That's useless considering you need to do all the quests to get it. Not really, more or less it would just be the poor mans fire cape. Completing every quest in the game isn't too hard so they wouldn't give some godly bonuses. Besides, giving +1 for every combat bonus seems good to me, plus then if you lose it you on't have to go all through the fight caves over again to replace it.

Possibly +1 everything because quests require a larger variety of skills.

Well i only just logged in now, however so far it seems great. The new interface seems simple and clean even if its going to take some getting used to. Also remember that is you want to run you just have to hold down crl and click rather than change menus.

It might also be worthwhile to note that Dustdevils are among the best ways to train range. Low def, high hp and great drops. Bring a lot of high alching runes and you can stay there for a long time.

When I beat the demon, I went exploring as well. However I guess I didn't look well enough since I didn't find anything. I eagerly await your furture video. I wonder wether or not it would be possible to go down the trapdoor while the demon is still alive. On a similar note, I found a trapdoor in the house that was right beside the magic shop with a trapdoor thats aparently "locked from the inside" in it. You have to take a really round-a-bout way to get in though (i.e., running around the upper platforms) since the front door is fenced off. I wonder, since the jungle should be somewhere under the city, could the trapdoor lead down there and could it be possible to go up from the jungle to Marim? :-k

If I could, I would like to change my name to just "Artemis", however when I made this account the name was taken. The one this that really annots me is that the name "Artemis" doesn't even show up on the highscores. I guess i'll just have to stick with being the answer to life, the universe and everything.

I only really world hop on certain situations. World 99 is sort of my default world, I go there before hopping to any other location. Some situations I hop in are... Mining: To a highly populated world or to switch worlds of somebody is already there when I arrive. The obvious benifits are that on a populated world the rocks respawn faster which make it faster to get a full load. Mostly just used in mining iron, mythril and coal. Runecrafting: If there is a pker within my level range, I hop to one of the Canadian worlds, usually 130. The benifits here are fairly obvious. Buying Items: Self explanitory. Wilderness Clues: I switch whenever I see another white dot, I don't even bother to check the level. I figure if they have see me they'll check me as I do them, and they won't hesitate to attack. Woodcutting: Switch worlds if someone else is cutting them. I prefer to maximize the amout of logs I get. Afterall, if you have 3 people chopping the same tree you won't get many logs.

I don't see the whip falling much lower than 1.5mil. There comes a time when camping out at abyssal demons will no longer be a way of making good amouts of money. Because of the lower price, I think the drive for some people to train for several months to get 85 slayer will be greatly diminished. And because of less whips coming into the market and the increasing demand as more people either get the money and/or levels to weild one, the price will platue out. Just my opinion, I could be very wrong about this, but I just want to make a post representing those who have 85 slayer. An opinion which may not be shared by everyone, but that seems to be a common belief with those i've met up in canifis tower.

I've found it funny how in this storyline you seem to be beating all these great evils with little effort. First there is solus how was apparently weakened after killing the small army of white rangers. Judging by what we know about him, it seems unlikely that that would weaken him so far to have vertually no power or hp. Then theres the slugs whos so called prince was a total pushover. I imagine the mother mallum would by much stronger, but still. On anther note, I simply can't wait for Partisan armour. If the def and prayer bonuses keep increasing as they have so far, it would be pretty nutty.

Upon closer inspection, the boots she is wearing in the lumby image seem to be a pallet swap of the ones in the other image. Looks like re-coloured snakeskin boots with those [bleep]y... things by the heel. I wonder if Jagex is planning a massive graphical update. I doubt it though, those pics are probebly just for show.

As stated priviously, the variable that is used to find the odds of getting a d chain drop is 15. I haven't a clue where the guy got this from, I assume its just from data that other people provided and a good guess.

Although they can always just enlarge the total surfice area that the planet would cover should room become an issue. It looks pretty small here Sorry if i'm missing something, but what "looks pretty small here?" If you're referring to the planet itself, remember that in the pic I provided that its sideways. However if you mean the size of the planet, it looks about the same as it does in the image Dooku provided. (if not, a bit bigger.)

Their defence is a joke. To be honest, I'm surprised that they're level 93. They are so easy to kill. And according to a very reliable source that I asked a while ago, the odds of getting a d chain from dust devils is 1 in 32,768 or 2^15. Apparently all drop odds can be expressed as 2^x. I was thinking about adding that into my post, however I figured that it would go over most peoples heads and be ignored. From what I know of coding, this seems like the most logical way of going about it. And just out of curiosity, what is your "reliable source"? EDIT: Means two to the power of X, where X is your variable. (in this case, 2x2 fifteen times and you come out with 32768)

It took me well over 6.5k dust devils for me to get a chain. I'm not sure as to the exact amount since I stopped counting after a while, however it should be somewhere around there. None the less, they are very good range training, and I myself am planning to use up 30k iron knives on these guys once I finish making them. Should get me a fair few levels, and a chain on the side might be nice. However i'm not expecting one.

I remember killing chickens all day on my first day of playing, selling the bones to this one guy over and over again for like 5ea. I thought I was getting so rich... I also remember having a heart attack when this one guy offered me 3k for my feathers. I got full steel with that, and I thought I had such good equipment lol...

I've been reported a grand total of once. Although I really did nothing wrong. Due to some lag I was chopping a tree many squares away from where I should've been and a person who was there reported me for macroing of all things. Natually nothing became of this and I still have 0 offences against me. After all, do you really need to swear all the time? I didn't think so. On November 21 I will have officialy been playing for 2 years. Judgeing by other posts I seem to be doing pretty well for myself.

Actually, thats a unicorn. Anyways, its good to know that they are trying to improve the game as a whole again. Last time they did this we got con, I wonder if anything large is over the horizon this time :-k .

My first house design was build simply as I was going along, with no thought as to any practicality or decent looks to go along with it. After getting 70 con, my house looks like this... I find it to be a marked improvment.

Personaly, I don't find 85 slayer to be worth it. It takes far too long to gain the levels and the drops are much more rare than most people make them out to be. On the bright side you do get a ton of pure ess. They may always continue to drop, but at one point or another they will hit a plateu at which point the price will remain about the same and only be effected by the inflation (or, much less likely, deflation.) I doubt many people with 85 slayer would ever want to sell whips for only several hundred thousand gp. I may not speak for everyone, but that is the general feeling I get from other slayers. I predict closer to 1.7-2mil or so.
