Agreed, while I must say I don't like the Lord of the Rings movies either, and you forgot the Last Samurai, and Braveheart and The Patriot. :P In fact I hate all (Gladiator is an exception, and I don't really hate Braveheart) those historic epic-like movies from the 90's.
I think Ghana can win from the U.S. Netherlands played pretty good btw. And damn, that Messi. He's like omg teh best player I've seen so far on the tournament.
L'Ivresse du pouvoir - Yesterday at the cinema. I wasted enough time for this boring movie, so I'm not going to spend more time writing something about it. 4/10
Last week it was over 30 degrees (celcius) here. But isntead of a dry heat we've got that pressing heat. I can't stand it. No airco in my room either btw. Sweating in bed, while you're only wearing a boxer and a thin sheet.
Bad Timing (1980 - Nicholas Roeg) - Excellent (crime)drama. Kind of went trough it on auto-pilot. Great zoom shots, brilliant editing work and very well written. Also the actors give a very good preformance (especially Theresa Russel). It's kind of overwhelming, I don't really know much to say about it, as it made quite a big impression. Hm. Just go and see it for yourself.
Oh, about Ronaldo. They should just send him home. He's out of shape and form and just too fat. He should keep the honour to himself and just stop. Same goes for Zidane, except he's not too fat but just too old.
Just finished watching LA RÃÆÃâÃâ¹Ã¢â¬Â GLE DU JEU which was very good. A recommendation for those who loved Altman's GOSFORD PARK. Very complex, rich comedy and social painting of France in the years between war. 8.5/10
