That depends on whether you talk to him or just use a bowl of stew with the tree. If you talk to him, he will notice the stew and give you 20 coins for it, but he will give you 30 coins if you use one on the tree he is in. He will eat multiple bowls of stew, you just have to wait for him to finish one before giving him another.

Seriously? I had no idea. Where and when did you discover this information? It is most likely how Jagex stores the number of coins you have. In JAVA, which runescape's code is based on, an integer goes to (2^31) -1.

Sounds like fun. Maybe there could be one special monster for each of the different drops (one for hat, one for pants, etc.) and have an item similar to the rune talismans give nonspecific hints as to the monster it is "attached" to is currently located, or maybe make a very small quest that gives you the monster talisman.

He seems to be a helper for low-level players, similar to the Lubridge Guide guy, or Donnie, or Hans. He yells out what kind of stores are in Al Kharid. There is also the possibility that he will be part of an upcoming quest or minigame, or something.

I too have noticed this. I have a level 76 account started in August of 2004 that has had at least 15 frogs, one maze and an uncoutable amount of mysterious old men. I recently started another account that has had Leo twice, the mime once, the frogs twice, and one uncut diamond from the mysterious old man, all in the last three months. I'm not sure whether it is considered a bug or not, iguess we will find out soon enough.

My first thought was that they will be similar to the Christmas event, where you have to go to a special place to paint a few eggs, as the behind the scenes says the local bunnies "aren't as clever as they are cute." After that, I have no idea, but I would love to see some new emotes, or a fun weapon like the rubber chicken (I realize they won't bring that back, I am just hoping or something similar), maybe throwing a few exra painted eggs that leave random colored spots on their character.

I gave up on IE a long time ago, so I don't know anything about that part of your question. What I do know is that with Mozilla, the NoScript extension blocks javascript and java programs, unless you tell it otherwise, which seems to include most ads. Are you, by chance, using NoScript?

Interesting idea :lol: While using a mechanical device to play technically isn't against the rules (and is impossible for Jagex to detect) I personally think that it kinda falls under "unethical" and as such do nothing like that. There is also the problem of actually being able to build such a device, mainly because it involves working to avoid work. In regards to the alch-ing trick, I have done the same thing for superheating steel bars and find nothing wrong with it.

I'm just curious as to why so many people flame others for saying they want more upgrade for f2p. Why not just calmly and rationally tell them exactly why not, instead of just yelling? I would not mind having f2p upgraded more often, but I also realize that Jagex is a company and their work goes to their money source. Go ahead, I've doused myself in gas here, flame away.....
