Personaly I burthrope all metal dragon tasks. If they didn't requre you to use antifire pots I would do them. However they cost too much and I've never had much luck with them.

Me thinks your odds for getting a big shark is a bit messed up. I've fished over 2k and haven't gotten a single one. Although I may just have bad luck.

I can reliably drop a ess and rub my glory to tele back to Edge before the pker even lands a single dds spec (after entagling me of course). Now that we have the operate funtion this makes it even easier. And if they use teleblock, i'll by safe and out of their range before they can get off another spell. Doesn't worry me a bit.

God I am pissed off right now just minutes ago, hre i am, minding my own business maging rex when this other guy totally comes out of nowhere, brings primes attention and the splash damage hits and kills me. I had mage pray temp off to conserve prayer while I att spinos for healing in between spawns. The part that really gets me is after the first hit i hit pray on, had points left but the next hit went through and killing me. Thats one mistake i'm never making again. My friend who was there with me didn't get my stuff in time and that other guy got it but wouldn't give it back. Total Loss Guthan Helm, guthan spear, dds, glory, row, obby sheild, rune boots, slayer staff, lost of runes, karils top and some drops.

While they look the same I imagine it is just a coincidence. The skull mask covers the back of your head while the Death Eater's mask does not.

I don't think that you can get a super anti from him. It uses the irit leaf herb, and the potion under that uses torstol. Since he gives you the potion that is under the herb that you gave him in level he would have to give you a magic pot for a torstol. A toadflax couldn't work because that (should) give you a def pot. Although I can't say for sure. I'll have to test this out if he happens to show up again.

I remember a thread a while ago in which people thought that we were going to get a graphical update because of three images a few people found in the knowlage base. I'm pretty sure that was in the "what is runescape" section. However A J-mod in the official forums stated that they were just made for promotional services and were never going to be implimented in game. I imagine its the same thing here.

10 All 6 barrows brothers and exactly 1 of each type of monster in the dungeon. (ie, one spider, 1 bloodworm, 1 rat and 1 skeleton) I always get more runes/coins/boltracks with this method than just 6 or killing like 5 skeletons. Trust me, it works just like the brothers do for rewards. Killing them once gives you a chance, but more than once is just useless.

I'm pretty sure I did it at around level 80. I would have done it much sooner, however I was far to lazy to train my smithing or herblore.

If memory serves they gave us last years halloween update on the day itself. So I don't think its much of a stretch to give it to us next Tuesday.

Well, I got 2 whip drops in 2 trips at abbies and (finally) bought myself an ammy of fury \ Its a start I guess.

How does getting the fire cape take luck? :? Unless you count the position where Jad spawns as luck, there's nothing about getting the fire cape that require luck. Anyway, cape is more impressive in my opinion. Well, there is always the freak connection loss that can happen (which I've noticed always seem to happen at, or just before Jad :-k :^o :wink: ) Personally i'm for the cape. While the chain can be simply got from merchanting or monster drops, it takes a certain degree of skill for a fire cape.

Well, if you think about it you can only go so far with stuff like bears and rats. With dragons and demons a lot can be left up to the imagination where as with these you can only go so far before they stop looking like what they are intended to be.

I was considering dressing like normal and going as god, but that seemed too boring to me. I can't think of what I would want to be, nothing seems to have grabbed my attention this year.

My computer is still as fast as ever. Although I did just lose my connection a few minutes ago which is increadibly rare for me. Your likely just imagining it.

If my hair in game was brown I would look a lot like myself, however I prefer the white. The black clothes are roughly the same though.

Unfortunatly, updates are usually relesed at 5-6am here, and on weekdays no less which makes it nearly impossible for me to do a quest right after release. However I never fail in doing a quest the day that it comes out, (Even if I have to grind 4 herblore levels ) and make good time doing it. I hate using quest guides, they really do suck the fun right out of it. Whats really the point of having somone else do the entire thing for for? If your going through quests to day you've done them all then using guides for every one makes it pointless since you won't achieve anything. [/rant]

But DoT doesnt always beat D from one hit. The way the combat system is set up, you could get lucky for 5 hits in a row and KO your opponant, which is why pkers want their str so much higher than their attack. You are quite right, if your str is a considerable amount higher than your att then obviosly you will have the advantage since you can hit mich greater than sombody else at your level. Although remember that you can just as easily miss 5 times rather than hit, while a person with high att has a greater chance of their attacks connecting. There are advantages and dis-advantages for both. In PvP you want the best [bleep]e damage you can get, while in PvM you want damage over time. Since I hate PK, I go for damage over time.

While obviously both are important, it is best to train each of them. Personally I train both (although there is a perticularly large gap between them.) Damage over time > Damage from a single hit Although don't make the mistake of counting out def, it has a surprising effect on your dodging ability.
