I was supposed to play a gig for some organization my friend's girlfriend was in...only to get there and be told we weren't needed. While that sucked, I ended up reconnecting with an old friend afterwards and going to a Frontier Ruckus concert (they're an amazing local indie folk band, check them out if you're into that), which put a nice spin on the night. Now I'm just relaxing in my dorm for the rest of the night and getting it ready for my five friends that are coming up to visit tomorrow; should be a pretty good time haha.

Hey, this isn't completely true. Like, maybe recently it has, but I used to come here for a lot of advice. I used to be quite terrible about getting myself friendzoned (hell, I saw some quote about it in somebody's signature once). While I admittedly still have not been in a relationship/done anything remotely sexual in the past yearish since I've stopped posting about every girl I meet here, I at least have made enough progress that I attract girls now; there have been about three since this schoolyear started but I didn't pursue any of them because of distance/age gap (I'm in college, they were all still in high school at my hometown and a long-distance relationship seems kind of pointless to me). Still, thats a definite improvement from where I was prior to this thread, and I definitely learned a lot about motivation and self-improvement from here. Advice from here has really helped me increase my confidence overall, and this drive for self-improvement led to me learning a lot more about fashion, starting to lift, and just trying to be more approachable and better at flirting in general. So like, this thread's advice isn't completely useless. I'm sure there are other people like me here that it has helped; it just takes a long time to put some of this into motion. I'm sure I could have more success/things to talk about here if finding a girl was actually a priority for me currently, but it's taking a backseat to my self-improvement at this point and I am completely satisfied with that for the time being.

Today I had a fairly easy math exam, then realized how hellish these next two weeks will be as I have a physics test, an orchestra concert, a programming project, and an anthropology essay all due within a 24 hour window next friday. At least I realized it now I suppose but I am utterly not looking forward to finishing all of this.

Well with that kind of attitude you weren't exactly bound for success dude. What happened? Is this the same girl you said was "unseduceable" before or was this another one? But rejections happen man, plenty of perfectly attractive people still get rejected. Just learn from whatever went wrong and try to improve on it next time.

I go to one of the top universities in my country and I have friends here that don't know how to play chess lol. Intelligence doesn't determine your hobbies, and someone who doesn't play chess likely has no reason to know who the greatest chess player is. Hell, the only reason I recognized that name was because of some ps1 game I had as a kid called "Virtual Kasparov". Today I found out that my schedule isn't working out nearly as nicely as I wanted to. I'm trying to do what's called an international minor here, which is a minor for engineers that involves 4 semesters of a language and 10 credits of classes focusing on other cultures. I was intending on taking a series of accelerated language courses, which are 8 credits each but count as two semesters of a language a semester, and then going to Germany for part of the summer after my sophomore year (going abroad is another requirement for the minor). However, today they released the course times for all the classes offered next semester, and the 8 credit course only has 5 spots open and is from 10-11 and 1-2 4 days a week, which pretty much screws up any other attempt at scheduling due to that awkward gap in between. I have to decide between letting my schedule go down the shitter or just starting the normal german track in the fall and only having two semesters done by the time I go to Germany. Right now I'm leaning towards the latter one; I don't want to put off the Germany trip until the summer after junior year because I want to try getting an internship that summer... bleh.

No need to be so hostile dude, it was just a question. Hugging is really commonplace here, so I doubt those girls knew they were giving you those kinds of signals when they were doing that. It's just a common friendly greeting for us, lol. Just a cultural difference.

I haven't listened to the new The Story So Far album yet, I can't pirate things when I'm up at school and I like to hold off downloading things until higher quality rips come out anyways. It finally comes out today though so I'm sure I'll be all over it on Spotify today though, haha. And the Fall Out Boy song is called "The Phoenix". The verses are well done with some Thnks Fr th Mmrs-esque strings parts and some fantastic vocal work, but the chorus and lyrics are just cringeworthy. I personally liked the last single quite a bit but I'm hoping this new song isn't indicative of the whole thing's quality.

Just got out of acing a programming exam, but aside from that today hasn't really been too eventful. Oh, and the new Fall Out Boy song that came out today was disappointing, but the new Wonder Years song is amazing enough to make up for it tenfold.

I've never sang in a choir, but I have had vocal training. I'm a baritone, but I can sing tenor as well. I've only really sang for musicals at my old high school, I really miss getting to do that so often though. Today has probably been my laziest day in a long time. Haven't really done anything except watch a friend's choir concert up here and head to the gym; I've at least started making progess on the latter again though. I have a programming exam tomorrow that I probably should study for but it's so hard not to procrastinate. Meh.

How is it 60% alc and 105 proof? 1 proof = .5% alcohol lol. And 105 really isnt *that* strong compared to some other stuff out there, like Bacardi 151 can still even be drank straight. But hey it's your drink, enjoy it how you want haha.

Haha, I know all of those bands but they are far from anything I'd want to see live anymore. That whole scene grew off me a lot after high school. Today was a pretty good day though. I came back home for the day for a job interview at a Boston Market for a summer job, and for my first job interview I feel like it went fairly well. I also dropped off an application at a Verizon store a family friend owns, so I'll see how all this turns out I guess. After that I had chinese with my best friend and had a party with my friends that were still around. Overall a pretty great night, haha.

Yeah, after hearing about all the evolution of combat stuff I tried making another account just to see what was different - EoCscape is completely unrecognizable from the runescape I grew up with. Maybe it is more modern, but there's no way I can be bothered with trying to figure any of it out. Not that I've touched the other one in about 500 days either though, lol.

The strongest I've had is Bacardi 151, which can still be drank straight even though it just tastes like death. My friend is getting some 180 proof Everclear over the summer though. I'm both interested and frightened. Today my school released class times for next semester, and my schedule is looking pretty amazing. 16 credits, class 10-11 and 12-1:30 every day (except 12-2:30 on mondays and no class after 11 on fridays). I almost think I did something wrong because it worked out so well.

Well, today I successfully got my backpack back. Had to drive out to the bus garage at 6:30 am, but didn't have too many issues getting it and was back in time to get a bit more sleep before class yet. Nothing was stolen and as far as I know nobody saw the rum bottle in there, so everything's good. On top of that, I got called back for my first job interview today at a Boston Market near my house. It's kind of exciting, even though it's just a minimum wage food service summer job. But, main point is, it'll give me extra money this summer and something productive to do. They also don't drug test, which is a plus, haha. Hopefully it'll work out, the interview is on Friday. I just have to figure out what to wear now because I'm clueless about this stuff, heh. Oh, and I finished season four of Breaking Bad today. God that show is amazing, but I have no clue why they made a fifth season after how well the fourth one ended.

I don't think I'll ever understand drunk posting; when I'm in that state the last thing I'm normally doing is touching a computer. Needless to say, St. Patrick's Day weekend was pretty fantastic, but I kind of burnt myself out these last three nights so I tried staying in today to get work done...only to watch six episodes of Breaking Bad instead. God this show is too good. Hopefully I can still get at least some of my work done tonight though.

Yeah, my friends wouldn't let me stay at any of their dorms and I've never had a problem with the bus before, and I've been on there in MUCH worse condition than I was last night. But whatever, at least a bus driver found it. I just hope I can get it back before my physics class on Monday... Haven't had any luck getting a hold of the lost and found today so I guess I'll have to try Monday morning, as much as that will suck. Oh, and the new Justin Timberlake album is unfairly awesome.

Nah, french silk pie dominates everything else mentioned. Last night I left my backpack on a university bus at 2:30 am while drunk and high. I know I'll get it back, but I''m concerned because I don't know if it will get searched because there is an empty bottle of alcohol in it, and I'm under age here. Would they be allowed to search that, and is it illegal for me to possess an empty alcohol bottle even if there is no other alcohol in my dorm/system?

Last night ended up being the perfect end to my spring break. Party went pretty awesomely, then I hung out with my best friend and some other friends I haven't seen in a while. Didn't end up getting back home til 7 am, Now I'm back at my dorm relaxing and enjoying how beautiful this night is. I'm so not looking forward to having to start going to class again though...

Already have, and it was beautiful. Just had chinese for lunch with an old friend, now time to watch more Breaking Bad until I have to pick more friends up for a party later. Life is good.
