  1. Every post I post is poked at to see if there's any faults with it. Use common sense. It's 33.3333% recurring to Constant and 66.666666% recurring to the gower brothers.
  2. Not entirely sure why they'd market to young children the game is certainly not just for children but they can do that if they wish as it's their game. The problem is when there is a law saying you need parental concent to play a game if you're under 13 in America and miniclip seems to be a good place for under 13 Americans but I can't really be sure who goes to miniclip.
  3. If you're f2p then i'm guessing you're not going to get a reply for obvious reasons but if you do then that means they're getting much better. I don't see why you'd need a personal response to a ban appeal. Either you did the offence or you didn't do the offence.
  4. Where did you hear that they had sold 34% of the company? I thought Jagex was still owned by the Gowers. I heard that too, from the article where it said how much the Gowers were worth. So yeah, I think this should mean good things for Jagex as a company. As long as they stick to their original aims, ie. a cheap, browser based game, then I don't see how anything negative could come. The original CEO - constant tedder has 33% the gower brothers own 66%
  5. Being the CEO in a privately owned business doesn't mean they have as much power. Andrew and Paul still own 66% of the business so any decision making will go through them.
  6. They say they market at what they think would be fun and the 13+ rule is there mainly for a law existing in the US. It's quite possible they do remove people from the game who are under 13 but it's hard to find out whether they are under 13 or not unless they admit to it in game. Not sure where you've got the information that they ban innocent people, I don't see how you can prove that unless you have access to the evidence that was presented to them. Players can lie to you to present Jagex in a bad way I wouldn't believe everyone when they say they are innocent. Not sure what the problem with Customer Support is but considering the amount of queries they get per day from 5 million players I think they do a good job. Not entirely sure why they became an affiliate of miniclip, that's exactly the type of people they don't want to be marketing at IE under 13 Americans.
  7. Words like suck are censored because it could potentially be used in a sexual context. If you said suck in a non-sexual context it's unlikely you would get black marks.
  8. You realise that the whole 'kiddie slide' in the Grim Reaper's mansion was supposed to be a joke, right? Why did you take it seriously? I thought it was kinda obvious that it was humorously placed in the wrong place, since even the design (Bright purple?) was completely out of context with the whole idea of the Grim reaper. It was funny, get it? :notalk: I realise it may be funny to kids but a slide in my opinion doesn't represent a laugh out loud situation. Maybe when you visit a park and see a purple slide you burst into laughter but I myself think of a slide as being a place for kids to play.
  9. Yeh I'd agree with this, they aim updates at a younger audience yet you shouldn't be playing if you're over the age of 13 (for Americans). They themselves say they aim the updates at what they'd like to see but with the new halloween update for example it seemed very childish, what with the playground slide in the middle of the grim reapers mansion... There is a difference between being childish and having a sense of humour there are lots of humorous situations in RuneScape but i'd say there's more childish updates than funny updates.
  10. Good article even though there were quite a few grammatical errors.
  11. I'm glad after all these years they've started to release clan support.
  12. I can remember the make over mage being created back in RSC. It was very rare for an update to happen back then (perhaps an update a month if you were lucky).
  13. It originally was 9. I suppose it might be time for a change.
  14. Runescape is a fictious world, it's not trying to represent the real world and thus it doesn't have the same time peroids as the real world. There was no time peroid in the real world where magic was prevalent.
  15. When you get lots of experience from repetitive tasks you get higher chances of getting a random event. Cooking is a good example.
  16. I think i'm one below Master not sure what rank that is. I got there by taking a cannon to the wilderness maze and letting rip with it.
  17. Seen quite a few Jagex mods, they used to be on world 83 all over newly updated places on days of updates. Now they're not usually there anymore. Saw Andrew and Paul once when they released the agility dungeon in Brimhaven.
  18. Just came back to RS got up to date with a few of the newer quests and just done some barbarian training. I'm currently fishing shark with my hands south of Burgh De Rott.
  19. I think it's a bit big-headed to think that humans could change the fate of an entire planet. We might be a very successful species on this planet but in terms of the Earth and it's history we're only a very small part of it. If we really are affecting the Earth then why not just abandon all greenhouse gas-emitting technology, cars, power plants, industry. If we did this then i'm sure we'd have far more fatalities than if we let global warming do it's business. If for example we lowered CO2 emissions by not using cars/planes/boats we'd have a reduction in imports/exports and transportation of food. Places which are not self-sustainable would soon run short on food. Without powerplants we'd have no electricity, without electricity the majority of businesses would collapse without businesses they'd be no industry to support the already overpopulated Earth. I think we should carry on as we are and take whatever comes to us.
  20. Druidic ritual. You need to do druidic ritual to start herblore.
  21. My guess is WoW will eventually die, RuneScape is guaranteed updates indefinitely whilst WoW may loose whatever updates it gets when Blizzard moves onto another game. It seems all that WoW has is it's graphics and graphics get outdated as time goes by.
  22. Nice one, good luck on getting more abby whips if that's what you plan to do.
  23. Monkfish are being used on P2P they cost the same as lobbys and heal 16hp. They're as easy as lobbys to get and give way more exp. Best bet is to sell them on f2p.
  24. Count yourself lucky they're using your idea. Firstly people complain that they're not using player feedback, now that they do, people complain. They can't win really.
  25. As probably said in previous posts (haven't read them): experience is permanent money comes and goes. In my opinion money is there to be used on skills.
