You are allowed to use real life pictures, as long you don't see any persons in it, and you are not trying to be rude. E.g: you can use a picture of a beautiful mountain lake, but you can't use a picture of a dead politician. Just use common sense and you'll be fine.

To be honest, the Grand Exchange never been a hindrance. The trade limit was the thing that made people hate the GE. Nothing would have been wrong with it, if there was no trade limit.
