Addy and rune would be slower exp, but more profit. You would be saving money on the coal needed which makes the profit more, but you would take a fair amount of time banking. I would think mithril would be the peak exp.

Looks to me like something, probably fire/firebreath/lava, comes out of the dragon's mouths into that area, from where you can forge items... Yeah you can see the run off areas for the molten liquids. Maybe it'l allow us to use a furnace at the same time as an anvil there.

I sided againt lucien and got it just a min after i logged in. Maybe they are doing a new split route quest, same rewards and length ish but a different quest altogether.

It's also apparent that during its construction you chose to leave out many possible points that would serve to invalidate your argument. As far as I'm aware, it's possible to make a decent profit from every skill if it's levelled wisely without trying to do it in 5 minutes flat. Do you disagree? Yes i disagree, you make me a decent profit from cooking, without leveling another skill alongside it. That was possible and used alot before skillcapes. The same goes for fletching, smithing, herblore, crafting and most secondary skills. So you want to make millions off of a skill in a day and you think it's fair? You're not doing much to distance yourself from these FotM whiners are you? "Skillcapes ruined a skill coz you can't make millions in a day". That's an epic fail of a whine there, mate. Please enlighten me where i've aid you could make millions in a day? No, you can't because i havent. Skills didn't make millions, but they didn't turn out a loss either, they made stable profits, i remember at one point you could make 100gp per shark from cooking, raking in a constant 100k/h, not millions but a nice profit. However, since skillcapes (ok maybe in the past month with PvP worlds its changed) it's hard to turn any sort of profit at all, with people cooking much more than is used. The same goes with other secondary skills as i said. Also, when defending your intelligence I think it would be prudent to atleast employ the use of a spellcheck. Thanks for adding your incredible wealth of stupidity to my original point. The few people that read my guides/posts/replies regularly will know i type very quickly and do usually have spelling mistakes, but as its still readable and i don't have spellcheck it will stay this way.

I'm wondering how noticing that skillcapes made people train skills to 99 they would never have done before, thus making prices rise in items around that skill, thus making the skill no profit is me making a 'public display of self pity'. Now don't get me wrong from your post i can see you are a highly intelligent poster around here (Sarcasm much) But you look like you have not thought about the impact skill capes had one bit. I'm not going to go into the fact you called most of tipit un-intelligent and that most of us could not string a decent, balanced argument together if it hit us in the nose. I'l concentrate on your 'argument' instead.

They let you hit more often and get hit less by magic attacks. Personally i feel magic potions protect from mmagic attacks more than a defence potion.

^ Thats the sole reason i very rarely wear my skillcape, i think people will think i only got 99 att for the cape instead of the fact i have always had much higher att than the rest of my skills. I think there are probably a few people who feel as me with their skillcapes too.

Because they tunred skills from a way to make money into a way to get a cape. Before skillcpaes very few skills lost you money, it was a matter of choosing a skill you liked and made good money on. Once they were introduced it stripped the profit from most skills, making them more of a burden to train than money making.

They are the same speed as long as you click correctly. The only thing is up to how you play, do you want the extra bonus but HAVe to be paying attention when using it, or do you want a little less bonus but with a more relaved auto cast.

If they're going to be selling items, people are going to get bored and quit fast. IMO this project is going to trip on the starting blocks. Totally agre. Unless they mimic runescapes payment system of incredibly good 'bang for your buck' at such a cheap price for their game, and leave out microtransactions then it will certainly fail. And it looks like they won't be doing as i say at all, so you can see the result. The problem with microtransactions on a cheap game like runescape is that to make it competetive to runescape items would have to be sold dirt cheap, but that would also mean that much of the core elemtns of the kind of game would be ruined. If they think a WoW copy but with an engine that will rune in a browser will work they are mistaken.

i find spectres alot easier with prayer, same as waterfiends as you usually make your money back on both. But goraks i prefer to guthan and bunyip together, much easier.

Lol, they're extreemely random. I put in my name a some of the possible alternatives had "pk" in them. I tried a few friends names and some random ones and nearly each names possible alternative had a name with "pk" in it. It's just so.. stupid. I've got to admit i sat there for a few mins screenshotting bad words alternatives. Shame my one came up with boring ones, Danqazmlp1-5 then for some reason oxdanqazmlp :S

Nobody forces him to use those summons. The gain from familiars being agressive and gaining exp much outwighs the negatives like this, imo this is just a minature problem that he personally can avoid with ease.

I would take a guess the code is behind some kind of security seal, a tag or some kind of plastic. Look if its been tampered with before you buy.

Recently theres been a huge surge in slayer, in the past most spots rarely had people at them so hopping wasn't much of a problem. Nowdays its bad though, with usually 2-3 people per type of task pe world, it can get rather busy. Personally i hop 6 times, to find an empty world, if none of them are empty i then go to the world with the least people from the ones i just looked at.

A MMAG ( : ) I know, but what is runescape to you? Close your eyes and just think Runescape whats the first thing that comes into your head? What makes this game we play what it is? I can guess half the posts will be 'noobs with bad spelling bad attittudes etc etc' But what else is runescape? Personally i see runescape as a kind of chatroom with a game built around it. Name me another game where people sit in a bank doing nothing but talking to other people and shouting HYT when somebody recogniseable walks by? P.S yeah i wanted to break the 'moan about pking' thread tend from the last few days -.-

Pretty much knew most of this, but its nice that the people in charge know it too. Its been obvious to most of us that the age they aim at with runescape is as said, but its nice to see there aiming at a higher age with mechscape, much as runescape was when it was first released. I also totally agree about funorb, getting bored of runescape, funorb was the first thing i went to, and its incredibly smart moving by jagex.

And people wonder why pkers/pures get bad reps. Look at al the comments after every kill. Plus, gtfo off these forums, misleading title, rubbish vid, [bleep]ish acting ingame is not the sort of thing we like around here.

This guy's been in the working of alot of games that used innovation as their main selling point in the past, hopefully he'l be bringing the same kind of thing into runescape.

From experience i've noticed that around 15-20 prayer bonus makes prayer drain at around half speed, which makes any task that your praying on last twice as long. You have to remember to comprimise betwen kill speed and prayer bonus though, gear too much towards prayer bonus an you'l be killing too slow for it to be worthwhile.

I like to think im a bit of a meat lover. When my family has BBQ's, i'll only eat meat, no salad or anything else with it, just meat. When i go to a restaraunt the first thing i look for on the menu is steak. When i have a roast sunday lucnh, i'll have piles of meat, and only a handful of veg. Now if i could afford it i'd be eating steak, lamb, veal, mixed grills, chicken, not pork though, not a fan of pork, tastes a bit bland imo, everyday of the week. Now i can see why some people wouldn't eat meat, in alot of cases the animal, meat and the killing are all handles in a terrible fashon. But thats mainly if you go for the cheap stuff. I'm not opposed to paying an extra £1-2 for a chicken if i know it's had a better life than most before ending up on my plate.
