 47.9 Mill GP or 35.6 Mill GP Profit Didn't track the herb seeds, but probably got a million gp off them. Some things were luck sales, such as the Teak right after Construction came out (you could sell them for 3k each at times). Don't expect prices like these all the time. ************************************************************ Here's what 750k bought me! Here's 12 days of results, 900k spent Here's 3300k Here's 3600k Finally here's 3750k Which is my very last for now as I'm shutting down my account for awhile after this month. Ok, now to find out what seeds I got. I'll post a pick of that too. 750k 900k 3300k 3600k 3750k ****************************** After further research, you can switch your resources anytime before you withdraw, and the resources you pick are what you will get. As for how much money you invested that gets applied to "work", here's a simple Boolean code. "Work" will be your total cash in your kingdom you can "buy" the material with at a predetermined rate (ex: Coal is 91.6 gp while flax is 40 gp each). Divide your "Work" by 15 and multiply by amount of workers you put on a resource (max of 10) to see how much cash you're using to buy material. IF (10% coffers) < 75k THEN Amount = (10% coffers) ELSE Amount=75k Coffers = Coffers - Amount Work = Work + (Amount * approval%) IF approval >25 THEN approval = approval - 1 ELSE approval = 25 You lose 1% approval a day, but it's all linear. You put in 7.5 million, leave for 30 days, you spent (30 * 75k) = 2.25 Million. However, as your approval dropped to 70%, it's like you've been at 85% everyday on average. 85% of 2.25 Million is 1.91 Million. With 10 workers on flax and 5 workers on coal, you'll get at end of 30 days 31,875 Flax (plus 30 herb seeds as a bonus) 6,959 Coal (plus 33 gems as a bonus) Here's the cost per item in the kingdom Coal - 91.6 each Flax - 40 each Tuna/Swords - 56.8, 189.4 each (10 to 3 ratio) Maple - 56.1 each Teak - 166.1 each Mohagany - 224.6 each Teak/Mohagany combo - 191.3 each (1 to 1 ratio) Unid Herbs - 826.4 each ~~Bonuses~~ Mining - 1 gem ever 150 coal Woodcutting - 1 nest every 100 maple Fishing - 1 item every 100 fish Flax - 1 herb seed every 600 flax
