  1. Ok speaking of this, I forgot to mention another bad problem of thieving. You are expecting a fairly high fail rate of pickpocketing for npcs above paladins even at lvl 99. Yep failing 4 times on a row on a hero is common. Wow, only 4 times in a row? Thats pretty dang lucky if you ask me. And don't even get me started on elves... At any rate, I agree that thieving at this point in time is quite worthless. What we really need is something like gnomes or elves that can be done consistantly at higher levels without ridiculous failure rates.
  2. I don't even see why people really wanted the broom so bad in the first place. Its not like you would be able to use it to fly from place to place. More likely than not, all it would be would be a wieldable item that gives you an emote (like the rubber chicken.) I'm not saying I wanted the hood, I voted for the bone broach myself. However I seriously doubt the Reaper Hood is just going to be a plain, black hood. I'm guessing it will look something like the Void hood, but darker and rattier looking. Possibly also obscuring your face or making it look like a skull. However, it being a unique looking item creates the obvious problem of it not going with many other outfits. However i'm sure that Jagex will think of something, they haven't come up with anything yet that i've been against.
  3. I think the main problem with including super-powered boss monsters in runescape is the simple fact that, in runescape, the price of death is so high. Unlike in some games, where you only lose around a few hours worth of exp, in runescape you can lose millions and millions worth of equipment from a single death which can take days, or even weeks to replace.
  4. Name: Artemis 42 Country: Canada (British Columbia)
  5. the way I see it... Monkfish = Fishing exp cooking exp free Chocolate Bombs = Costs gp no exp 1 less hp restore I think I'll stick with monks, however this gnome food is without a doubt a very good alternative.
  6. I agree that its a bit sad that the Dragon Square Shield and its peices have come down to this. Personally, I think that the Draconic Visage should've been added to the Dragon Square in order to turn it into the Dragon Kite, while having all of the Dragonfire Shields current properties.
  7. I never use quest guides in the first place, however I find that sometimes tips quides are a little sparse with detail. So if I had to say anything, it would be that these perticular guides aren't very clear in some respects.
  8. I thought that Saradomin was the god of order as well. However according to the knowlage base... I'm pretty sure that Saradomin was the god of wisdom. I could be wrong though.
  9. The mage would have had to create a massive super-insulative magical barrier around the whole of Trollheim that could somehow last for thousands of years, and if that were the case, it would be impossible for anyone to enter the area. This in itself is impossible, for energy cannot behave in the manner described, nor can it insulate heat. You're forgetting one thing... This is MAGIC we are talking about. And I agree that it is illogical for a god to represent a combat type. At any rate... Bandos - God of war Armadyl - God of the sky/law and order Zaros - Darkness/magic(???) I'm not too sure what Zaros could be the god of, since as far as I can tell they have never really told us, so it is mostly left up to interpritation. However they have told us enough to make educated guesses as to this.
  10. I got mine on the first day of release. It took somewhere between 1.5k-2k tokens for me to reach rune. Iron took the longest for me to obtain out of any of the metals.
  11. I remember hearing about this theory a long time ago, and I agree that it would make a good deal of sence for the drops to be orginized like this. Afterall, I was able to get goblin and hill giant champion scrolls on the same day (no joke). However, I then killed around 100-150 of each other possible monster with no luck. I started doing this again and got through a few sets of monsters before I got bored of it and gave up. A few months later, I got a champion scroll from a lesser demon while on a slayer task. This inspired me to once again try killing around 100-150 of each possible monster. Yet just lilke before, I was unable to recieve another one. My conclusion - While its possible that there may be some hidden selected monster for you to kill, there is no real proof. Either way its still really rare.
  12. I would like to see a Morytania achievement diary. If not that, then Seers Village/The Fremennik Province. I think either one of those would make a good diary.
  13. I believe that was due to the removal of the popular safespot in General Graardor's room, which made it very easy to solo drops for an extended period of time. Since this had been removed, it is now harder to get them, and, therefor the supply is increasing slower than before. Along with the demand being the same (of possibly higher) the prices increase. I wouldn't expect the prices to go back down very fast.
  14. Nerd? No. Geek? Yes, (and proud of it  ) Anyways, I'm 15, I live in Canada and go to high school like any normal person my age. I find school to be very easy, although personaly I hate it because it bores me to hell. And I'm one of those people that lives to play Runescape, its just something I do to unwind and have some fun after school and on the weekends. ^ Had to quote this for the truth. (Describes me perfectly)
  15. Since the person in the Skeletal armour is wielding a hunter crossbow, I would assume that it is supposed to represent ranging (or possibly hunter.) So weather or not that one is wrong really just depends on your point of view. However I will agree with the problems with question one, which gave me some confusing when answering it for the first time.
  16. Am I the only one who thinks that its odd that we have now had every in-game update for this month aside from the Alter, and its only the 10th? Normally things are spread around a bit, but we're only 1/3 of the way though this month and there is only one main update to go. I'm guessing that this Zamorak alter is going to be a fairly big update. *twiddles thumbs while waiting for kitten to grow.*
  17. Eek! Looks like i'm going to have to use some spicy stew on at least 2 skills with this one. Luckily I only need my stats boosted by a small amout to do those tasks. Only 3 for smithing and 2 for farming. (I can use chefs delight to make myself a wild pie though.)
  18. ^That's the real definition of Noob. So when you start playing, you should magicaly know everything about runescape? To me, a noob is someone who is an intentionaly annoying or disruptive player. It has nothing to do with levels, in fact when I was in a f2p world with some friends some people there were much more mature than a lot of p2pers that i've encountered.
  19. Yep, finished it the day after it came out. The only thing stopping me from having it completed the first day was fruit tree. However, before the Varrock diary comes, I intend to have a plant in every patch in the surrounding area ready for health checking. That should clear up any problems i'll have with it.
  20. I'll have to say Recipe for Disaster. I use the dark gloves for virtualy every combat senario, not to mention the rewards that are included from the quests needed for complete it in the first place. However, ones such as Fairy Tale P2 and Priest in Peril are also very important and have become a real nessecity in my daily rs life.
  21. The way that is says "THE' blood/soul" alter leads me to believe that blood and soul runes will be craftable in some way. Them emphisis on 'THE' makes it sound as if it means 'a' blood/soul alter rather than the main type we are all used to, (if that makes any sence  )
  22. Personaly, I thought the quest was great. Perticularly how it seems to be connecting other majoy storylines along with it. [hide][/hide] I screenshot this because it seemed to be very important, (not to mention interesting). Reguardless, something big it on the horizon and I can't weait for the continuation of this. Why do I get the feeling i'll be here 2-3 years from now, still awaiting the next segment of this series?
  23. For as long as I can remember, I've played on the 'very bright' setting.
  24. Ooh, I've been waiting for a new continuation of a quest series, i'm hoping this quest will be good. The BTS makes it sound like It might have something to do with the Cave Goblins. However this Runecrafting update seems a bit odd to me. The description was rather vague and Paul went to the trouble of silencing some rumours right after this BTS was released. Normaly they just let players imagination run amuk for a month. Whatever it is, i'm betting its going to be quite... interesting.
  25. I dont think there is anything to say about this except  #-o Good eye for noticing that. I wonder if Jagex has done anything like this before... :-k
