  1. Karil - Because in the tunnel he's unstoppable, and I never take prayer pots so it's double annoying :(
  2. Oh thats funny, take a vid of it :D
  3. I agree, these ideas sort of take away the land of RS, and shouldn't be used. Read my above post, I took some of the more practical and fair ideas.
  4. Wow there are some VERY good ideas here, this is awesome. All of these would make visiting your house become a frequent thing. You'd make tons of house teleport tablets and go there very often as your stepping stone to other locations or a place to start events. -------- I also think the quest room should give small hints on quests depending on how filled the room is. This would hopefully stop people from using guides as much, and spark your interest in quests much more. I very much like the quest point display idea, for me that would be the most important part of the hall. Going over things I managed to copy some ideas I hadn't thought of, and really enjoy: Very good, this would be more skill relevant compared to rune display cases and castle war armor display. Oh wow, this is insane. The better your bed the more dreams you can have. WOW dude, I completly love this idea. Your on the right track. Cooking at home should be standard, but there needs some reason that you would wish to cook AT home. Good idea, work on it, could be sensational. This is quite possibly the best idea I think I've heard, seriously. This would bring down lag reduction in falador world 2, and stop all that running around for items. You could simply "unlock" your house(an idea about people using your house when your not home), post on the forums about things that your selling, and tell people the location of your house. People may then visit your house as soon as they find the post and buy the item, unless someone has already beaten them to it. ^ That idea is quite possibly the greatest of all, I can't explain how good it would be. Once the item is bought, players may then collect the cash off their butler, or retrieve it from a special room. Having your house unlocked would also spark you to actually make it more decorative for showing. So this auction of items would start a chain reaction that would ultimatly bring more people into your house. If nothing else goes ahead but this idea, I would be over the moon. I really think you should post on the main forums for this idea asap.
  5. Intro Player owned houses, in my opinion, looks quite dim. The skill itself requires money to level, and has only small rewards (Best prayer xp, teleport areas etc). It may be a place to show off your wealth, but in the end it's not that hot. There is no real benefit for being inside your house, or having people there. The games are somewhat lame, and non beneficial. In the end, it seems the cash you spend hardly seems worth it for such limited rewards. For these reasons, PoH is practically doomed, unless Jagex make some serious changes. In this post I'll state what needs to be done to spark interest and make your house seem more like a house, and various ways of acomplishing this. What Makes A House A House? 1. A place to put your things in 2. A place to sleep 3. A place to throw parties 4. A place to invite friends to 5. A place to live 6. A safe Area That's a typical house, and PoH at the moment doesn't really do these things. PoH's are treated more like just any other location to benefit from the limited things it offers such as prayer xp and teleport rooms. This needs to be fixed. What I want are ideas to make your house behave much more like a house. --------- We need things that are going to bring you to your house before logging out (resting bonus?) A reason to high alch in your house instead of some random location Farming in your garden? Gives you a reason to visit occasionally Etc etc. Anything that you can think of which would make you visit your house more, and visit other peoples aswell. Because currently, houses don't seem much like we expected them to be. So any ideas you can think of that makes a house more like a house, I'd love to hear it. Discuss your ideas to help save PoH.
  6. Thankyou very much man, nice words :) I've done a further 6 quests, and got some real nice footage since my last entry. Pking has kept me busy lately, but I've found some time to get on every now and then. I'll update with progress soon :D
  7. Well put post, I believe quests make Runescape. Those who complete quests just for items or exp, shouldn't be playing a fantasy rpg game :P I usually try it out first if I'm in the mood, and I feel really good if I complete it. However if I get stuck, I usually turn to a guide for the item list, and try to work things out there. If all else fails, I look up the part I'm stuck at, and continue on. I completed Recepie for disaster the first day it came out, I was so determined to do that all on my own. It was released 8:00pm Aussie time, and I played it right through till morning. It was the longest ever I've been in front of a comp screen, and I don't plan to do it again
  8. I remember you making a post earlier that I also agreed with, and here once again you've done the same thing. This is what I was aiming to say, however I said it more angrily because I'm sick of these kinds of posts. Log on if you want to play, don't make Runescape feel like a part of your life - such as brushing your teeth.
  9. Oh that would've been so funny to see
  10. Why do people feel they need to find reasons to keep playing this game? Some of you have severe addictions.
  11. I still find it amusing when these kinds of topics are posted, it seems you have made playing rs become a habit, this is your first major mistake. The addicts are ones who turn on their computer, open up rs page, log on, and realise they don't really want to do anything. These are the people who use the terms "quit" "break" "leaving and having drop party." And quite frankly, it shouldn't be that way. You don't wake up, turn on ur xbox, start up halo and realise you don't want to play. You wake up, realise you WANT to play it, and then begin playing. This should be exactly the same with Runescape, only open your browser if you feel like playing. That way, the game will actually become much more like a game. Hope that helps. Don't use the word "quit" It's stupid.
  12. Hehehe imagine if it were there to stay
  13. I'm usually the adventurous type myself, and am currently cursing myself for not finding this  Nice find, quite interesting if it relates to MM part 2.
  14. Ok, just had to post this. Autoer's can't open gates, and they can only target one type of monster at a time on their list or whatever it is. I closed the gate, can't wait for the reaction on this guys face when he comes back to see how his cheated account is going, lmao :shame: :shame: :shame:
  15. Diary Entry 2 Accomplished many achievements since my last diary entry, and instead of telling you about them, here's some updated pictures! Experience with Fire Giant I'm now brought to 71 qp, 668 total and 62 combat :o Big sucessful update, I'm actually getting somewhere :P
  16. The 6 month inactive thing got to lots of people :(
  17. Hehe that's my lil sis  Keep it up katie, and listen to that wise man Nadril :o
  18. Was meant to do a reserved post, but forgot, so this will do for now :$ Diary Entry 1 Getting some quick cash in rsc isn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. I took some quick trips to chaos druids, and was able to sell my unids for some fast rune armor. I then moved on to selling dragon bones that I got after trading lobsters to black dragon slayers. Questing is as fun as ever, it's like starting runescape all over again, I can't describe the feeling :D I didn't take pictures of all the quests I did, as I only recently decided to put together this blog, but here's 2 achivements for the morning :D Sheep Herder Completed - My god this was so much funner than rs2 sheep herder. Me fighting ze bouncer 25 Theiving! This unlocked some quests I can now do! Any suggestions on skills to do? I'm all ears!
  19. Elucin8er's Journey Through Time Intro What is Elucin8er? It's my rs character I created on a massive online role playing game. Therefore, he is like my creative, fantasy, heroic other half. His adventures began back in rsc, after he was reborn a year after his abondonment as a pure. He became what others call a main, and continued to grow rapidy. He went on quickly to become bigger, better and greater. He has achieved 70 + all stats 3 times, trying to keep up with each skill introduction. He plans to max out soon, and attempt to push his 1800 + total to 2000, and his 70 + all stats to a remarkable 80 + all stats. However not long ago, Elucin8er felt a hole inside himself, some uncompleted task that he knew he couldn't turn his back on. We are speaking of course, of Elucin8er's further other half - Runescape Classic Elucin8er. Runescape Classic Elucin8er stopped functioning a few years ago, never to become a member in the old RSC game. So many dreams, adventures, memories, never to be had. But now, after many years, RSC Elucin8er has been switched on again, and all those dreams now have a chance to become real. He is reborn! ---------------------- Misson Ok enough crap, let's begin. I plan to make RSC Elucin8er into a fully accomplished RSC player. Meaning, he needs to finish legends. Ok sure, it sounds easy enough, but it's NOT! Legends on RSC requires ALL oldschool quests to be finished, and some rather high stats. I was never a member on Elucin8er back in RSC, so it makes it even harder. I also have nothing to start myself off with, but killing a few chaos druids should help me out there. It's going to be a lonely journey  -------------------------------- Achievements -------------------------------- Stats Stat / Starting / Current / Goal Herblore 1 / 13 / 45 Theiving 1 / 25 / 50 Agility 1 / 13 / 50 Crafting 37 / 37 / 50 Smithing 45 / 45 / 50 Strength 56 / 56 / 50 ++COMPLETED++ Woodcutting 21 / 24 / 50 Prayer 35 / 37 / 42 Mining 57 / 57 / 52 ++COMPLETED++ -------------------------------- Other Quest Points - 32 / 71 / 107 Combat - 61 / 62 / 90 Total Level - ??? / 668 / 1100 -------------------------------- Final Words Be sure to check the page out, as I'll soon have pictures to update, and I'll slowly put together a movie of both Elucin8er's  Wish me luck :D
  20. Ah memories! I've actually gone back to classic with a goal to complete legends. I never was a member on Elucin8er back in classic, so I have a HUGE ordeal of work ahead of me. Check me out in blogspace shortly when I start posting my plans :D
  21. This should not be related to a stable pking triangle while pking. Rangers will not hit that on rune armor, and a dds will do more damage to a mage than a msb, even though mages are supposed to be weaker to range attacks. Range is still going to be underpowered, while maging with ancients is still going to be overpowered.
  22. Perhaps it's easier then it looks, with all the mean flames. However from me, I gotta say real nice work, I love it  Looks outstanding to me :P
  23. Knights will win, my team since 1998 :D I don't care much for AFL. It's more widespread, but it's so sissy
