As you probably know, I'm not a christian. My mother however, is. She's currently struggling with something: Whether or not having a christmas tree is wrong in the eyes of god, since they were based on Pagan symbols. Any verses that you think may be appropriate? Any advice? Thanks for your help.

What's the difference between having no nervous system, and a developing nervous system which is not in use? You could use the logic to argue against abortion. You shouldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t abort the foetus because a child starts to develop. The nervous system is in use, though, however primitively..

Without reading most of the topic, here's my opinion: I don't beleive in abortion any time after the nervous system starts to develop, I beleive that's 11 weeks? Before that though, I'm fine with it. It shouldn't be used as a contraceptive at all, though, only when it's really needed. You have to draw the line somewhere, our brain (cheif of our nervous system) is what seperates us from lesser animals, so, that's where I think it's just to draw it. Also, to anyone saying it's the "Woman's right to choose, because it's her body" needs to DIAF. If you're referring to the fetus as "her body" that's obviously idiocy, if you're talking about what the fetus does to the body, too bad. There are a lot of people wanting healthy american babies, and if you couldn't take care of it by 11 weeks, or better yet, far sooner, too bad. If you didn't know about it until post-11 weeks, that's unfortunate. You could also have died in a car accident on your way to work, though. Count yourself lucky.

Do the school officials force you to go? If so, that's pretty messed-up. Go to your parents about it, talk to the school officials. Ask them if you could simply go to the library or do some independant study when the rest of the school goes to church. If they flat-out refuse to work with you, you really could have a case. Find a lawyer who will represent you pro-bono. EDIT: Oh, wait.. are you in a private school? If you are, there's less you can do.. certainly not pursue legal action. The most you could do in that case would be to talk to the officials.. if that doesn't work and it still really bothers you, maybe ask your parents to go to a different school. That's if you're in a private school.

I also love Beaty's monologue from Fahrenheit 451, it's several pages long so I won't post it, but I just love it.. The juxtoposition of the terrible tumultuous never-ending ever-speeding images next to Beaty sitting calmly, smoking his pipe, is just fantastic. That and the whole stomach-pumping scene.. god, the whole book is just fantastic. "Denhams Dentrifice"...

I beleive that even the old trials were only 30 days.. you're lucky, Cruiser.. :) Also, the trial doesn't skin everything that the full version skins.. I beleive scrollbars are an example. Kinslayer: Windowblind's skinning processes run instead-of windows xp's skinning processes, and in many instances actually uses less resources than the original XP skins.

Before these forums there was Scapeboard, which was hosted by (I don't remember the name) a really crappy 3rd party forum hosting company. It wasn't directly under our control, we were hacked several times and had a ton of other troubles, so we finally got our own server, and set up these forums. Before Scapeboard there was evidently 3 or 4 other "temporary" forums, I wasn't really active on the site in those days, so I only vaguely remember 2 of them. But yeah, if you look, the 18th of june was the first day the forums were really open to the public, before that they were only open to staff-members. Everyone who joined before the 18th of June was a staff member at one time or another.

I would agree with Futurama.. not neccesarily for the concept, but for the execution. I am constantly amazed at how even though it's a comedy, and it's random as hell, it still is able to develop characters, and keep a consistant plotline throughout. Not only that, but the "serious" episodes are just fantastic.

I dunno whether it's just me or what, but this was ridiculously too hard. Also it seems that the mages and rangers don't actually do anything, they just sit there. I also think that you shouldn't have to click on the building each time to upgrade it.. that is the focus should stay on it until you click something else.

I would say probably around $1000 with labor. Thank the lord that it isn't an auto trasmission, as those are a great deal more expensive than manual ones.
