I urge you to read last weeks BH/PVP updates. These new items are dropped in pvp only, and can be traded in at edgeville bank, or in lumbridge courtyard on pvp/bh worlds.

The first week after i got my first car, i was driving to to a garage to get the brakes checked, pulled up to a roundabout, pulled out, got halfway around and a woman pulled out because she hadn't seen me, i went straight into her drivers side door. Bloody woman wasn't looking where she was going, and because of her, my insurance has cost me £500 more this year than last year :wall: General idea of the crash:

You say i won't see any results, but i already have, for the amount of time spent, it's more than i expected. As i say, i'm not doing anything serious, its just a spare time thing. And no i'm not a woman, i was just very skinny after years of doing nothing at all ;)

Exactly, hence the reaosn i made this thread. Merched = wait for two weeks for it to crash Inflation = buy as much as possible now

Did you use them for the whole course, or just the end?

Bandos was never dropped in pvp, which is why my first thought was merch clans. I guess it's just people have alot more cash due to pvp now driving the price up.

First update since...well...ever that i can't try out on the day of release, nevermind, gives something to aim for after 70 agility now, just a shame i have to go back to ape atoll now, i never liked that course.

Is it being merched, or is it rising due to the new inflation? I've been planning on buying the plate for a few weeks, but it's been constantly rising, no point in buying at 17m, if it will be 15m or lower in a few weeks is there.

I'm a real slow burner in excercise. I'm not after quick muscle, i'd rather get it slowly over time. I've been using some dumbells for about a half a year now, started off at 3kg (was first ons i'd ever had gime a break :D ), went up to 4.5kg a short while ago, and now i've gone up to 6kg. I can really feel it after about 25 lifts on the 6kg, i like to upgrade when i can muster up about 40-50 lifts fairly easily. Going back to the 3kg, i can feel how much stronger i've gotten, i can't see much in my arms, but thats jsut because they've grown slowly (i had very skinny arms when i started) Doing some cycling to help a freind work out over the summer when he's back from uni, he's doing some mini-marathon later in the year, so hopefully he can get me into a bit better shape.

Not from my knowledge, you may have just been lucky to start with. That or (which i haven't heard) they have done a silent update nerfing the new drops, which is to expected to be honest.

With sc axe. It will half the amount of time you spend using them, which means you will get x experience 2x quicker. the counter argument is that you will get half the ores, but as you will most probably only be mining addy and half mith, it isn't worth a whole lot, so the other half of time would be better making money elsewhere.

I never take payment for it, why should i? If i'm not using it, it won't inconvenience me. I'll sometimes lend out to random people if they ask nicely enough too.

Mining you could do in the hobgoblin mine in wilderness, and fishing on the eastern shore of wilderness, both hotzone and not 'common' pk areas. Its best to use 3 high protecting items, and have a warrior ring, and use it as the 4th item as it protects low, but is worth just over 100k. If you get attacked, protect item it.

Some ok reads this week, i already knew the DYK, but it seems alot of people don't, as it was introduced in the 'other news' section of an update i think, its great for saving bank space taken up by various dose potions.

You may thing the mage tree is better, but it isn't. The oak tree cuts so much faster, yes you will use the glvoes quicker, but you would get far more exp using the brawlers on the oak tree, then cutting willows, than cutting the mage tree for all the brawlers. If its fast exp and not the mage logs you want, definately go with the oak tree.

TORAGS: You're wrong. Torags has the EXACT SAME defense bonuses as guthans and dharoks. The helm and legs also match the corresponding veracs pieces (but are inferior since Veracs gives prayer). So no, it's not the best. It's equal or worse. GUTHAN: Obsolete really. Bunyip/Unicorn/SGS/Excalibur/Pizzas/Regen Brace/Rapid Heal have pretty much replaced every single one of its viable uses. Sure it's still GOOD in some places, but in no where I know of is it the BEST. VERAC: Agreed on PvP, but it's worthless for boss monsters. As said before, it's GOOD, but not the BEST. Godswords deal with TDs, GWD, and DKS much better and the KQ is official obsolete as a boss monster. DHAROK: The max is a perfect 99 on another player. Yes, it's great for the high hits. Agreed. KARIL: Yeah, the xbow is awesome, but the major two turnoffs are irretrievable ammo and it being 2h. It's NOT noob for the rest of the set. It's the second best magic defense in the game. Only Armadyl is better, which costs like 20x more, and Armadyl gives negative melee attack bonuses. Only truly worthless piece is the coif. AHRIMS: Agreed, but who else except a mage would use mage armor anyway? It's good for mages, and that's all that matters. The staff isn't so good, and the Farseer can compete with the hood, but the top and bottom is awesome. [/hide] True on Ahrims, I didnt think about the defence of it. :wall: I still have to disagree with torag though. I used it all the time when I did do combat, and it seems to have the best defence is the game, but then again I might be wrong. Ah well, if i ever do combat again, it will be with torag ;) EDIT:1000th post im so happy :D Well the best defense in the game is actually the PvP armors coupled with a Dragonfire shield or Elysian Spirit Shield (or the other one, you get what I mean). But if you compared the stats of Torags Legs, Dharoks Legs, Veracs Skirt, and Guthans Skirt, you'll find they're the same. So they're really equal. Actually that's a lie, because Veracs is the best of the 4 (prayer bonus). But if you look at defenses alone, they're all the same. Although Torags does tend to be the cheapest, you have to watch those prices carefully. Dharoks is currently the cheapest platebody. Zaaps your wrong on the defences. Torags and guthan's helms are tied for top defence, then it's veracs with less ranged def but pray bonus, then dharoks. Torags, dharoks and guthan's plates have the same def, then veracs has lacks alot of defence on all faces but again, has prayer bonus. Torags and dharoks tie on top defence for the legs, then veracs skirt has less ranged def but prayer bonus (and weighs less), then guthans skirt falls behind on almost all defence. So you see, torags on the whole is the best defence, as the others all havea part that lacks, whereas torags is always the best.

Is bandos being merched, or is it going to stay at its current high price due to the new mass inflation? I was planning on buying some, but there's no point if it will be 3m cheaper in 2 weeks.

I tried to say the same thing when there was like 5 pages of people's rush/pj kills, didn't work. Congratz ont eh fire capes guys, it's strange, when i started playing, +200 melee def and up was massive, then when i managed 300+ i thought i'd be unhittable, now we can get the high 300's and low 400's.

=D> (I clapped for you, happy now?) - The defense/armour doesn't have the slightest influence over the maximum or "average" hit if your still hit- other than spectral/divine shields nothing reduces the damage done. However I doubt you hit "most of the time" If i hit 34,0,24 on rune, and then 24,0,0 on barrows, would you not say it has reduced the damage taken? I certainly would. He's right. Armour doesn't protect against strength, only attack. I was just saying my average hit. An average hit is nothing if you don't hit at all. I bet if you took 0's into the average, it would be alot lower.
