  1. I got into them when I started metalling up my music taste  Not my thing, sorry. But I just wanted everybody to know that I had to laugh at that.
  2. Shame that everybody is suffering so much from the people around them. Here we hardly have that. And if it's there it hardly spoils the experience for me. :o No matter how big your plasma screen is, or how good your sound set. Cinema is always best. :)
  3. Yea, it's quiete rough at some points. I love it when they're showing those classics again. December is going to be a wonderfull month. First I'm going to Delft, because they're showing Murnau's Nosferatu with live piano music. And two weeks alter....Billy Wilder's WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION in cinema. *dances* Oh, and it's fantastic that you're going to see Lubtisch in cinema. I'm still sad that I couldn't go see Ninotchka in cinema, when it played two months ago. :x
  4. Indeed! And when you're going to the matin̮̩̉̉e you walk out of the cinema, and then you've got that bright light shining in your face. That makes it even better. Or if you go in the evening you go to the caf̮̩̉̉ after the movie, have a drink and discuss the movie. Now where is the charm in watching a movie at home on DVD, then turn of the player and have a drink at home. Instead of a brown caf̮̩̉̉.
  5. Of course. Movies are made for the big screen, not for a t.v., Computer, an I-pod or a PSP. Especially those last two annoy me a lot. For example: on DVD I recognize that the Apartment is a good movie, and I enjoy it a lot. But when I saw it in cinema it moved me a lot and it had a far greater impact on me. Also, when you're watching a movie at home it's more likely that you'll be distracted. You pause for going to the toilet, you pause for getting something to eat, you pause for taking the telephine etc. And at the cinema, you're in a completely dark room fully concentrating on and losing your self in what is happening on that huge screen.
  6. Playing Arcade Fire's first album Funeral. It's strange, so many people hail FUNERAL. but for some reason I can't get into it. Neon Bible on the other hand. Concert tonight.
  7. I remember seeing pictures of Sunli in the post a picture of yourself thread a long time ago. I also remember being banned by Sunli because I didn't like one guy's pixel signature. He was that very famous one that used to make 'm for like three mille. And he only took orders two times a year or something. I also said that he was an arrogant idiot. Can you believe it, somebody being banned for calling somebody an arrogant idiot and not liking the signature he made. I also remember the fight with Bubsa over Robbie Williams and Frank Sinatra, but that was on the new forum. And Chris postin that 'I love God...In the ***" picture was brilliant.
  8. You're joking, right? :)
  9. The name of this band is TALKING HEADS 07. The Book I Read

A goodlooking woman that could keep me company when I'm lonely.
  11. pre-order. And, this is DVD 972. I'm close to a 1000. Celebrations.
  12. Iceland, or Australia. But main choice would be Iceland. Hey, cool. Iceland mentioned 2 times in a row.
  13. Do I see somebody listening to Nickelback.
  14. Usually not much. Only when I'm making a topic, well, most of them anyway. But most topics here aren't worth so much effort. They're all about politics, which isn't very interesting. Tip.it's Off Topic forum, always the same; people come, people go. Nothing ever happens.
  15. The Spirit of St. Louis - An epic by Billy Wilder. De wonderen zijn de wereld nog niet uit. It's a bit of a weird thing really. I enjoyed watching it, and I thought Stewart gave a good preformance. But it wasn't what I expected it to be. I hoped for some more Wilder, so I guess that in that way I'm a bit dissapointed. Still worth watching though. Especially if you enjoy movies like The Shawshank Redemption. The Stratton Story Yea, uh. Nice, I guess. It's a bit sweet, sometimes you feel a bit like an idiot, nearly 60 years after it's made, but alright. I kind of got trough it on the automatic pilot. It didn't do much to me, but I kept watching and at the end of the movie I decided it was okay. Inspirational for hard-core Disney freaks maybe, but not for me. I haven't got anything better to say, sorry. Oh, Sumpta, you've seen it in cinema? Cool. Snorting isn't that bad though. Giving tears during The Apartment when you're the only 20er in cinema next to all those 65+ people is even stranger. :P Especially when it doesn't do them anything. :D
  16. Yea, a single case. And I'm sure that there are a dozen others. But it's not like black people are the only ones being murdered on a regular basis because of a racial motivation. In this generation.
  17. :wtc:  :wtc: How could I forget the only real Scot on the forum. Sorry.
  18. Neither were the black people of this generation. And Matt, a [racist term] is also a butterfly, and there only few things as beautiful as a butterfly. :P Not to justify anything of course. It isn't a nice word and people shouldn't call other people that way. Maybe I think that it doesn't matter much anymore because we don't get much of it here in Holland.
  19. Here in Holland we had Fictionplane opening for them. I though they would do most of the tour.
  20. I don't really see what the fuss is about. All those rappers constantly use the word, and now Nas uses it as the title for his album, and suddendly it's a bad thing to do. The word doesn't do anything to me. But maybe that's because I'm not black. But then again, I wouldn't care if somebody called me a cracker either. Weird that n*gger is censored and cracker isn't though. :P
  21. "New album by Timbaland" It got released in february or something. Anyway, beats are alright.
