To fail every curse, you must wear dragon vambraces with your armor. If you don't have dragon vambs, curse the Zamorak monk (or mage, I forgot) under the stairs in Varrock castle. He will shake off any curse very quickly. Have fun! (or try to, at least) :wink:

But i think itÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâôs said that you can melee it on defence mode and only get defence exp. But im not sure about that neither.. :lol: Well thx anyway. :wink: You will always get strength and defense XP, no matter what style you use. Just wear a rune chain when you're ranging. It doesn't affect your ranging bonus, but gives a nice defense bonus. :wink:

Yes, except for the black square shield you mentioned. Elvarg will kill you in one breath if you use that thing (scared ya, didn't I?). You absolutely NEED the anti dragon breath shield. You can get it from the Duke of Lumbridge. Just bring some good food (lobsters or swordfish) and you will own him. :wink:

I tried "chronicles", but after about 10 seconds, my eyes started to hurt...now I'm on "subrebel". Nice and plain. 8-)

On the calculator, there are 3 options: Smithing, smelting, and smithing/smelting. If you use the "smithing" option, it calculates what level you will be after you convert the bars to cannonballs. If you use the "smelting" option, it calculates what level you will be after you convert the ores to bars. If you use the "smithing and smelting" option, it calculates what level you will be after you convert the ores to bars, and bars to cannonballs. Hopefully that wasn't too confusing. :wink:

Rimmington is a good spot for this. There are a few trees just south of the town, and hardly anybody goes there. Just cut a load, then it's a quick walk to the general store to sell.

I disagree with these definitions. A "n00b" is usually somebody who acts like they are new, but really isn't. The meaning of "newb" matches the one in your post.

When I did it, as soon as I killed the vampire, I got the reward. Maybe with the update, you have to talk to somebody afterwards...

What does your in-game quest panel say?

I think they made some changes to Vampire Slayer a while ago. That's probably why I'm confuzzled. :oops:

That's not what I had to do when I killed him. I just had the and stake in my inventory, and I automatically used it.

Just having the hammer, stake, and garlic in your inventory is good enough. Look in your quest panel in-game, and see if it says you have finished the quest.

Once you defeat Count Draynor, you are done with the quest. From your post it sounds like you still haven't gotten the reward. Is this correct?

He is spying the the Wise Old Man across the street. If you don't know what the WOM did, talk to the bank guard just outside the bank. You can watch a video from the security camera in the bank. Give the guard in the tree some stew...he gets mighty hungry sometimes. :wink:
