The fact that it's in a movie obviously means that they exist.

I figured they probably weren't worth much... but it'd be cool to know whether or not they were first pressings or not. Which is what I meant by "original", not whether or not they were bootlegs. And yeah, I'd much rather enjoy than sell them, but I don't even have a stereo atm, let alone a turntable. :(

The problem with them lies not in their cost (though it is high), but in the fact that the fuel recquired is too great. Jetpacks have been built. The most successful one could only fly for around 17 seconds though, with the ammount of fuel it could feasibly carry. Real "jet"packs will never exist, unless we get into antimatter... but that's such a long way off something better will come in the meantime. Odds are personal lift vehicles would be powered by some sort of anti-gravity device, if anything, not by rockets or jets..

The flavor of my pizza with no toppings can kick the crap out of any take-out pizza with a pound of toppings. And no, Dominos has just about the worst pizza ever. EVAR.

I inherited some albums from my father, of note are Pink Floyd's The Wall, and The Beatle's Lonely Heartsclub Band.. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out whether or not the records are original pressings / worth anything. Thanks in advance for any help. :)

My awesome Phillippe Starck watch can't get a good pic, so Same thing, but with a black band. I wanted the one in the picture, but I couldn't find one anywhere. Some albums I got from my dad, only 2 really noteworthy ones: (sorry for low-quality, CBA to take better ones atm) I dunno enough about music/records to tell if they're original or not.. if anyone wants to help me with that, I'd appreciate it.

Yes, the American Government is horrible. However the petty social points you're referring to are nothing compared to the other atrocities being commited not only by Bush, but also by Congress, The House, various state governments. I'm sure there are multiple ones out there, but the one I use (prior to hearing about SpaceMonger here, which I'm going to try out shortly), is DriveScan by Stardock, which can be found on Google, to steal Anes' words.

Also note that unless you have an HD-capable TV, the quality of anything from your PC will be cow-dung at best.

Quad SLI means you have 4 video cards running at once working together to do the graphics work. Same with SLI but only with 2 cards. CAS2/3 means the speed on the memory, the lower the better. Except that you have to have software designed to take advantage of the 4 GPUs, of which little exists to my knowledge. What you can have though is one GPU dedicated to different processes/displays, which is why it's primarily good for people in the media industry. Unless you have a game capable of splitting itself up among the GPUs, most home-users wouldn't see the difference between 4 and 2 or maybe even 1 GPU. Of course that's saying nothing about the bragging rights involved.. ;)

I live in Iowa, I took Driver's Ed. The first time I'd ever driven was in class. I don't think it's a waste of time or money. Not all kids are taught by their parents, and this insures that everyone at least knows the basics, and the laws. $400 I think is a bit much though :/... I don't think mine was over $150.

Is it all put together with snap rivets? If that's the case, you're a bit screwed unless you have some specialty grinder or something..

There is no best author, just like there are no best artists. Writing is far too subjective to have any one or two "best". That's not saying there aren't good and bad authors, and some authors are definitely better than others. I definitely wouldn't consider Dan Brown one of the better ones, though. His books are like textualized action movies. Bleh.

My favorite episode is the chicken one.. just for the part where Jerry confronts Newman about the broccoli... classic... I used to think it was stupid, but I've got really into it lately..

The limit is actually 30kb now.. And no, don't add scanlines. Scanlines are stupid unless you're trying to do a faux effect of some sort. Keep the original. It was good. Stick to your instincts, and don't go overboard with ornamentation. Sometimes less is more. I think my only suggestion would maybe be, instead of making the colored area a concrete box, do a sort of grunge-edged rounded rectangle, and don't stroke it. Also perhaps kill the bevel on the text...

If you used the comma-diliminated method, you could simply set a maximum length of characters (letters) on the field and allow as many as it'll hold. Then you wouldn't have to worry (as much) about extra DB space being taken up-

You should be good at even mid to high-ish settings... I hope you enjoy the game, I know I do. :)
