Also, remember that is is a 1/10,000 chance of getting a piece of third age, period. Then you still have the 1/12 chance of getting the kite after you take that into acount, so really it is much rarer than your giving it credit for. So far it appears as if Visages are easier to obtain than a peice of third age. However I can't see these shields dropping any lower than 20mil, at least not for a long time.

That shield is ultimate smex. This might actually encourage me to fight matal dragons if they are assigned to me for a slayer task. Although the Visage is increadibly rare, the chance of that along with dragon legs/skirts is worth it to me. And, how many charges does it use up when fireing the special?

I am planning to start training my Slayer again this summer and I have a quick question. Since I am planning on working on my strength as I train I was wondering if the effects of the Berzerker Necklace stack with the Black Mask. I have been told that using the Berzerker Necklace/TokTz-Xil-Ak/Rune Defender approach is faster than the Dragon Scimatar/Rune Defender meathod. Since this way seems faster I would like to know if it is viable, because if the effects don't stack then the black mask kinda outstrips the necklace for speed and efficiency.

While I cannot say for sure weather or not fighting monsters on a slayer task yeilds more rare drops, I can say that from some personal experience that I often do got better drops while training slayer. Perhaps I never really payed any attention to this when I didn't train by slaying, however it doesn't seem too farfetched to think that the drop percentage might be increased while killing monsters that you are assigned. Perhaps it works like a hidden Ring of Wealth. Of course this would be very hard to prove and not chalk up to some runs of good luck.

One time when Abyss RCing I was left at 6hp and super poisoned from an attack. I made it out thanks to my rol, however I died before I could get to a bank. Another time I lost my connection when in combat against a Gargoyle. Luckily I was healing with Guthans at the time so I wasn't in much danger of dieing and logged back in at half health.

I tried ancient magick-ing Barrows for the first time during what was apperently some sort of event. Needless to say have so many people fighting Dharok at the same time it wasn't easy to keep track of everything for someone as inexperienced as I was. :oops:

Well that was a bit of a surprise, first the connection loss then finding that all worlds empty. Seeing as how this is the second time in as many days I am assuming that this is more than a standard problem. Hopefully Jagex can sort this out soon.

Getting 90 slayer was going to be my summer goal before I even learned about Dark Bows in the first place. 85 slayer was my goal for last summer, and since I trained it for a month and a half I got tired of it at the time. Anyways, I should be able to get exp faster now that I am a much higher combat level so it should be too hard, especially now that we have the teleport from Karamja Gloves 3. I plan to start after getting my current goal of 85 hunter.

Around 90% (and i'm really not making this up) of the time any questions i'm asked can easily be answered via the knowlage base or world map. So in those cases I often politly ask the player to check either of those places. If it is a question that cannot be answered those ways than generally it is an intelligent question and I am more than happy to take some time and help the player out.

I choose a skeletal wyvern simply because no npc and few players ever use it except in special circumstances. Therefore... freeze+constant high hits+longrange attacks=win

Bah, if only I had the foresight last year to continue training slayer up to 90. I guess grinding for over a month can make you want to turn away from a skill for a while... I was going to start training it again once I was off school for the summer, but now I am tempted to get back at it sooner. This looks to be a very good month.

have you done the ghostly robes mini game? till today i never did it, and i was stuck at 143 also, then i did it, i talked to the guy upstairs (the one that give you lamps), and i got 153 kudos and a 10k lamp :) I have. After a little more experimentation I found that I hadn't added the second vase to the one section. I suppose I had missed it because it wasn't empty in the first place. 153 Kudos now :D

It's Jagex's game, they can do whatever the hell they want to it. They obviously cannot ask the players opinion on every update, so they substitute that for the polls. It is quite simply impossible to please the entire player base with any given update, there will always be people who are unhappy about it. That is the reality. Personally I don't have a problem with it, although it will take some getting used to.

I seem to have completed everything (all display cases seem to be full and all quizes answered) yet I only seem to have 143 kudos. Is there something I am missing?

I did it on the first day without using a guide. Most annoying puzzle i've ever completed. There was a certain feeling of satisfaction from doing it by myself. Granted, being around level 85 made it all the tougher due to the shadows that swarm you everywhere.

Although there are many possible tasks that you could do for the wilderness, having a diary for that area could cause some pretty obvious problems. Can you imagine how many clans would be swarming the wild in the time frame surrounding the realease of this? It would be very difficult to complete it with such an increased risk of death. Mining rune would be a bit too high leveled in my opinion. Needing 85 mining seems a bit steep to me. I don't know, maybe the reward for it would be worth it. Personally I would like to see areas like Tirannwn or Morytania have their own diarys in the near furute.

I got full lumberjack within the first day it was released. (Save the boots due to the glitch.)I have the whole set now and I very rarely see anyone else with it.

That was an entertaining quest all around in my opinion. Although I found just getting the goutweed to be the most annoying part. I used only 7 sharks for the final fight. Six on the first boss and one on the next. After that I didn't have to eat again.

I'm assuming that you don't have to take down the level 100, two 250s and the 350 all at the same time. (ie, they come in waves like the fightcaves.) Sounds like fun.
