  1. Saul Williams - Black History Followed by Convict Colony
  2. Becase a men has to put the bread on the table. And the woman only needs to lay the table.
  3. Yea, and local underground metal band would really fit as opener for a stadium concert held by one the greatest pop-bands to ever walk this earth. Come on.
  4. 2 weeks ago I saw Editors, wich was very good. Last week I went to Terragotha, which was 'okay', not really my thing though. 13 november: Arcade Fire 23 november: Interpol 14 march 2008: The Cure
  5. Ridley Scott. Must see, of course. It's going to be fantastic and I can't wait to see it.
  6. Almost done with Nick Drake's Pink Moon. And the storm just started, so after this one I'm gonna crawl up to my room and listen Tom Waits' Blue Valentine before I got to go from home.
  7. You should PM Phil, or Dan (lateralus). They're from Scotland. So is Onemanarmy if I'm not mistaken.
  8. Tie him up, peel little pieces of skin from him and sprinkle some salt in the wounds. After you've done that, keep him tied up and roll him trough the olive oil, throw him in the desert and let him rot. What an annoying little bastard.
  9. Yea, he's one of the best. It's such a shame that something like The New World was so poorly marketed, and that he isn't very productive, but maybe then his movies wouldn't be so good. Good that's he working on something though.
  10. Come on, hugging. That was popular in the thirties. Then in the sixties came the beatles with "i wanna hold your hand", the nineties had Nine Inch Nails with "I wanna F*ck you like an animal!". And that was 13 years ago.
  11. Yea, what's up with those book readers. Hillarious topic title. But yea, I'm kind of wondering why they feel so high and mighty too. it's a shame, that the movies are so underrated compared to writing and painting. Ah, well. The movies are relatively new, so it'll come after some time. Give it another 100 years or so, and we'll give those dirty, stinking little readers the finger. With their phoney attitude.
  12. Have you heard their last album btw, Rob? If so, how is it?
  13. You don't think it would be 'okay' if he took people who do understand 'The system', right? I hope at least. He shouldn't take justice into his own hands, weither somebody deserves it or not. Young, old. It's not his, or anybodys (for that matter), place to do such things. And it's always sad when thins like this happen. Weither it's in America or Europe. I hope the shooter gets trough the condition that he is now. And otherwise I hope that he may rest in peace. Just like the people he took the lives off.
  14. I'm having Jambon du Bubsa sandwich for lunch tomorrow.
  15. Oh, if I have normal tea I have a little bit of sugar in it. Nothing in it with the red bush.
  16. Tea isn't really my cup of tea hahahahahooohahahahaahihihihahahaha, :| I'm more of a coffee man. Although there is one tea that I really like. Rooibos Tea, but I don't know how you call it in English. Oh, Red Bush in English.
  17. Take a quick nap, a cup of coffee and you'll feel a lot better. Since when are people bragging about the amount of Red Bull they can handle.
  18. It looked smooth. Bubsa has the kind of [wagon] I'd like to put my teeth in. 8-)
  19. Thanks, babe. I'm afraid it's not possible to pay you in pound sterling. But because it's you I'll add some kisses to it. Where'd you like 'm?
  20. Right. It's a novel and there are various movies made of it. I've seen Ossesione and the '46 movie. But what does the title mean?? I haven't read the book. But could somebody please explain. We kind of lost about it at work and it's really frustrating. My collegue THINKS it's something like when something happened in a bad way it means something like "it doesn't really matter", and I was THINKING more something like "You'll get a second chance in life" when something bad happens. Now that I type it I realize that they're pretty close to eachother. But yea, could somebody deliver us from this. Thanks a lot. And a hug from me and my collegue Vincent if you educate us.
  21. I think I'm in love. I've seen Days of Heaven again. And it really is true love. It was even better the second time. It has that special thing. Just like Sunrise, Banshun, Werckmeister Harmoniak, Nobi, Zerkalo, Once Upon a Time in the West, Nattvardgasterna, Francesco Giullare di Dio and all those others. Must see. Yesterday I also saw The Night of the Iguana wich was as expected very good. Not as good as Under the Volcano though, but still exceptionally well made. Everything on location and so. I'm rediscovering John Huston. Tonight I went to friends and saw You, me and Dupree again. And I must say that I loved it the second time as well. It really is a fantastic movie. Such great laughs, and a tear at the end. A Hollywood classic already, now if only more people realized it at this point in time.
  22. They're from some website. So I don't know if they're completely correct. But it's close enough. The real Jehova has lost it now. 23. Jigoku Hm. I had expected some more from this. It's a bit boring. The last 40 minutes were alright, but that was purely the looks. I didn't really care about anything. The score was alright. Better luck next time, I guess.
  24. Yea, I got into them a year or three ago I think. And I've got Those who tell the truth and the earth is not a cold dead place. I haven't listened to their other stuff, but I really like it. I don't listen to it much though, got to have the right moment. I would've gone to see them earlier this year, but I couldn't get anybody to go with me in the end.
  25. Days of Heaven Undescriable. This is a movie of a rare quality. The way it looks, the locations, the nature, the music, everything told from the view of Linda with her amazing voice. It all adds to the magic, and it works so incredibly well. Perfect, and nothing less. Right into my top 20. And I can happily recommend the amazing dvd released by Criterion last month.
