  1. This is easily one of the best stories i've read on the tip.it forums. Well written and detailed, I almost felt like I was there myself. Great job. =D>
  2. Well, it took me around 4-5 hours to get mine, using a ring of wealth. I think it is safe to say they are quite rare, however there will always be people who luck out on rare drops.
  3. The 10 is how many charges it has left. They are used randomly, and when they go off your opponents defence is lowered from 3-10. There is no way to re-charge them.
  4. Black masks are quite worth it. Using mine it easily bumps up my max hit around 3 or 4 and i hit noticably more often. Took me about three hours to get mine. An another note, I found a pretty good place to kill cave horrors, not only does it have many in the same general area, but it is also easy to hally/mage/range them.
  5. Icefeinds eh? I didn't realy see that some coming, I almost forgot about them lol. I am also surprised it isn't listed in the Kb.
  6. I think it is distincly possible for this new form of magic to be summoning. The small description we got from the behind the sences stated that it would help with mundane tasks. When you summon something, it does your bidding, and this could be described as tasks. Afterall, remember that "We are also adding some other smaller features to the game later this month, such as clockwork toys for your cats, teleportation tablets, making your own cups of tea and even chairs you can sit down in. " turned out to be the construction skill, even though it said "small features". And I think it also makes sence for summoning to have its own spellbook. So I guess anything is possible.
  7. I'll have to say melee.
  8. Well, gratz to you guys on a (semi) sucesseful trip =D> Seeing all of these stories/vids of dagannoth king hunting is making me want get off my rear, track down some of my higher level friends and go kill these guys. Its too bad i can never get them on at the same time >_<
  9. Tears of guthix is better than a lot of people give it credit for. With it it got from 1-40 farming without ever planting a seed. At's also great for leveling those skils you don't enjoy as it is easy, free exp. On average I get around 110 tears. If i remember correctly, the more quest points you have determines the amout of time you spent in the cave. So if time is a factor you can just do some of the simple quests
  10. Here is a direct quote from the knowlage base. Home > Manual > Skills > Thieving (Members Only) > Thieving FAQ
  11. Mourings End Part 2 gets my vote for hardest quest, especially since i did in the first week before a guide was out. (at least to my knowlage.) I haven't a clue just how many sharks and prayer pots I used in that devilish quest, plus that puzzle annoyed me to no end. Recipe for Disaster is a close second, it wasn't hard so much, but just increadibly long. I would've beated it on the first day too, but my cooking wasn't high enough :wall:
  12. Well it all depends on what sort of person you are. If you are a person who gets more from pictures rather than words, the rune hq is usually better for you. Rune hq has more (and usually better) guides that relate to other things rather than quests. However, I prefer Tip.it quides because they are often better written and contain more accurate information.
  13. The only dragon drop I have ever gotten is the true slap-in-your-face drop. This of course being the dragon spear. 1.Dragon spear 2.Dust devil 3.Approx 500 4.Yes
  14. All I can say is wow. It took me a moment to figure out what everything was, however it soon made sence to me. This must have teken a lot of work to put together, good job. =D> Off topic: W00t, 100 post count.
  15. My personal favorite is Dust devils, they have a good drop list full of high-alchable items, which are uncommon rather than rare. They are also great from range exp and *can* drop the dragon chain. Low def+high hp=win \
  16. Oh yah thats right, I forgot about that > < Sorry for any consfusion, I haven't done that quest in quite a while and asumed that the cave area was like an agility sortcut, the enterence and exit being in the same place.
  17. If you need to get another one, head back to Zooknok(sp?) in the tunnel. Once there, talk to one of the other two mining gnomes. If you try to get one from Zooknok, he will say say he can't give you one. One of them will give you a squad sigil and you will be able to return to the jungle demon.
  18. If I remember correctly, there should be a gap, whole under the wall, or something similar in some a part of the walls. It should be right about where you entered the city the first time (but of course outside of it.) Once found, it is simply a matter of going through it to re-enter the city.
  19. Climbing boots can be bought from Tenzing, the sherpa near Burthrope, during and after the death platau quest. The prayer books are a reward from the Horror from the Deep quest. After beating it, you can select which book yuo want. However in order to use them fully, you must obtain the four missing pages. This con be done buy doing treasure trails, or buying them off of other players Hope this helps.
  20. You know...Dust Devil is actually a brand of vacumns, like Kirby! (>^.^)> Actually, that would be "Dirt Devil", but its close enough. Personaly, I never really thought about Dust Devils looking like bugs, or anyother real classification of monster. I only really think of them as "things". However this is JaGeX after all, so they can't really be wrong about game content (at least most of the time #-o )
  21. The longest game I have ever played as about 8 minutes long, however that was back when Pest Control was first released. And I will agree that as of late, world 78 has taken a nose-dive in terms of decent people. I can't tell you how many times i've had to run around a portol, just to get to some spinners while there was a few people two squares away just hacking at the portol. At least i'm getting some good prayer exp off of all this :D
  22. Well i got there, and I'm either asuming everyone left or wasn't actualy here.
  23. That might be a bit tough for me as i only just finished tutorial island, however i'll try to get there.
  24. At least the time works well for me. I'll be creating TETFTW 42 if its still available, i'll do that now.
  25. Yah, I noticed that too. Weird I also once noticed that one spawned with a flashing yellow arrow over it like a boss. However I wasn't the one to claim it, so nothing special there. Sorry I didn't get a pic, I was in a wtf mode :wall: Seems to me lik ethis room could be with some more de-bugging. :D
