ALL QUESTS!!! (update 2)
I have completed all the quests currently released in the game. I can't say exactly how long it took me because I did them in fair moderation for a long period of time. I'd say you could do it in a month or two depending on your stats and how much time you have.

Are you a "Old Timer" or a "RS2 product"?
One thing that really irks me about the community is the whole treatment of "RS2" products. However I'll spare you all a rant. I believe I started in November 2004, so that would make me a RS2 product.

how did you find out about runescape?
Some friends from school introduced me to it way back in Runescape Classic. However by a bazzar twist of fate that happened to be the same day I got my Gamecube. So instead of playing RS I played that for a while, forgot my password and abandoned the game. I then made this account some time later when RS2 was out. Unfortunatly all my old friends regretably have quite RS (for Maple Story no less... eeew :-X )

~ .:: Wyvern mystery finally solved ! - no elem shield ::. ~
Saying that is like saying you don't need an anti-dragonbreath shield to fight dragons You kinda don't if you're using protect from magic prayer  Correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe protection from melee blocks the attack you need the elemental shield for.

"Fighter Torso"- The only body item with a strength bonus
The fighter torso really doesn't lower your total defence by all that much. If people are willing to sacrifice the defence of their shield for a defender they I can't see why you wouldn't for this armour. Silly, silly. Torso is -60 -35 -60 compared to Torag. You gain +4 strength. Def is -30 -30 -30 compared to Dragon Shield. You gain +20 +20 +20 ATTACK. +5 STRENGTH. I would exchange 3 defense points for 2 attack points anyday, but NOT for the +5 strength. The attack points rae the only reason why i use defender. In my personal opinion its a bit of a waste to use torags all the time. With rune/dragon you should be fine against anything that doesn't hit exceptional hard. Unless you are of a lower level of course. Although this is just fom my own personal experience. I think that lot of people would give up the def for the str bonus.

The Power of -~Going With The Flow~-
That single philosophy is what got me through me long grind to 85 slayer. If I didn't stop to take a break every level or two I would have burnt out for sure and never reached my goal. Definitly words to remember there.

~ .:: Wyvern mystery finally solved ! - no elem shield ::. ~
Now this thread is making me annoyed. A while ago I spent 60+ prayer pots and quite a few sharks trying for a pair of legs and never got one. Maybe i'll go try again today.... Personally my favorite meathod of killing them is using full Veracs.

BA Defender
When I first played on a team with a bad defender I got maybe 27 points per round. Not to mention that runners were always the last of the four to die and take an annoying amout of time to kill. However when I play as a defender and have a competant healer I can easily get upwards of 50 points and have them all killed off before the other monsters. Having a good defender can seriously speed up your game. Having a bad defender really slows you down and lowers you points by the end of the game considerably. Conclusios: Defenders = good.

The Assault! - 90+ Barbarian Assault Forums - VENTRILLO
Did someone say a BA team? I've been hoping soneone would make one of these, so far in game my teams have all been pretty lax. So far I've only gotten up to round 9 because of some lag the was afflicting some of my teammates. I'll be puttin up my application now :D

granite has better stats then rune plate...
Could someone post a pic of full granite? If memory serves the legs are of a different style and are a lighter gray, so I'm wondering how they would look together. Personaly I'd rather use the fighters body (+4 str ftw O:) )

Barbarian Assault Gambling.... Post your bounty
I should hope they made it so you can't get any rares from this. Personaly I'm waiting until a proper group is formed before I try this, so I haven't gambled anything yet.

4th January- Barbarian Assualt
I've been reading over the Kb and so far it seems too complixated to do it effectively with your average group of players. I'll go give it a try however unless there is some stroke of genius by come players I might just wait till a group/clan is formed for this. The game looks awsome (drools over fighter plate =P~ )

All discussion here: Jan 2, 2006 - Rule 7 and Rule 9 Updated
I don't see why everyone is getting in a flap about this edited rule. In my entire time playing runescape I have never used such a program and have gotten along just fine without it. I understand why jagex is making this new change and personally agree that this is a good change.

Behind the Scenes - January
Yah, sorry about the assumption, however from personal experience I find that most of the people who complain about quests being too easy are the same people that use the guides. I hope this upcoming quest will actually be one that requires some thought. However from the bts it sounds more like a test of endurance.

Behind the Scenes - January
Those were my thoughts when I saw that too. Hopefully it's the most difficult quest yet, none of the others were too difficult at all =/ Perhaps you should try doing quests without using the guide, quests like MEP2 or DT really are much more challenging when you don't know exactly what your supposed to do and knowing exactly how to they fight and kill them. As for the new minigame, I think Jagex forgets that the average Runscape player has an IQ less than a peanut. Most likely this new minigame will only be properly played by serious groups similar to Affliction or Heart Unit.

your dream armour!
Full 3rd age melee. Too bad it costs 3 arms and a leg.

Which 99 would you want IRL?
99 hp could be fun, then I could survive getting slashed, impaled, shot, burned ect with little effect. Either that or 99 def like someone else said, either would work for me.

Poll: How many Amulets of Glory do you own?
29 including the one mounted in my house. I also have around 7 crystal keys sitting in my bank.

Best/coolest and worst/weirdest looking outfits?
Personally I disagree with your best Dooku, I find the quest cape clashes with dragon armour a bit too much. Anyways, since i'm too lazy to get a pic, (best) Skeleton Mask Amulet of fury Vyrewatch top Vyrewatch Legs Gloves of silence Mime boots And I can't really think of what would be worst, just a jumble of things from totally different skills.

85 fishing
I say monkfish, just because by the time you get 99 fishing you'll have a lifetime supply of good food. Not to mention you'll also be getting a great deal of cooking exp.

Is this game taken too seriously?
w/o food or sleep? That's incredible. He probebly did it using a laptop, sitting on the toilet with a mini-fridge right beside him  Anyways, I play nowhere near as much as I used to, For my the game is beginning to lose entertainment for me. These days I play only an hour or less a day.

farming
I think most people go around farming in completly the wrong way. Of course its going to be boring if you just stand around the patch and wait for your crops to grow. Instead use super compost and go fish, woodcut or somthing and come back in a while. It takes you maybe only a few minutes to plant and harvest them and the rewards for training it are always nice. (herbs ftw)

Wot do u tink has happened to King Vallance, King of Falador
My moneys on being kidnapped by the white nights. That would be the most interesting plot twist.

Which do you respect more?
Personaly I would value a skill cape over a fire cape, unless its either fletching or cooking. Skill capes generally take a lot more dedication than getting a fire cape, which mostly amounts to just how much money you can throw at Jad. Rather than a skill cape which takes a lot of time and patience. In my opinion, doing a fight cave run is the single most boring thing for me in the entire game.
