Haha, Rick Ashtley, haha. so funny... Another part I love. It's the chorus from Tom Waits' Tango till they're sore. Let me fall out the window With confetti in my hair Deal out jacks or better On a blanket by the stairs I'll tell you all my secrets But I lie about my past So send me off to bed forever more.

Uh, isn't that by the verve? Or are you listening to some b-side/live recording?

I thought 2008 was pretty good. There's so much that it's hard to choose, and then there's so much I don't know of! Anyway, things that I liked (a lot). Sun Kil Moon - April Calexico - Carried to Dust Bob Dylan - Bootleg Series vol. 8: Tell Tale Signs Vampire Weekend - Vampire Weekend Surivlaams! 60 Nederlandstalige Tophits Uit België en Suriname - A compilation record of songs from Surinam and Flanders, the two have got nothing to do with eachothers, except that the language is 'Dutch'. There's some of the classics, but most of the things is really good and very hard to find. Especially the Belgian songs are great, the songs from Surinam are hilarious, in a good way of course! Marianne Faithfull - Easy Come, Easy Go Grace Jones - Hurricane Matt Elliott - Howling Songs Bonnie 'Prince' Billy - Lie Down in the Light Amanda Palmer - Who Killed Amanda Palmer Auteur Labels: Les Disques du Crepuscule Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!! Sigur Rós - Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust Katy Perry - One of the Boys the Last Shadow Puppetrs - the Age of the Understatement Autechre - Quaristice Coldplay - Viva la Vida... Santogold - Santogold UNKLE - End Tites...Stories for film Hot Chip - Made in the Dark Ice Cube - Raw Footage Portishead - Third Brian Eno & David Byrne - Everything That Happens Will Happen Today Klaus Schulze & Lisa Gerrard - Farscape Ane Brun - Changing of the Seasons Ry Cooder - I, Flathead Baltic Fleet - Baltic Fleet T.V. on the Radio - Dear Science Fleet Foxes - Fleet Foxes zZz - Running with the Beast The new Britney Spears album is coming out soon as well, wonder how that is going to sound. The last one was quite alright. And Kanye West is going to release a record as well, but isn't that fully done with autotune? :? What was there that I thought was dissapointing? Maybe the last Tricky album? Maybe Jamie Lidell with Jim? I didn't really like Accelerate, but I'm not much of an R.E.M. man in general so...Thing that I really can't stand: the Eagles, and their last album is impossible to get trough. If you want to torture me, play this one. Most overrated record of the year: Amy MacDonald - This is the Life. She's good looking though.

Hello Hello everybody. We're close to december, and that's the month for lists of course! What's your favorite, what's your least, what dissapointed you and what surprised you? Tell us all about it! For other people like Dragonsoon: the year 2008 goes from january 1st 2008 untill december 31 2008. So, not from december 2007 till january 2009 or something.

but then the Dutch version without Skammen. But that's not a problem, since I already had that movie. It was nicely priced for only 7.50

Not a special favorite or something, but I just happen to listen to a song which lyrics are pretty good, in my opinion. Here is the English translation, but it just sounds so much better in German. [hide=Nagorny Karabach in English]The town lies under mist I am up on my mountain in my black garden squeezed in between the heavens in the enclave of my choice where I am hiding in Nagorny Karabakh Once deep forests mountain chains, maybe ice a brass-yellow sun perpetrates a paradise my sys- or diastole and between them the moment borne by the birds about their business here in the enclave of my heart where I lose myself in Nagorny Karabakh I climb down the mountain enter one or another valley flying flags of every colour in Mount Karabakh Two large black ravens devouring the plums in the tree I wonder if the other city cares for me In the enclave of my choice where I am hiding in Nagorny Karabakh Come and pay me a visit I have unlimited time and the view is most lovely over the clouds and the town in Nagorny Karabakh Nagorny Karabakh Nagorny Karabakh[/hide] You can listen to the song here

They're pretty good. I don't play their CD's much though, but when I saw them live last year it was one of the best gigs I've ever been too. What a party!

Aguirre der Zorn Gottes I love it. The opening scene is just so good, with the music of Popol Vuh and the images of the landscape go together perfectly! Kinski is brilliant in this movie, he's so unpredictable (just like he was in real life).

Hey Indie, I see you're a Kevin Smith fan. Have you seen the earlier movies made by Richard Linklater? If you enjoy the Smith movies you might enjoy stuff like Slacker, Dazed & Confused and SubUrbia! ;)

the New York Ripper There's some very gruesome murdering in this Fulci classic. Loads of good looking wiminz as well. Too bad that all the nudity makes it less interesting. Normaly the giallo is so stylish with all the good looking woman, the lack of nudity makes it so sexy. This one just has "Brutal f*cking murder!", but it's great at that. Suspiria Without a doubt the scariest horror movie ever made. After the movie I went to the toilet, the door made noise as usual, but this time it made me very nervous. 10/10 Auch zwerge haben klein angefangen Two 10/10 movies on one night. How is it possible? I think I've never seen a movie as deranged as this one. Herzog couldn't have had a very positive image of mankind while shooting this movie. Herzog at his best! Unforgetable. 10/10

John Zorn - Spillane Wow!

If you like Sun Kil Moon, you might want try out Spain (if you don't know them already of course). It is a band with a smiliar sound to that of Sun Kil Moon. She haunts my dreams and the Blue moods of Spain are two records that you could give a try. : OT: John Zorn - Godard
