Low seed prices are a great thing, in my opinion. The cost of one herb could be ~1000gp, and the seed is only 100gp (fictional herb haha [could be compared to avantoe]). A majority of the time you will get about 5-6 herbs per seed, more or less depending on luck, which means you can easily make money of the skill. I believe it's one of the best money makers out there. Even at level 2 you can make about 37k an hour, using marigolds, and 3 patches. The seeds are maybe 50gp, and the flower is a whopping 3+k. If that's not profit I don't know what is.

That is the reason I turn public chat to hide so I won't have to deal with the spammers. Although, it is nice to see someone buying say, and herb or uncommon item at max price, quick cash in my pocket.

Does anyone know the deal with seeds? I tried buying 300 of avantoe seeds and I got instant 100 at max. I'd have to check back later to see if it increased or not.

Well with current arguments being brought up, why not take out the hp exp you gained with melee while ranging and maging? You didn't use those skills to get the hp, so remove it! Along with prayer adding to levels, because how often do you use prayer when just training combat stats normally? Maybe protect prayers to get those last 5 kills before teleing, but besides that it's too expensive for most to buy prayer pots, and doesn't last long enough to be used longterm. And if you are a lucky few who pray melee for everything they kill, then you should have no worry spending a few 100k to buy shards for a pouch, which when used correctly will actually enable you to make money back.

I'm really diggin this new layout, looks very much like the website. A quick question on the programming or whatever, is it possible to make the forum be apart (ah forgot what's it's called, but on the main website if you click on say, bestiary, you still had the sidebar. I took a web page design class 3 years ago but forgot what it's called :wall: ) and it just pops up with the sidebar still there. Not that I want it implemented or anything, just wanted to know if it's possible.

Anyone else thinks it's very sleek? Now all the complainers can stop and we have what looks like the main site! Or is there some other design you want?

I have submitted many Iron and Steel dragon kills. Not only is it good to see ratios, but also is nice to keep track of how many kills I have made. Sadly though, it's a lot harder to add drops of monsters I can kill moderately fast, like fire giants. Between clicking between tabs, finding and clicking on boxes, and then going back to click on another giant, I was overwhelmed at some times when I got lucky hits. A multiple drop log or a "total in trip" log would be convenient as well.

I'm starting to like randoms, to be honest. I usually get the maze 1 or 2 times a day, and with that comes easily 50k if I get death runes. The maze design is easy to memorize, and only once or twice have I started somewhere else. Diamonds, snapdraggons, even a ruby is a nice prize, but I think they should make more prizes, based on what you are doing. If you are farming, give us some ranarr seeds. If you are in combat, give me cooked monkfish. Also, they should make more emotes. Push ups, sit-ups, star jumps anyone?

It seems as though you might have lost actually. You made 70k from them, but the two keys you got as drops cost ~40k each, making them 80k. Of course you got those ones for free so I ain't even gonna trip. I wish I had some of what you got there, luck!

Also, when and where are we judged on combat anyways nowadays. The only spot is probably bounty hunter, which if you don't want extra levels you don't need to train it. Should defence pures be considered less because they have lower defence than the average player around their level? Didn't think so. It's just a new way to train, and getting the skill to where it is now for me has been fun, because I'm always testing the new familiars. By the way, Dust Devils suck.

Summoning just needs to be recognized as not only a combat skill, but also like any other skill, whether it be money making or just useful for various tasks. Take the Pyrelord for example. Yes you can take it into combat and raise strength while it attacks for you, or you can use it while firemaking. Not only will it count as your tinderbox, but you get a whopping 10 extra experience with every log burnt. From level 45, you need to burn 96096 maple logs. With an extra 10 experience you save the time of burning 7119 logs, and roughly 300k. Sounds like a good deal to me.

Well that would be the "base" armor, and some variations would have super def, and lower prayer, or more prayer, and lower def. Stuff like that.

I only get teleported about one in about six trips to fire giants, and those are just to zamorak warriors right next half the time. Although, I used to be a problem with the ice giants/ice warriors spot from the gargoyles, which has been broken for weeks! That was my previous charm fix, but it's all good now.

Rather than create new armor, there should be varying armor. Some are your normal, today's version armor. Then you have strength boosted armor, with worsened defence, and others with increased defence and a negative attack bonus. Even every armor could be blessed for a prayer bonus after a holy "crusade". Implementing many, many variations of armors we already have. Ones that can poison, freeze, decrease stats, steal health, steal prayer, cause extra damage, cause elemental magic damage, among others. Multiple blesses would be cool, with added bonuses to create super armor for many quests and money.

I'm not even gonna lie, I looked for a temporary forum and found RSC. I also did my first barrows from a guide on there, not because it was better, but because it was 3am and I was looking for something to do!

Well, I'm none to sure if this is the right forum or not, but I was directed here in my own topic for a suggestion. All old topics need to be removed! I didn't know how else to word it, but having 10+ pages of topics, and only 3 actual ones you can view makes things very messy, in my opinion.

After a long 3 days, the forums are finally back up and running, albeit with a new look and major changes. 3 months of hard work down the drain, many guides and great topics lost. While many of us spend a majority of our playing time looking through the forums for how to slay certain monsters, or how to make that extra 100k, for a few days we were forced to give up our beloved forum.tip.it! What alternatives did you use while it was down, and are you glad your favorite forum is back up and running? I know I had troubles, as I always look through General while playing. It's a lot more interesting than in-game chat! Stooping as low as visiting other sites is what I was forced to do in those times of peril! Also, could you survive without tif?
