  1. So I have about 90M to spend on some skills and I narrowed it down to my 3 most useful skills, Herblore, Summoning, and Prayer now this will get me.... either 92 Prayer 86 Herblore or not quite sure with summon after barrage/burst costs but i have 85 banked already + 90M to use so.... which do you think I should do and why?
  2. the biggest problem I see with games that offer the free and paid version is that those with free can interact with the members, however the members can use the members items in the free version of the game as well, giving it a very unbalanced feel to the game. Runescape is one of the few games where this has never happened and never will happen. F2p and P2p are two different games all together, and let's face it. If members could use their godswords on the swordfish and anchovy pizza eaters out there... Not many people would enjoy f2p pvp. (pvp in f2p i believe is a very big part of the game since it's where many clans will do their fighting among other things)
  3. The safespot is nice but then you won't be able to properly bless the graves, what i suggest doing instead is stay in front of the boss and when he charges just run slightly behind him and you will not be hurt. This will give you a view of where to bless as well. Nice find for those who need a bit of time to stay safe and think it through though :)
  4. What's there to discuss? this is simply basic an early screenshot of what will happen in the future, a bug now, but truth in January. I see no means of discussion
  5. I was thinking that for trading, it might be possible to keep the cap for consumables and stackables since those can be the most used for RWT, then let other items have a 5% or 10% money cap in which you could buy them for example if you bought 10,000 lobsters at 200 each, you had to pay 1997K-2003K and not 1900k-2100k (5%) but if you bought at non-consumable that oscillates up and down in price depending on new uses (barrows, for example, goes up when a new high level dungeon that has good items is released) you'd buy verac for 3.4M, you could pay 3230k-3570K(5%) it would allow for fast selling or actual profits. Otherwise i like your ideas on pking, about themed worlds of old style pk, but if bounty hunter dungeon was non-multiway and you were matched with opponents only +/- 5 levels of you, i believe it would be a fun way to pk.
  6. Well let's be realistic here.... with chinchompas you get approx 200xp per chin you throw (sometimes less sometimes more, on average 200) with 90+ range (that's how it worked for me) meaning that from 90-99 which is about 7M xp you'd need 35k chinchompas. However, you get to throw approximately 1.2k chins an hour so you average 240k xp an hour Now you may think "wow 35k chins, that's over 25M" well remember the xp/hr ratio you get. this would mean you get 90-99 in just under 30 hours Using other methods you can get usually 40-50k range exp per hour *at 90+ range* which would be 140-175 hours (157.5 = average) that means that you take an extra 127.5 hours ranging... and probably only spend 3M on arrows and such, which means that if you cannot make 22M in 127.5 hours, chinchompas isnt for you. This comes out to about 173k an hour, which is easily do-able, but of course this is if chinchompas were 700 ea. however they peak at 800 usually and if they did this would simply mean 3M more so to summarize... -90-99 ~about 35k chins(700-800, or 25-28M) and 30 hours -90-99 ~about 3M in arrows and bolts and 157.5 hours -income 173-196k an hour = chins is a better option it's truly not a lot when it comes down to it. but of course im excluding any profit you may get when using the usual methods.
  7. Just came to say for everyone who ACTUALLY tried my guide and made their own modifications to better it for themselves, thank you Obviously you do not have to take item by item of what i show, you can mix and match to find what works for you. That's what a higher level of thinking can achieve... now for those that come in to simply state that "so and so's guide is better" with no basis of comparison, just leave. Go play rs and don't waste time with this nonsense. I will agree that Jordan's guide is better for the majority of people since most people whom do kill for money are USUALLY preferring attack over defence... If you didn't read the title of this guide before you posted, let me restate it.... Aviansie slaying tips [for people with defence] So if you prefer praying, my guess is you either don't enjoy defence, prefer minimal attention (longer trip with less attention is what pretty much prayer potions will provide), or simply do not have a good enough defence level to "tank" these out and again, thanks for those who tried it and made their own modifications to it and liked it.
  8. well i do say you get 100ish-300ish kill per trip depending on swordfish drops i also stated that you get a lot more with prayer potions but its more costly, this cost less [im talking about amount of cost PER kill] this makes trips faster, i like it because it gives me more chance to do clues i get, take breaks so i can do other stuff, and its profitable as well. Which method you prefer is only dependent on choice, if you prefer camping out for a very long time rather than taking some breaks, prayer potions/guthans/bones to peaches is a choice for you. Thanks
  9. Thank you for trying it before commenting on it, and yes i forgot to mention one thing I only kill the 69-89 Aviansie and particularly the 71 and 83 who are attacked by the Gorak. This allowed me to get more kills with less damage being done
  10. you guys are saying on how prayer pots aren't costly? well my tip simply doesn't require prayer pots, that means you will have them for something like barrows/quests/high level monsters etc. i simply give you a tip in which you can make use of defence rather than prayer, you don't need to comment how prayer potions are cheap, i acknowledge that there are pros and cons, and i'm writing a guide that requires even less money for higher profit
  11. No need to apologize, all comments welcome. The reason i only included curry's and tuna potatoes is because those are the only two i make, mainly because i personally think there the only two worth the hassle. There both 'one bite' foods. You make a good point about pizza but it takes 3 bites to get that hp heal and to be honest i dont think alot of people bother with them. I felt it necessary to repeat parts simply because someone might want to make tuna potatoes and not bother reading the previous stuff. I didnt want people to come back screaming at me because they didn't realise you need bowl to make a tuna spud. I had no intention of making a huge "how to cook", "level up your cooking" or "fastest cooking xp" guide. Sorry for any misconceptions. :D then you should simply change the name to "the good food tips" instead of guide, otherwise i understand what you mean there
  12. thank you for the comment and yes what you say is true, bones to peaches will allow for a near infinitely long trip, it will also work with guthans for quick healing if you prefer it that way [heal on goblins, pyrefiends, any monster being attacked (except aviansie)] People that use prayer potions for things that are otherwise... unneeded, simply add to the evergrowing price of prayer potions, aviansie slaying isn't very great for exp, it's mainly done for money, so why not do the method that requires least money? Happy Slaying
  13. its good and all but it's too limited, you should make the entries shorters, for example you dont need to put how to get potatoes twice, but it would be useful to let us know other foods than just 2. [pineapple pizza, for example heals 20, why not include something about other high healing foods?] Sorry for the criticism but what you have seems like the start, you need more to be actually useful
  14. I posted this on Jordanweb's guide but it's such a long guide this wouldnt get many views http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=708158 I have a very interesting setup that will be much much more cost efficient and will allow a trip of 120-350 [my min and max in any trip using this setup] Here is what it is composed of Of course these can be replaced to mix and match but i use this because it gives me a satisfactory range defence [200+] and range attack [75+] bonuses. Ups and downs of this techqnique: Ups -more cost efficient! 20 and some odd prayer pots are quite costly, this way, including barrow repair costs will cost about 25-35k a trip -make use of those swordfish drop! in one trip recently done by me i receive a total of 9 yes NINE swordfish drops [45 total] prolonging my trip from my 150 to nearly 375 kills! -more profit! well if it costs less, you rake in more profit Downs -barrow repairs :( -shorter trips most time. sure this may be so but it does not take very long to walk from the bank to the aviansie and you will still get an adequate amount of kills -i couldn't find anymore *NOTE* the range potion and super defence can help [especially super defence] so i suggest you bring it!, but only repot when you've nearly 100% ran out because your trip should last as long as the potions *NOTE* dragon boots give no range defence so any boot with range bonus is better [i just like keeping it on me] And my stats so theres no confusion [only the needed ones] **TIP!! ** want to kill nearly 2x as fast getting 2x as much profit in the same time? Who doesnt? well you must learn to use the evergoing battle in that dungeon! the gorak shown in the picture is attacked by the level 83 and 71 aviansie [yes only those] and he can damage up to 14! that means he will speed up your killing speed Gorak before you attack Gorak after you attack The black square in the minimap is the level 71 aviansie that constantly attacks the gorak, remember if you get the last hit when its 2 npcs you still get the drop! Make use of that and attack those aviansie that are being killed by pyrefiend, vampires, icefiend, bloodveld, and gorak. This will make your trip much more profitable in the end Comments appreciated, happy aviansie slaying

  16. i wonder though... what if you allow someone to make something out of your onyx and they just cut it into bolt tips? costing you a small fortune...
  17. how is accessing inventory going to help? he needs to access magic page...
  18. Everything I was going to say, including the edit? There were bones but there were like 10 bars also from a couple dragon kills in same spot, so IDk if that affects if bones appear. Also as a side update, I'm currently at 2450 CW tickets. Just look at the number of options ^.^ Nice drop, nothing as great as a med when they were 2.3m a piece :-w also 2450 CW tickets!!!!  going for full gold?
  19. 85-87 magic 12m of drops (i solo'ed rex for the mage levels) 89-90 hits as well oh and one defence level from healing with guthan
  20. Well actually the reason ranged was hard to train is because once engaged in combat you could only mage and melee no range (if the opponent could reach you) And "multi" was EVERYWHERE.... If you ranged/maged a monster that some meleer is killing you still damage it But also you could be meleeing one monster and maging another (there wasnt any "interruptions" since you could only eat and drink if not engaged in combat
  21. Hey what's up didnt know you posted here ^.^ Not bad stats bank... get members and join me
