  1. What are they angry about these days?
  2. Electric Masada - Idalah-Abal
  3. I have loads of people with down syndrom as loyal customers, and they all work (very different jobs as well), so whoever says that they don't do anything else than sitting on their [wagon] all day: it's nonsense. Also, what about all the people who work in this field? What would happen to them if you exterminate all people with a handicap? Maybe you can throw them in the pit as well, since supporting all those workless people costs a lot. I realize you didn't say this, Sworddude, it's more aimed at whoeever said it. :)
  4. I saw Antonioni's "La Notte" it has a pretty sad ending.
  5. It's hard to say something about this list for me, since I haven't heard of like 75% of that list. I will try and listen to some of the metal things you've recommended.
  6. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - the Firstborn is Dead Which completes the nick cave studio albums. and.
  7. I don't think I would keep a kid like that (this probably sounds harsher that I mean it to sound, but hey, I'm not English). If somebody wants to keep that kid, I don't see why not. It's not my business, people should be free to decide what they want to do with it. What this has got to do with killing people that suffer from the down syndrome is beyond me.
  8. sixteen horsepower. http://www.last.fm/music/16+Horsepower
  9. #1 Beyond here lies nothin' This is the first track I hear, and it sounds very promosing. Good stuff.
  10. Went to see Bonnie 'Prince' Billy concert last thursday, it was incredibly good. He even did his R. Kelly cover of The Worlds Greatest, near the end of his show. Going to see Amsterdam for three days later this week for the London Calling festival, will see Miss Kitten and the Hacker there, and a lot British guitar groups, sunday I will go to Antony and the Johnsons and will go to Beirut on the 5th of may. :
  11. Yea, it's from Elvis, but this one is better known.
  12. Then you think this movie could have been made by somebody else? The day before yesterday I saw The Boat that rocked. It's about rock and roll radio in the sixties, from a pirate ship somewhere on the north sea (I think?). They do their best, but the movie kind of fails. Strange thing is that it is still kind of charming. But if you want a good drama-comedy that's taking place on a boat get The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou.
  13. You can say that again. :P Ecellent purchases!
  14. Yes, it's Metallica with an orchestra. Why should that get boring faster than a normal Metallica record? In my opinion it really gives the music something that it normally lacks. If Metallica is meant to sound flat or not doesn't mean much to me, it just doesn't sound good. Electric Masada - Tekufah
  15. I didn't mean anything with it, just a bad joke. I never really cared for Metallica, I listened to some things, but it always sounds so, I don't know, flat or something. I always had a thing for that gig they had with Michael Kamen, S&M.
  16. I always thought it was trash. I'm listening to that 1st symphonie by Alfred Schnittke again.
  17. the blind willie mctell cd from the obscure 167 disc jazz archive box. its kind of strange. When I put the cd in the computer it gives completly different song titles than that there are on the back of the record. :? #2 Experience blues (CD) #2 Dark Night Blues (Computer) there isn't one that's the same.
  18. [yt]a9W9u5z5NLM[/yt] I'm kind of revisiting my Late Night Tales album by Nouvelle Vague. It's incredible what an eye opener that record has been for me. This is such an incredible song. Everybody should try the Late Night Tales series. :) more info on late night tales
