  1. ^If you don't want to deal much with abilities you could try revolution (and search on the runescape wikia what abilities to put on there are good)
  2. Kind of funny that they announced an increase in membership cost (only if you stop being member for more than 14 days) today, fits nicely with the topic.
  3. Since your dungeoneering seems quite low in comparison with your other skills I would suggest doing that

^java is something else than javascript.
  5. I think everyone will see it is a parody after seeing the twitter one ;)
  6. I thought there were no advantages to legacy? Am I wrong?
  7. sshh they might actually use that ;)
  8. ^They answered it at runefest. "No" was the whole answer. Sadly for you f2pers they are not even interested in looking at it.
  9. If I remember correctly from my time as a crewbie the website will automatically add the high alch when you add a low alch price.
  10. Also if you are on a mac making a screenshot goes like this: Command + Shift + 4 (allows you to select what part you want to screenshot) If you press space after that you can screenshot the window you are currently hovering above. Command + Shift + 3 (screenshots your whole screen) The screenshot will be on your desktop :) (something that windows screenshot should do to imo) after that you need to follow the other guidelines arceus gave.
  11. ^Doesn't mean that every trail is better. That is like getting a bad drop from a monster which has its rewards upped. There would be no fun in clue scrolls if the rewards weren't random.
  12. Also why do they keep repeating that the players didn't want to directly face an elder god, but wanted to discover only a little bit. They say it so often that it almost looks like they think it is not obvious. We want mystery, like how it worked with the zaros quests, and with the elven quests.
  13. ^Runescape always had those problems. If you read a thread from 5 years ago you will see the same arguments. Except that they didn't rely on micro-transactions, they always had a problem attracting new players.
  14. ^People have been saying that RS will die some day for over 10 years now already. While it is logical that all things will die in the end, it doesn't mean that it will die before the company itself does. Also while RS can die, it is also probable that it will blossom more. On the topic itself, this will be a game that I won't even try. As I don't like FPS at all (as I am a pacifist I just don't see the fun of shooting others, I find it boring).
  15. They changed it with the update. As a member I am not frequently using the report button (except for vulgar text), so I don't really mind it. But it seems less usefull to f2p players imo, as they have more bots.
  16. In some examples, yes, if someone has to much knowledge they are not able to teach the students the information in the correct way. The students wouldn't understand what the teacher is saying. Of course the teacher should have more information than the students. But I don't think the analogy really fits the problem. Also we were promised a better power to the player, in the way that we can vote for ideas of other players. I assume that some of the issues will be fixed by that.
  17. I do realize there would be issues to overcome to make something like that work but there would also be clear and distinct difference between a normal democratic government and this sort of arrangement- they wouldn't have any actual power, they wouldn't be getting any direct benefits (except for, say, a chat badge) for doing it and you'd also be able to just blame them for everything. Of course the point that will train wreck it is you cannot even remotely hope to represent a playerbase on thousands upon thousands with different play styles, cultures and priorities with only a handful of people. Plus of course the 'elected' and 'choosen' would inevitably be the youtuber/famous players that are really really unrepresentative of the community as a whole. The elected and chosen was meant to say that some would definitely be popular players chosen my the masses (likely top pagers/streamers), but there would be a nice balance to them being chosen to represent every sub-community (for example, tif) aswell. It's also naive to think you need to be low leveled to represent low leveled players, neither do you need to be homeless to represent those that are... And in my opinion your idea is naive. I think there are to many pitfalls for it to work, and the chances that it will backfire are just to big. Although it doesn't really matter if we think it will work, what matters is if jagex will ever implement such thing as you described, which I doubt :P
  18. There seems to be a problem with adrenaline, if it starts draining the window closes. This is something I heard though, not experienced myself.
  19. ^or simply high level players, which are not representive of the community as well. And it is impossible to keep a team of low level players, as they become medium leveled players quickly, which become high level players a while after that. Meaning you would need a constant change in team members. Not to account for the amount of people wanting to be in the team, creating lots of spam and frustration of other users.
  20. It's called a win-win. Too bad it's a lose-lose from our perspective. I really do feel as though instead of having only public voting, runescape should have some sort of a player-'government' consisting of elected and chosen members (about 30-50 of them) to advise jagex on the balancing and general direction of content. But meh... ^that sounds nice in theory, but in practice it can become really nasty, just look at politics arounds the world.
  21. ^That is not really uncommon for an aviansie bot :P
  22. Thanks :) A lot of things still use the old eoc combat levels, not only on tip.it but also in runescape itself... It is saver for me to check for combat reqs for quests on runewiki than in the game itself -.-
  23. Lets just hope nearly all of them are bots :3
  24. ^I thought so too. But why would there be more people going inactive then active?
