Sounds just like Runescape, but then with a science fiction theme. Instead of mining some coald and rune ore for a full rune armour you collect laser generators and jet engins to make your own spaceship. So that means it will take about ten times as much time to get your level. Sorry, this made me laugh, I think you can think of the reasons why it made me laugh, and I think that says enough. Your idea isn't really original, and apparantely it has been done before.

I don't think the FPS cam will be much of a success. Probably the biggest reason is that it has to be handheld, I don't see how it could be realistic otherwise. And constant action with handheld is very annoying and may cause cinema sickness. Also I don't think you have any interaction in the movie, where you do have that with the game, so I think it's kind of useless. Nice that they try it, it could be something of course. :)
