You've got that wrong, its this: Clan manipulation: Several buy a large amount of an item that they all know will rise because they have taken the majority of said item out of the economy Several sell bought items after they have risen sufficiently, causing said item to have days/weeks/months worth of the item pumped into the economy, causing it to crash in price, usually to lower than it was originally.

That... is a brilliant argument! After all, all these clans are doing is buying and selling items. They're not going over the limits set by Jagex, they're just using the GE. They're not lying about the prices as the GE sets prices. They're not scamming or being deceitful, they're just using the GE. If there's anything wrong here, it's with the cumbersome device Jagex refuses to repair, not the players. I have a car, i'm driving along the road, somebody steps out in front of me, i carry on driving, run them over and kill them, and carry on driving along the road. I see no definate rule saying i should brake and stop to try and avoid hitting them. All i'm doing is driving, the person got in the way. Finished all the tabs, i'll extend them as i go doing those minigames. Back to killing giants. Expect to kill hopefully 500-1k today, if i don't get a scroll that is.

Well theres only a bare few who've completed the champions challenge, so just doing that will hopefully make my account quite unique. Timing myself last night, i'm managing between 30-35 giants every 5 minutes, which means a minimum of 300 an hour (with slacking). Looking at other peoples kill counts for the giants scroll, shouldn't take me more than around 20 hours :wall: But i'm getting alot of gold charms from them unexpectedly, so all isn't so bad.

Goals: Skill Goals: - 78 construction, to hang my KBD head, and basically never have to train construction again, i'll do a massive revamp of my house when i reach 78, and have the best item in every place if i can afford it. COMPLETE - 99 str, to max my melee combat - 99 range/mage, just to finish off combat skills, and mage will really help at cw. - 2000 Total currently 1927 at time of writing this, lets hope another skill comes out to give me some easy levels haha. My goal over the summer is to complete the chapions challenge, hopefully be the 3rd tipitter (that i know of) to do it.

Read through the thread if you want to see the average age of merchant clan members. I just hope Jagex read Tipit more than that thread, and know that we don't all think like the people there, and aren't all whiney little brats. Mod Mat K did say something which these merchant clans should listen to, merchanting is a risky business, this time it didn't pay off.

So what if Jagex interviened, its their game, they don't want to see an item which is regularly traded being manipulated beyond what regular players will pay for the item, simple as. They are doing it for the greater # of players. Price manipulation has always been against the Rs rules, yet these clans manipulating the prices still persist, yes it is because the g.e can be manipulated, but just because you can do something, should you? good on em if they did drop the price, i want to sit here laughing at all the bandwagon merchants that will lose money.

Post what's said here or screenshots, because i really cba to go somewere else to read something when i come to Tif.

A final fantasy game?

Thats where im killing them atm, but unfortunately its single combat. They seem like the ebst single combat ones though, lots of them, and always empty.

Wheres the best place to fight them, empty, maybe even multi-combat so i could use a cannon?

Uncut d-stones were recently merched and dumped by merch clans, making them un-sellable for a few days/weeks untill they drop to a low price. Not sure about the palm seeds.

You might be able to get 99 smithing with that if you use Sc hammers, the same with cons but not sure. Definately cook/fletch/fm.

In the mining section, you say to wear a hunter crossbow. but wouldn't it be better to equip the pickaxe to give yourself another invent spot?

Unfortunately no i don't think so, unless you get a d med drop or two, which seem to be about 1/100 ish. But it still worth it for the regular bloodvelds which don't need to be prayed on, which are always empty.

They hare much beter in the blood altar dungeon. theres two types, regular an mutated. Both cannonable, mutated have massive hp and very little defence, so are perfect for slaying (although you need p pots). Their drops arent much better than regular velds, they are always empty though so are good exp. It is definately worth it imo, even if it is just for the fact it is always empty.

Debating wether or not to use mining brawlers on PVP or BH then, Bh obviously more dangerous, but more reward.

Just wondering if drop potential carries over from each other. Also, do brawlers work on Bh worlds?

Sorry, but i have to dismiss this, i know maybe one pure? and i know tons of people who use SK, i've never heard this thing of pures using SK before, not sure were this is coming from. Also, to people saying, just open up other windows etc, thats the whole point, you don't have to open things up, its there, one click away, thats the point of convenience.
