  1. imo the only thing that needs to changed is that they should look into all appeals and that you are able to appeal any offense.
  2. ^You mean skilling in the wilderness? I don't see the point, because no-one takes anything of value with them if that is the case :P
  3. I agree, but I am afraid they will just bring new stuff into skills that were supposed to go into inventor and not rework the skills at the same time. I am currently wondering if it wouldn't be better if they coded the whole game (maybe pieces at a time) from scrap just so they can update things more easily, but I think the time needed for that is just to much.
  4. It's because of how construction is fundamentally coded being really really bad. It's not like there is 1 wall texture and 1 oak larder, for example and the system can't handle that. Each tile of wall is its own object and the oak larder in each rotation within each theme is its own object. Then its not even a copy and paste job because each of these items is shaded for basic lighting based on the theme and rotation as poh don't have dynamic lighting. So the graphically rework con its not as simple as the relatively small number of things we see there is an insane number of variants so it would take insane amounts of time to re-graphic them all. Time which would be better spent by devs rebuilding construction from the ground up whilst graphics do the smaller job of designing 1 copy of each thing that can be used as textures and deal with dynamic lighting. Ah, I can understand that, but they never said anything about recoding it (and so I doubt they will ever do that as well).
  5. ^indeed, also I don't get why they say a graphical rework of construction would take a whole year of the graphics team without them being able to do other projects, I cannot imagine it being more work than something like the new elf city?
  6. Also they seemed to have confirmed an update for next month in the Q&A, an update to the rare drop table...
  7. Most likely because he wants to party but not right now?
  8. I would agree with you if the present clicking wasn't a grind and if we can store our snowboards at diango :P I am not to fond of these holiday events anymore, they could have made the snowboarding so more awesome, without spending extra time in it.
  9. Well I remember times in which I would see bots everywhere, I haven't seen a bot in a while (but I am not to high leveled yet). And I play in fairly busy p2p worlds (most of the time 1000-1200 players). Also they seem to have banned lots of bots a month ago, because I would go up a few K in ranks for skills I got no XP in every day.
  10. just empty it beforehand then :) Do you realise how many items that are? Uh, no I didn't :3 but hey it is better than losing them, if they fit in the bank of course...
  11. just empty it beforehand then :)
  12. Jdelacroix just got 5.2bil
  13. ^I think it is pretty clear that botting will give you a perma-ban, so they are warned enough. Also that means that they would have to implement a system that tracks the time you use the bot and then gives you a ban according to that time, which is much less efficient than simply ban when a bot is found. I would agree with you if botting wasn't such a big issue, but sadly it is.
  14. I really wonder this as well. It ought to be a streamer, some high-ranked player or someone who is at least a little well known. Also, how can Jagex have bot systems who even have the potential to trap innocent but effective players in the net? That is just terrible design. And I say that as a developer myself. A system without false positives, especially as difficult as botwatch would be nearly impossible. Of course this shouldn't have happened, but we don't know the numbers. We don't know how many bots they banned. If there are only 2-3 false positives within 1.000.000 bans than I think it is a good system.
  15. Now I am wondering who that individual was that got banned by playing so efficient. Also I think lots (if not nearly all) of the complainers are actually persons who botted once or twice.
  16. Also one of the oldest quest lines against a skill that already has lots of fun content.
  17. Sorry for making you feel that way, as I am no mod I had no intention for it to sound like that (not saying that mods do have that intention), I just wanted it to be a friendly reminder :)
  18. It has an archaic training method to basically destroy and make 1000s of the same thing w/o actually contributing a single thing. It also basically offers very very few things that are useful. Only things that are useful is the Gilded Altar and storage room. Also being able to move rooms would be nice
  19. lol :P Just so you know, it only has a high alch value of 30k ;) it just is so expensive as it is a new treasure trail reward :) I remember the previous time when new rewards where released and I got something of a few M as well :)
  20. Also the 5,220,503 is not only the suitcase, the essence and two fire talismans are worth something as well on GE ;)
  21. ^It is the GE value of the item. Also it showed up fine for me as well. Might be your provider :P I don't mind you reuploading it, although sadly imgur makes it a .jpg (which gives it a white background) ;)
  22. ^also those will be the only quests for 2015
  23. as ironman :3 (it is a suitcase from an easy clue)
  24. As long as the CEO can bring back life to RS, and somehow gets more stuff done (especially reworks) without making more micro-transactions I don't care if he has experience in playing runescape :P
