  1. So, I went to Cave Horrors for slayer. I was tasked with killing 146 of them. I wore my ring of wealth, hoping to improve my chances on black mask drops. Well, 10 kills into my task I noticed something was wrong: NOTE: I did not filter any text.
  2. If anything, things like this just imply that the game is getting healthier. With many of the bots gone, there are fewer obstacles to new F2P players. Hopefully this lawsuit will help new players come into the game and revitalize it.
  3. Try the moonclan clothes. Not lunar armor, the moonclan clothes. They are tan with patches of green all over. They match the WC cape perfectly.
  4. Based on the last picture there, I guess we will finally be able to figure out who that guy on the main page is.
  5. Interesting. But this makes me wonder how Jagex decides what to list as requirements for a quest. As is, their system is a little ineffective. Take for example "The Void Stares Back". This quest has the requirements of "A Void Dance" plus "Wolf Whistle" and others. If we look at the requirements of "A Void Dance", we see that it requires "Wolf Whistle" and more. For "The Void Stares Back", if you were to list all of its quest requirements, along with all of the quest requirements of the quests it requires, "Wolf Whistle" would be on their twice. Why would they bother re-listing requirements like that? However, "Quiet Before the Swam" is a requirement for both quests but only listed for "A Void Dance". Odd how they are inconsistent.
  6. With all the people who can't get in today, think what it would have been like had they released yesterday and not done some bug fixes.
  7. Not Vanstrom, Count Draynor: http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2monster_id=26
  8. Just thought I'd mention. One of the bots people were talking about here, aka RiD, has their forums and part of their site currently down. Is this just a coincidence or did Jagex release a real-world, lawyer nuke against them at the same time to get the site taken down?
  9. The second and third new pictures are taken in the wilderness. In this first picture there's a 'Level:12' message in the top left and the third picture is clearly next to red dragon isle. The haunted woods is IN the wilderness. The haunted woods is also close to the very top of the chaos altar which is level 12/13. Sorry, but you are wrong about the third picture. You can clearly tell its the area where the lessers are by the clan wars by the clan wars portal sign on the map and the two nature rune spawns on the island. Actually, the Haunted Woods is East of Canifis proof: Source: Tip.it world map
  10. I see that you are redoing the guide and have not yet gotten to kandarin but I found one there in case you do not have it yet: This is just north of the Thormac's tower between Seer's village and ardougne This is one you missed in the "Fremennick Area" This is just South-East of sinclair mansion The final compass location is one that was missed in the Wilderness section Level 19 Wilderness just south of the graveyard and just north of the teleporter Finally, I found one orb scan that was missing from the whitewolf mountain section I would describe this as "On top of the mountain, just before going down the ladder to the ice queen". This is decidedly different from ones currently there
  11. Also, another note that was not brought up here, the reward exp can be banked
  12. I loved them too. I kept killing the green dragon botters named sheng0e(number). There were a dozen of that with all the same prefix but a different number. Suddenly I got pked by the owner of them stating I should leave his bots alone... Bye bye d claws lol (Before people start trolling I suck at pk, YES: I SUCK AT PK. I never pk'ed a person before, I just like screwing with the bots and stealing their gear/bones...) I am going to complain that the dragon bots are actually too weak to abuse. My friend and I kill them for loots on a nightly basis. Last night we had an idea, we each killed one about to return to the bank so we had a full inventory of hides/bones. Then one person lured them all onto the teleporter while the other waited in level 50 wild. Once they were on the tele, we hopped them around until they all reached level 50 wild. At which point we dropped dragon parts luring them to the chaos elemental, hoping that they would kill it for us and we could get Vesta chain or something. At one point we lured 15 or so bots to the elemental. And by the time they had all died the elemental had only taken 1/5 hp damage. Now we need to think of a new way to abuse the bots....
  13. I heard from the RSOF, so feel free to not believe it, that Paul said the reason the Mahjarrat all appeared to be level 250 was because after touching the Stone of Jas, your stats were boosted and this is their relative level to your new enhanced level. No QFC, did not care to mark it at the time. Tenuous I know, but one possible explanation.
  14. Welcome to Tip.it. The entire point of Runescape is you can do whatever you want, whenever you want. Personally, I find it fun to do quests and gain the skill levels required for quests. If I don't me a requirement for a quest I will train that skill until I do. Only quest I have left now is Nomad. I find that the task system is great for learning about the many different aspects of the game but it only scratches the surface of what you can do. I think you should keep at the task system, try a few quests, attempt every skill, until you find something that you really enjoy. Once you find your on little thing, nurture it until you are a master. I know lots of other people, mostly other members like myself, like to do dungeneering or boss hunting. I have been wanting to get into boss hunting for a while as it looks fun, I just haven't made much of an effort to find a group yet. tl;dr: Train what you love.
  15. I'm level 86 thieving with ardouge cloak 3. Whenever I want a court case I spend 15 minutes with knights and will usually get one. Normally get it in the first 50 or so pickpockets.
  16. My favorite was actually Cabin Fever. I remember doing it the day it first came out. It was a lot of fun and I was sure they were going to make it into a minigame. Sure it was a little short, but I had a blast.
  17. I saw the kalphite worker drop had uncut dragonstone as an unconfirmed. Well I just got one. Hope this helps ;)
  18. Delivered. Not really my thing but hey, there you go *Hope this is not inappropriate*
  19. Do you use Jennica's Ring, ROW, or something else when fighting Revs? Because you are extremely lucky.
  20. [hide] [/hide] According to your music, your house is rather dirty. Might want to spend money on that. The picture makes it look alright but... Grats
  21. Was that an updated evil tree? I don't do it enough to know. Or were they mearly trying to say that they are updating more areas of the world with those lovely trees?
  22. Well, I did smoking kills a long while ago and never got around to doing much slaying since then. I was going to pick it back up and wanted to have the slayer helm good and ready. I already have a few black masks, just not the ability to combine them.
  23. Silly me. The points start kicking in at five. My mistake. Still, my question holds.
  24. First, this is not about the fastest way to get slayer exp, I want to know the fastest way to get slayer reward points. I know the basics about don't Burthorpe anything, 5 and 10 task sprees give bonuses etc. My main question is, is it faster to get points doing Mazchna tasks quickly and getting 1 point per task or should I take more time and do the longer and harder ones assigned by Duradel (I can't get to Kuradel yet)? Or would it be best to do some sort of hybrid like Mazchna for tasks 1-4 and Duradel for 5's etc? What do you think?
