If you think about it, Jesus is definately up there. If he was the son of god he would have been infinately intelligent etc... And if he was just a normal man, he was smart enough to con millions, billions into basing a religion after him. I dont see eintein having his own religion :)

I'd add aristotle and plato to the list too, im a great beleiver in the ancient philoosophers (sp?) They laid the backbone for so much of what we know today. Who was the one on one of the islands near italy, malta i think it was?

I' don't know much in the area, but im sure not everything becomes fossilised right, for example, we dont conclusively know every species that ever existed, maybe an offshoot of the raptors (most intelligent dinosaur i know of but thats only from films) grew hands with thumb-like parts somehow.

I couldn't think of a short title to get this across so you have some reading. Last night while trying to get to sleep, i rememberd seeing on tv about how humans had only recently come about, and in the grand scale of evolution, we play a tiny, minescule part, and if it wasn't for all our buildings and thing we've made, there wouldn't be much trace of us at all, which got me thinking, in my sleep deprived state, if we as a race, in the next thousand or so years manage to wipe ourselves out (if you look how fast technology moves, we should have something capable of it in less than a thousand years), and if said thing managed to destroy everything man made, would any intelligent life that managed to evolve in another 20+ million years ever know humans exited? And to that case, what if a super intelligent race of dinosaurs had evolved and grown an intelligent civilisation in the last few hundred thousand years of that era, and had managed to wipe themselves out in the same fashion, would we ever know? To that, there could have been countless intelligent lifeforms on this planet before us, and there could be many after, technology could just move so fast once a race grows enough that it stops it ever leaving a big enough mark :| But yeah this was all a sleep deprived thought though, and is probably just crazy.[*]

Wouldn't most life on earth already be wiped out if it got to a stage you needed to nuke zombies? But then, would radiation kill zombies?

Alot so far in this thread will sound incredibly healthy compared to me. I balance eating rubbish with just not eating much. As i only one day of the week i get out of bed before lunch time, saturdays the only chance i get to even eat breakfast. And for some reason im in the habbit of eating a rustlers rib burgers saturday morning before work. All other days of the week i will get up at around 2pm ish, find something in the freezer like pizza, a microwaveable meal etc, and have that for lunch/just woken up food but too late to be breakfast food. then i'll go to work, at work all i will eat is a twirl and a bottle of lucozade on my break to give me some energy. Then once i'm home i'll usually have a small meal like spag bol, a curry or a fried breakfast ( i have no imagination on what to eat for a meal so i usually rotate those 3 :D ) From then on in the night i'll barely eat anything, maybe a packet of crisps. Oh and on saturday nights if im in il'll have a takeaway, thats basically all my diet in a paragraph. Couple that with no excercise apart from lifting weights a few nigths a week, im strangely healthy. Average height, not skinny, not fat, its very strange.

I'm not too sure about them, but i know i dislike them, but thats just because they or somebody associated with them threatened my A-Level history teacher. He's white, British, Christain etc, but put something on his website about ww2 for his students, can't remember specifically but it got the BNP's attention, and he got some threatening emails #-o

Why do i have to live so close to one of the only cases in my country :cry: We need to find a stronghold where we can all hide. I have the worst job for this kind of thing, on the checkouts in a supermarket, i have to come in close contact with hundreds of people each day, i bet you i catch it.

I'll be voting for it once the guides finished aswell. Just like le_fay's summoning pet guide, this is a guide that is very throrough and isn't found anywere else.

Is archery actually any good? I've never really bothered with it because in most situations i'd never really use it. In seiges i use a halberd to pick people off at range while they climb the ladder, and i'm horrible at aiming with bows.

Imo its fine to steal somebodies kills if they log into your world and try to kill the things your are killing. Its just a lack of respect for other people killing something they had been at first. Its a lack of human decency. If i go somwere to kill something and somebody is already there, i'll sometimes ask if they are going to be there long, or hop.

The op isnt even ranked in slayer (from what i can see) so how can he say its easy? People say you can get 100k/h, its possible but will be a rarity for most people. Who the hell gets daggs every task before 85? and uses cannon on every one of them. Its stupid saying oh you can get 100k/h so you can get 85 in x hours. Slayer has a really high variable rate, sometimes you'l get 20k/h, sometimes 40k. It all depends on your gear too, a majority dont like losing 1k+ cannonballs on every task. I personaly probably get around 20k/h on most tasks taking it easy.

As all of the other replies, i can definately relate to the early bird article, and i really do relate to it. Only recently i became 83 slayer, and my first ever task was spirit mages, and when i got there it was empty, but after about 1/4 of the task a higher level'd player arrived and did exactly as happened in that article. I've only ever had 3 mages tasks, and the first two both had that type of crashing. Its ashameful really that some players in this game seem to have lost all respect for other people, and totally forget the other players are human's too.

Those dark knights in the NE are too hard for me. To be honest, most of the time you have to rely on the numbers system in fights with them to have a chance of winning. Any time i've gone face to face with them, even with an army of lords, i got wiped out. It took me and 5 vaeger armies just to siege a dark knight castle, and there werent even any lords garrisonned there.

If its price speculation then i agree, if itsupdate speculation, its an annoyance but its kind of what the forums for.

I get why they are being very cautious about what info they give about future updates, they've learnt their lesson in the past about letting us know what's in store. I would have liked to know which mod was at the top of the leaderboard.

I have and i've tried. You know theres the two options, you can choose your players name or the .txt file, but, my players name is where the .txt file option is, its strange, I've edited the .txt file perfectly but it still won't appear ingame. for the life of me i can't figuyre out what i've done wrong, or wether i just have a strange bug were the game can't find the file.
