Wow! So many nice new posts in here :D Thank you for your support everyone! I think you are right. I have very rarely met anyone else who have had an untrimmed rc cape (perhaps two or three times through my whole RS history), and I have never met anyone with two 99s, of which one is runecrafting. A fury is planned to be bought soon :) I won't leave yet for a while :) No 99s planned for a while :) I am just going for 80+ all skills atm. Thank you :) Thanks for the offer, but no ty ;) I have been focusing on coal ore mining recently, so now I am mining some mithril ores in the Resource Dungeon in the Dwarf Mining Guild. I have also crafted myself some nice new decorated mining urns, which will give me some nice additional mining experience :) Current bank's main tab: I have also completed the monthly Troll d and d. A lot of saved money on prayer right here!

After quite some time of not updating this blog, I have now finally done so. I have not been so motivated to update this blog since all I have been focusing on is to make back the money I lost when I got hacked (mostly by distractions and diversions, runecrafting and merchanting). I have also had quite a busy time IRL. Now though, I am back once again and will update this blog more often. I will start by saying that it's great to have some cash in my bank once again :) Here's my current "Best of Bank": A nice little 152M. Now I am going to focus on mining for a while. I plan to reach at least level 80 Mining. Probably I will be mining past that level though, since I want to gather most of the materials I need for level 80 Smithing myself. I plan to make quite a lot of mithril arrows later on too, for fletching, so I will probably be mining quite some mithril. I am training at the living rock caverns by mining coal, since I have now finally reached level 77 Mining, and at the resource mines in the dwarf mine by mining mithril ores. My skills haven't become much more great since my last post, but some of them have certainly become better, such as runecrafting, in which I have passed a nice little milestone: My current skills (Not too far away from that 2k total now :) ) : Finally, some updated bank pictures: Current bank's main tab: 19/1 [hide=Whole bank] A big picture here 19/1 [/hide] Feel free to post and support me :D

It is nice to see read about your progress :) Congratulations on those recent level-ups, and surely it is great that you can see your playtime again in the AL! I think most of us does. And that's why I disagree with the first of the articles here. We're not all chasing the level 99s. That is to generalize way too much.

I usually use the south-western or south-eastern ones. Both since they are the ones closest to the GE teleport spot.

Your desperation to diss Jagex is so bad that you do it even when it is something totally out of their control? They certainly had control over whether to "brag" about it with a newspost. Seriously, if rs deserved any recognition, it should have been a few years before when it had a much more dominant position in the mmo market. Now out of the blue some sitedubs rs game of the year? I would not be surprised if jagex's pr team paid off the site to get it. Edit: actually, scratch that last paragraph. Just read more and found just how pitiful the "friendlie" awards are. No one needed to be paid for that shit. On the same blog is a more recent award giving mmo of the year to swtor. It is true that the friendlie awards are far from as big as the golden joystick awards. But it is still an award and something Jagex should be proud of. And we both very well know that IF Jagex was going to buy awards they wouldn't go for friendlie.

The new text-style looks horrible :( But the new quest looks very promising :)

Jagex having troubles with their updates today...

A very well-made and well-written post. I think that you here managed to nail down pretty much all the main things on why the game's F2P playerbase is decreasing. As I stated in my previous post here in this thread I really believe Jagex must start focusing more on the F2P part of the game. With F2P already being as empty as it is, with all its consequences (for example the trouble with getting help as you mentioned in your post), it is already very though. There needs to be more focus on F2P if Jagex want the game to start growing again. A great way to do this is to update the F2P version so that it better reflects the member's world. And by that I don't mean that F2P should get a new quest every month or that F2P should get access to what have been member's content before. No, what I mean is that F2P quests should be altered and updated so they become more like the member's quest, with fascinating storylines and some real challenges, that they got some more minigame and perhaps a couple of new skill additions. Just such a small thing as a graphical update that includes things in the F2P world would surely make a positive impact. Before ending this post, I want to state that I believe that the game is not dying. But I think that Jagex really should focus more on the F2P version of the game, since very few players will join P2P without first having got a good impact from F2P. And that last part is sadly quite hard today.

A great update according to me. I really like the toolbelt and the moneypouch, and several of those auras looks very interesting. Sadly I have spent quite a lot of my loyalty points recently so it will probably take a while until I get any new auras. But I look forward to testing them out :)
