Watching that movie once is enough for me, I know you have the first print Criterion edition that you spent a lot on but that doesn't mean you have to watch it :D . Makes me want to throw up just thinking about that movie... I think I watch it once a year. I learn to understand more of it everytime, and I'm actually starting to see the beauty of it now. :) I saw the second edition of the Criterion by the way. :P I do enjoy Reservoir Dogs and to some degree Kill Bill. But Jackie Brown is impossible to get through. If... is a movie by underseen Lindsay Anderson. It's about going against authority. Some light surrealistic touch here and there, and it's so lively. I love it. Thinking about it makes me want to see it again. Two other films I've seen by the same director are O Lucky Man! which is a sorty of sequal to If... (which I think is just as good) and the completely different kitchen sink drama This Sporting Life, which is very strong (I think you'd enjoy this one as well, Dan, but I don't know if it's been released in the UK). Rymdinvasion i Lappland (Terror in the Midnight Sun) Right...A Swedish-American King Kong from Outer Space movie with lots of skiing. Who could think that something like this could be made? It's pretty bad, there's not much good moments. The creature looked pretty good though, the close-ups were less impressive. I think Barbara Wilson naked behind a transparent shower curtain is probably the best moment of this flick. Still, I wasn't really bored with it, so I rate it 5.5 out of 10.
