  1. I never listen to them, so i see no reason to mention them. sorry.
  2. How does super massive black hole pump you up? It's a good song, but I always need to laugh whenever i hear it.
  3. corny and cheesy aren't necessarily bad, though. You shouldn't limit yourself so much, what do you get out of it? absolutely nothing! Why would you want to be a cynical jerk? they're funny for five minutes and then it's "oh, there's that cynical jerk again, lets get out!".
  4. started the above song again! The burdens that you carry now Are not of your creation So let's not weep for their evil deeds But for their lack of imagination Today's the time for courage, babe Tomorrow can be for forgiving And if he touches you again with his stupid hands His life won't be worth living
  5. #8 Sweetheart come! Come over here, babe lt ain't that bad I don't claim to understand The troubles that you've had But the dogs you say they fed you to Lay their muzzles in your lap And the lions that they led you to Lie down and take a nap The ones you fear are wind and air And I love you without measure It seems we can be happy now Be it better late than never hm, wonderfull song! can't believe i would ever dance to this record. its going fairly well!
  6. #7 Oh my Lord Man, I'm loving this hangover. I wish I was always so loose as I am when I have hangover. I don't shame myself for anything! singing and dancing here in the room with the curtains open!
  7. You have a girlfriend? I thought you never left your basement. :D You can do some very nice things with a girlfriend and a basement, though.
  8. Why isn't trash creative? You didn't get any deeper by the way, you just repeated yourself. You've got absolutely nothing interesting to say. It's a shame you're taking yourself so seriously.
  9. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - No more shall we part #2 No more shall we part
  10. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Are you the one I've been waiting for?
  11. Cool, there are people who get it! :D I'll update the list of lists soon, and I'll see if I can make a list of people who want to voluntere, for if you're out of inspiration. :)
  12. St. Vincent - Actor After that great concert I decided to get the album.
  13. Posh hotel, nice. Programme for North Sea Jazz tomorrow: 16.00-17.15 John Zorn Filmworks 20.0021.15 Otomo Yoshihides New Jazz Ensemble 21.15-22.00 Anthony Braxton Diamond Curtain Wall Trio with Mary Halvorson and Taylor [garden tool] Bynum 22.00-23.15 John Zorn Cobra
  14. Huh, are you saying that Burn After Reading has a lack of A-List actors? I don't know, but Brad Pitt, George Clooney, John Malkovich, Tilda Swinton and Frances McDormand aren't anything else than A-list actors, right?
  15. Since when is Roger Ebert taken seriously?
  16. Yea, the Pompeii thing is really great. I love A Saucerful of Secrets and Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun there.
  17. Oh, I thought you said you put it on one because there was no better pink floyd album out there. :P I know the documentary, I've got it on DVD. :)
  18. Ok, cool. :) Still curious who 1MA's original pick was. And, hehe, is it me or is there still a surprising lack of Beatles, Stones, Eagles, Doors and whatnot?
  19. That's a pretty cool list you've got there. :) I'm going to check out David Ford, your description is interesting and so is the album cover. Can't say I agree on Dark Side of the Moon though (sorry, I had to say that thanks to your provoking comment. :P ), it sounds so thought trough, and overal suffers from a lack of emotion. There are couple of great tracks on it though, but song like Money really gets gets me out of the record. :)
  20. My collegue had to cry during the thing they held for him yesterday. :| It all goes a bit far, for me at least. All this adoration for this man, sure, he colored your childhood and stuff, but still? Crying about a dead celebrity. I don't know. I guess you shouldn't hold back your emotions, but it seems strange. sorry.
  21. hehe, probably the best working album cover of all time. hehe, I really like this one too. It's so funny, and energetic and really adorable. I mean, seeing this grown up man making such a jump from happiness, on a pink background it's just cute. An old favorite. We also need a cover with a mezmerizing man, and a red background that looks cooler than ever.
  22. I'm really looking forward to Public Enemies, the trailer looked fantastic. Mann is pretty great anyhow. Yesterday I went to Antwerp with my friend, to say good bye to him, because he's going to the Azores for 10 days. We saw Coraline which was pretty great, if you ask me. Normally those Burtonesque animations annoy the hell out of me, but this one had its heart on the right place. I really liked that this one goes a bit against the "live your dream" that gets advocated so much in animation movies. After Coraline we decided to watch another movie, we wanted Transformers 2 (I wanted to see it again!), but I thought it was too long so we saw Drag me to Hell which was pretty great. Lot's of laughs, and a lot of scares. Damn, those scares uh? You know they're coming, you sit back in your chair, relaxing, thinking you're smarter than the scare, and then suddendly it comes. BOOM, it gets you, and you're against the ceiling again with all your hair standing up. There's nothing you can do. I even gave a little scream. [hide=]I would've liked it better with a happy ending though, I'm really a forgiving guy, and seeing this happening to Alison and her boyfriend really hits me[/hide], but yea, nothing you can do uh?
