  3. Marianne Faithfull and Antony (Hegarty) - Ooh baby baby
  4. Ah, shut up. I've had a kind of coldplay phase, never been a big fan though. Their last album is pretty good, a lot better than X&Y, which was impossible to get trough.
  5. Living, Sorbet 3, Bedsitters, Audition. I pulled my Zwartjes DVD out of the shelves again, and it's a succes every time I see his films. They are perfect on the technical, my mouth drops open every time I see Living. Strange, ugly, sexy, scary are some words that come to mind after watching his movies, but above all they are really beautifull. Those interested in experimental cinema should really see his film.
  6. Talking Heads - Born Under Punches taaaaaaake alookatthesehaaaands!
  7. Scott Walker - the Old Man's Back Again Oh, I love that bass. Scott, what a hero.
  8. What the hell is wrong with you? Six Organs of Admittance - Spirits Abandoned
  9. I've seen a couple of movies today, three to be precies. Phenomena Which was a pretty good Argento, too bad that all the heavy metal music didn't really fit in. Anna, quel particolare piacere Italian gangster movie, it's kind of strange. It's hard to judge, it's really something I've never seen before. The highlight of my day was something else...It was Samuel Fuller's White Dog And it makes you think why movies like Crash are being hailed so much. That sentimental crap doesn't do anything. It just fires things at you. This movie is very clear, it gives you something to think about because Fuller decides to leave things out and go to the root of the evil. You wonder why such a good movie like this has been banned for such a long time. It's great that criterion finally brought back this controversial movie. Highly recommended!
  10. yesyesyesyes! I'm going to seee Bob Dylan next year!
  11. I read something about this show a while ago, and it sounded really good. I talked about it with my collegue, she didn't like it too much. it wasn't as interesting as the cover makes it out to be. I think I'll take a t.v. serie sampler with me tomorrow, it has got the first episode of this show on it. I also really like Michael C. Hall, who plays dexter. I think he's really good in Six Feet under.
  12. Good. :) Scott Walker - 3 #1 It's raining today Hmm. I've got the house for myself tonight, and then it's time to play some music. :) Second Scott Walker record of the evening, I love his voice, and his music. It's this kind of romantic sixties music, but it's got a really strange, dark vibe to it. Something isn't quite right. That's what makes it so good.
  13. :) You liked Miss Kittin? Liquorice - Listening Cap #2 Team Player
  14. Oh, I heard it a few times and I loved the album.
  15. brr, those nudes are creepy. What have you learned?
  16. Interstellar Overdrive is also a favorite of mine, just as the national anthem by radiohead.
  17. It's kind of cute. I bet he just turned fourteen.
  18. best, best. I don't know. I really like the gumbo variations by Zappa. But that's just jazz/fusion. There's so many other types of instrumental music and all of them have got so many good things that it is imposible to say which one is 'the best'.
  19. Fanfan la Tulipe When I first saw this movie coming up in the criterion announcements I knew this was a movie for me. One of the little movies that are a bit outside the field of the usual criterion movies. It is such a well made movie, every single shot or camera movement has got a meaning and does something for the film. This made me enjoy this movie so much already, but there's also the great (sexual) jokes, the good looking women, the great action. I really loved it. It's a shame that they didn't shoot it in color though, Technicolor would've made it even better. Recommended, especially for the fans of the classic swashbuckler.
