  1. Who says the images can't add to the meaningfulness? :-s Nobody. You just said that you only want deep stories. It's not that strange that I read that the way I did. Yes, which mainly suck. Maybe none are just coming to mind, but I really can't think of something which I deemed as a "good movie" that had no story to it. Now I'm curious which ones you've seen.
  2. I thought this thread was about movies, not about books. I never said it was, did I? Well, if you only want deep and meaningfull stories you're obviously not very interested in the images. You do realize that with this tactic you're completely ignoring non-narrative film...
  3. I wonder if there's anybody on tip.it that knows the difference between underheard and underrated.
  4. I thought this thread was about movies, not about books.
  5. You never know these days. I only noticed Stalker, and Mirror. No Solaris man? I'm disappointed.. And ya, not many people would be interested in the 72 version. I'm sorry. I already had two Tarkovsky movies, and there's not that much space. I'd rather mention something different that I like just as much or even better. :) And you already promoted it, so no need to worry.

  7. Tarkovsky or Soderbergh? I'm on 80 now, it's really hard since there's so much I'm accidently leaving out. It's too hard, 90 now, but still no buster keaton or charles chaplin?? So many accidently left out, but I can't remove anything I've got so far.
  8. alright. the forum won't walk away of course. :) we'll wait.
  9. Don't know 1MA, still nothing posted. :P You can't help it though. Maybe you could PM your user one more time? If he or she doesn't respond you can choose somebody else if you like. :)

    Hardcore

Yea, stuff like this. [yt]F9z5cKGM2xU[/yt] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9z5cKGM2xU hehe, this one was amongst my favorites, funny that it's on youtube. It starts pretty slow and goes faster and harder as the track progresses, goes pretty fast at the end. [yt]J-uaoYNzRxU[/yt] Here are two classics. [yt]1l_hk0p5uko[/yt] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1l_hk0p5uko [yt]pZJOz3OBWDA[/yt] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZJOz3OBWDA
  11. I need to edit my top 100 for FOK forum anyway, so I might post a 'complete' list, if that's okay with you.
  12. Saw Roken is Dodelijk from France and Yuko from Belgium last saturday, wasn't too impressed by them. Yuko had a good drummer but their music was mostly boring, and they use of the weird instruments was so cliché. The cute girl was using a coffee grinder, how creative...Roken is Dodelijk was better, but they couldn't really grab my attention. Next concert will be St. Vincent on the 4th of July.

    Hardcore

Uh, this is about the dance version of hardcore, not the punk one. I used to listen to it a lot from my 10th till my 14th or something, after that the interest died.
  14. I like this one too. [yt]sHhVydgvuAc[/yt] She did a really good version of Nico's Janitor of Lunacy when I saw her a while ago, but I can't find it on youtube.
  15. best song cover ever, I wouldn't know. I really like this one, though. [yt]UTrgF7Dakvw[/yt]
  16. Mad Men seizoen 1 Mad Max trilogie RoboCop trilogie the Ribald Tales of Robin Hood Memories of Murder Natural Born Killers and some more stuff.
  17. You probably know this already, but they also released a lot of old solo stuff by Omar Rodriguez earlier this year. Might be cool for you to check out. :) If you haven't done that already of course. :P
