The Second Thousand - A Noob's Journey (Less Than 80 Levels Left)
You certainly have done some nice progress. March was indeed a great month from you, with all those nice levels. You are getting to the really high levels in woodcutting and fletching now (beating me in both of them). Now you can also start opening your first couple of effigies (if you get any woodcutting ones, that is). Congratulations on your progress. Keep it up, and as usual, good luck!

Squeal of Fortune + Buyable Spins
It's good to see that they at least reply to the feedback on the forums. As one of few, I am not massively negative about this update. I understand why Jagex have done it, and I will certainly not quit/rage because of this. But I think that this is enough now. No more micro transactions now, please, Jagex.

Squeal of Fortune + Buyable Spins
We figured we'd post this: http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?news&id=2735 Great to see you warning people about this. Perhaps add an announcement to TIF with this message as well might be a good idea?

Squeal of Fortune + Buyable Spins
I don't really like where this is heading, though if I should be honest, I just tested out to buy myself some spins. Won't happen often though, with the prices they charge... And lol @ this not being RWT/gambling/buying advantage over other players with real cash.

JagMotion
What a bargain! :D Lol, awesome fool's day joke this year, Jagex. You actually seem to have put down quite some time on this this year ;)

Arrr, This be pleasin' to me eye
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrr (pirate speak for Ffffffffffffffffffuuuuuu) Ignore the ninja. He is jealous that we pirates can be hedonists who can overtly enjoy thrills and adventure while having rum by the barrel. Oh, did I mention the amazing piles of TREASURE we can plunder?! I will be sure to revel in all the pirate-themed mania until next sundown. Get your ale and join my crew, TiFers! Say, Vikings count too for the theme right? :D Well, vikings are not the exact same thing, but I would love to join you as a viking anyway! I am Swedish, after all ;)

Swedishboy7's blog! Going for all skills 80+!
Thank you. But I am really not that pro, honestly. There are many people on these forums which have like 10+ 99s, and quite a few got completionist :P. But I am happy with my progress, still, of course. Thanks for your post. I have now finally achieved my goal of 80 Mining! Now I am going to go for one more mining level, since I want to be able to mine red sandstone and make potion flasks. I have 89 crafting since earlier and it would be nice with some 100k+ gp every day from this together with some nice crafting and mining xp. I will do the quest for this, As a first resort, once I have leveled to level 81 Mining. I will be reaching this by mining concentrated coal as before, but also by mining stars. I have also reached level 79 Woodcutting, by skilling in the clan's citadel: Updated skills and bank pictures: Main tab: Mining/Hunter tab: Onward to 81 Mining now!

New player looking for a clan!
Hello! If you want to, you could join my clan. It is called "Laugh" and is mostly a social clan, with no special requirments. We host some events every now and then and are working on building up our citadel. We're about 80 people in the clan. I have added you in game. Please add me to if interested, my RSN is Swedishboy7.

Botting in Runescape
I agree with you on that Jagex have to decrease the grind. To get to much of what you call "the good content" you indeed have to spend a lot of time training your skills. But just because some things like herblore habitat takes a lot of time to be able to use, it doesn't mean that there are other fun, non-grinding activities that you can't do at a low level. There're many, many, many other activities and minigames you can enjoy without having leveled pretty much at all. What about taking your friends for a game of gnomeball, just as an example? Perhaps not the best example, but I think you understand what I mean here. There's plenty of high-level content in RS that is good, but there's also plenty of it for low and medium levels. I can find much of the medium level content just as fun as the high level content. For things like herblore habitat you need to work a bit with the game first. If you don't enjoy to work with your skills, which is one of the main features of RS, perhaps you should try another game? You can't just reap the reward in any game without having worked for it, and herblore habitat is just that.

16 - Mar - 2012 - Bonus XP Weekend
Myself I did mostly herblore and smithing. I went from level 75 to level 85 in Herblore (costed me A LOT of gp, but was worth it by far!) and I also leveled to level 73 Smithing from 72. A nice weekend :)

Botting in Runescape
What the heck does not liking bots have to do with "understanding there is more to life than runescape"? That's an insulting insinuation with very little grounds for saying it. He is again saying that, runescape requires grinding and people want to enjoy what time they have, so when they bot they can have more enjoyment and less grind. But what is the destination without the journey? I agree completely with this. If you are not willing to work for your reward, you don't deserve to get any reward. And that is why botting is bad. It's as easy as that.
