I would say that you block those tasks that you yourself feel irritating or unecessary. Myself I am blocking those *beep* kalphite tasks...

There are few times I am sad about living in Sweden. One of those times was today, after having finished the RuneFest article. So much fun...And I missed it all just because it is so far to go there and I don't have the money to travel (poor student = me :( ). Great set of articles, as always.

Well. I got hacked. Lost about 200m in armour/weapons/pure cash and some other things as well. I have no idea how they (the hackers) managed to get into my account. I had a great password, with both numbers and letters, and above 10 symbols long. And they managed to get my bank pin as well. I have no viruses on my computer. The only thing I can really think of is brute force. How the *beep* that was possible, I have no idea. BUT I WILL NOT QUIT. Just wanted to make that clear. I will continue my rs adventures, and I will do it from now and on. I have changed my password. I will change my bank pin and my recoveries as soon as I have posted this. Thanks to Ninja for donating! New bank/equipment picture: Now I will go kill some more of those blue dragons!

Congratulations on those nice levels, and the completion of that quest (I have yet to help Summer Bonde out).

My quest tab takes 10+ seconds to load, usually it is about 1. Jagex doesn't want me to quest, even though I got almost 2k total and have completed less than half the quests in the game :(

Congratulations on all those nice recent levels. It is just as fun to read through your blog posts now as it was when you started this blog. You have come quite far now and you are still doing nice and quick progress. But man, you should really go train some runecrafting ;)

My response to this is simple: YES! A beta release for major updates would be a great idea.

Hello all! I would like to get some nice merching items suggestions. Now when bots are gone, what are some items that might be a wise choice for investement? And inb4 "How much cash you got?": About 100m. So I got plenty to use for merching, but I will probably start out not too big. Thanks in advance!

Except if they made us sign a user agreement where we agree to have it installed. After all, who really reads those things? I'm sure they wouldn't be the first company to install something like that and hide behind the EUA. So true. But I still don't really think they will handle it this way. Now it just less than a day before this probably hugely game-effecting update comes. And I will throw my guess in: It will be an update that actually removes the bot, by adding some kind of new coding system into the game. It will automatically check the players in some for us noticeable way, but that doesn't disturb us too much. With a fancy algorithm or two. Let's hope Jagex's plan works.

Yes, I think so too. GAME is just advertising Runescape, and the top of the page have nothing to do with the bottom of it. At least that is what I guess.

Sad to hear about your loss man. Sadly there is so much scum these days, just like you say. And even if you do your best to keep your account all secure it just makes the risk smaller of being hacked. It never completely removes it. I hope you get that mask back soon!

Hello all! I have recently completed the Halloween event. It was a nice one, with some quite challenging puzzles. I love the new emote :D Mostly I have been mining recently, although I haven't been able to play much the last week because of school. But I do my best and have made some progress on my goal of 80 Mining, as can be seen on the pictures below. (Soon enough ores for 1k mithril bars now :D ) Progress to 77 Mining:
