Also, I believe they can be dropped by the Chaos Elemental. So even if the event was removed, there would still be a few ways to get it.

The area in your fourth picture (the one under the spirit beast) is the dungeon under the tower of life.

I chose to put my 400k into summoning which made me go from 71-75. I almost decided to put it into runecrafting, but I figured that summoning would be more useful to me in the near future.

I seriously, seriously doubt that this is real. It is simply too random and too powerful to be introduced without any announcement or warning. If I remember correctly, there was also so hoax about a creature near the Brimhaven fruit tree patch that turned out to be false. I have a feeling that this is no different. This is nothing more than a group of kids that decided they wanted their fifteen minutes of fame. That said, if someone can provide me with some real evidence as to this creatures excistance, then by all means do so.

The pillar like structures on the sides of the image are trees. The thing in the middle appears to be a road of sorts. Simply put, it's a path through a forest.

Does anyone know if its possible to use a magic potion to get the enchantments from the witches?

Does anyone know if potions help you to not fail at tasks that are above your normal skill level?

I'm confused. I've hit the beast with both the first and second disks however the third one doesn't work. I have the beast standing on the disk when I summon and dismiss the scorpion however nothing happens. Is there anything that I could be missing here?

I find that a lot of people don't give the storylines in runescape as much credit as they should. Some of the plot lines are rather interesting and tie in with other aspects of the game rather well. As far as I am concerned, it was only a matter of time before Jegex created a novel for their game. The description given on the site hardly give me the impression of it being 'epic', as described. However the back cover does give a better idea as to what the story is about. I can't quite make out a few of the words, however I think you can get the general idea. However, despite being an avid reader myself, I can't see myself paying that much for this book, since I am also assuming that the listed price doesn't include shipping costs.

That is true, they do have a tendency to move around. However I have never seen an icon drift that far away from its intended place. Also, the fact that is is right by Ned would lead me to believe that he is the actual diary start point. I just hope they don't have me raise any skills to complete this next diary like I had to last time...

Yikes, I'm getting some mighty impressive lag even though it should run fine according to the system requirements. I'm hoping that this is just a result of so many people downloading this update at the same time. Still though, the new graphics look amazing. It's just a shame that I seem unable to play it with the new deatail. #-o

Well, I haven't been doing much slayer these past few days. I have been doing quite a bit of summoning training and have been busy in real life. However, I did manage to get to a pretty respectable level in summoning and bring my combat up to 131. This also has the added bonus of making all of my skills at least 70. \ Guthix Raptor

Thanks. :) And I do realize that it's a tough goal to reach, however I feel confident that I will get there eventually. That is most certainly true. They are much rarer and more valuable that most other TT rewards. The only problem though, is selling it. Well, the GE price lists them as being 3-4mil, however I've heard from some people that it is worth around 10mil+. I can sympathize when it comes to getting lousy monster drops. Normally I have extreamly bad luck when it comes to monster drops. My record with whip/dark bow/GWD drops are proof of that. Although, looking at my drops so far it seems that my bad luck has turned around somewhat. Hopefully it will continue. Now, if I could just get the Leaf-Bladed sword. #-o Well, now to some recent levelups. First of all, 97 defence. Well, now I just need two levels before maxing the stat, at which point I think I'll work on training my ranging. \ And 99 hitpoints \ I am really pleased with this one. It is a great level to have, and the cape looks awsome as well. :thumbsup:

Well, I have to say that this last task was quite friendly to me. Two black mask drops, and when you consider the current price, that makes it even better. \ I also got my first slayer level up on that same task. :twisted: And as of now I am only 70k exp away from 99 hp. So I should have that sometime tomorrow :thumbsup:

Well, this was sure a nice surprise... (The reward being the 3rd age vambs, zammy d-hide top and 2 black dragon chaps.) I find it annoying though, that I had to get the single most worthless 3rd age item. Of well, I guess it wouldn't really be right of me to complain. Anyone have an accurate idea as to its worth? (I hear the GE value on 3rd age isn't entirly accurate)

Holy shnaps...! 3rd age Vambraces!!! (well, and zammy d-hide top) Best clue I've ever gotten. It really does pay to so every clue you get. Although I wasn't able to get a pic of the reward screen since a freakin' rev attacked me just as I opened the casket. Altough its a shame that it had to be among the least valuable and most useless out of every piece of third age equipment. So in a way, I guess you could call it extreamly unlucky.

Well, so far my clues have been really unimpressive (the best thing so far boing black plateskirt(g) however I did happen across this... It just goes to show that it pays to be observant while doing clue scrolls. Just as I'm teleporting away from White Wolf mountain I notice a Dragon Impling on the path leading up the mountain. I then immediatly grabbed a net and jar and took the glider back. After a few minutes of running around searching I finally found him and, after an annoying chase (since he can go over unpassible areas) I finally caught him. And yet another defence level. Well, sometime today I should have the points to learn how to make the slayer mask. I just hope Sumona decides to stop sending me on more slow and profitless tasks.

I think I just realized a great flaw with using lunars. Without the modern spell to teleport to Trollheim, there really isn't any practical way to get the the God Wars Dungeon. As far as I know, the only way is to take the long route up to that area. Is there some way to get up there that I'm missing, or is there really no other way? Oh well, I just hope that I don't have to bank during this task #-o .

Well, this was an unexpected drop. Not especially interesting, however it is a pretty rare drop. Its a shame that I already have a KBD head in my house so this new one really has no use. I also got a white mystic top towards the end of my task. Still no Leaf-Bladed Sword though. #-o Eugh, Turoths again though. I've already fought these guys today, the kurasks and now Turoth again. I'm getting a little annoyed at having to kill these guys with this terrible spear. Oh well.
