It's alright mate...we all make mistakes. Just glance around the first couple of pages, OR use the search button(even though it sucks :P) before you make a new post to make sure there isn't another post like it. I don't love it. His head looks really akward sticking out of the portal thing.... I'm not sure what you could do to fix that, except find a different render. But, you blended it well, and matched colors well...as well :P Good job.

First one is nice..I'd put some color in the black and white areas around the render. The second one...you didn't do anything. Render+text+some effects. Meh

I've had this happen before. The problem may be that your usb ports juts arn't giving enough juice to the HDD. Try finding an ac adapter for it.....or plug it into both ports at once(assuming you have a multi headed...thing) When I had this problem...it came with a multi headed usb cable.

check out Newegg.com I've bought from there before...and their pretty reliable and have good customer service.
