Elder Gods. Only a handfull of people know of their existence, so it would make sense to not believe in a divine being as a runescape NPC.

Some NPC's in runescape are aware (making jokes) that we are playing the character. Not to many though :P

There are a handful of people who use the official world to 'leech', literally a handful. The vast majority don't, for the simple reason that W24 (the official server) is way too unpredictable, and you are likely to end up on the losing team and get nothing, it's far more efficient to join a tie game FC where you are guaranteed tickets. Also W24 games are rigged by people going for Hybrid Armour. It is literally impossible that a handful of people who afk/leech in world 24 are the cause of Castle Wars' decline in popularity. Most people ignore those AFK'ers, or kill them. Also, there have always been people who just stood in Castle Wars and just did nothing. Leechers are not a recent development. Castle Wars always had such people. So yes, it's literally impossible. The problem is that not everyone knows about those FC's, or they simply do not care about it. When I played castle wars years ago you would maybe have one or two people doing nothing. Then after the comp cape came out you would sometimes have more than 20-30 people leeching on each side, I am not sure how it is now, but to say that it didn't do any harm is a bit strange imo.

Depends why you want to change it. I for one, am not even close to reaching it. I don't want to change it to make it more easy, heck I would do the CW rew without complaining. But I think that things should be fixed if broken, they acknowledge that the req is broken. Also it devalues the CW minigame for everyone that is not going for trimmed comp cape. If you only want to change it because you can get it easier, then yes it is selfish, but the same counts for current comp cape holders that only don't want change because it devalues their previous accomplishment.

True, also nay-sayers are also more likely to post. Does not mean that it is the case this time though. This is also why if you only look at the RSOF every update seems like a mess, because all the complainers post, but not the persons who like the update (why would they?). To have a fair poll and one that you get more information from you would need to poll something like this: Ask current trimmed cape holders if they want the keep the reqs, want them changed or (also important) if it doesn't matter to them. Ask the same to current comp cape holders. Ask the same to all other users. Best way to do that would be an in game poll, but I don't think it can only ask (trimmed) comp cape holders to vote...

Greenhouse actually came third :s. Ah well the resource dungeon was a logic as well. I voted for aquarium but I would be happy as long as the treasure vault didn't win... as I don't really see the need for it, there are plenty of other ways to show off how rich you are :P.

The only reason I even train it is for prerequisites (quests requirements, unlocking equipment, etc.) Otherwise, yea, there's not much point.It helps a bit for thieving and fishing though :p

Most people who have already completed the requirements are certainly not in favour of getting rid of them. You and like-minded people are the minority. That's just the reality. They could do that, only to have hundreds of people who are already trimmed rage, rightly, at them. Imo that is selfish of them, I understand it completely, and that is why I think that those people should get an other reward based on the things they had to grind for, but it shouldn't mean that broken things cannot be fixed because of selfishness

^You cannot be sure that they wouldn't have added that req if he didn't have those 5k points. I agree that it looks like they did it because of him, but the mods could also have thought that they wanted everything in it that requires completion.

^I personally don't think they put it in specially for him, they just saw what Castle Wars already had achieved and made a comment about that. I doubt they only put the 5000 tickets in there for Castle Wars.

Well tbh I don't see much need in updating most of those 15 popular ones (not sure about the ones I don't know about, because of me leaving a few years though). So I guess that they thought the same but had to have some better reason of why not to look into them. Better in the way that people cannot complain :P

Wait a minute, these shops sell the items for higher price than the high alchemy value, so how exactly is that profitable? They are used for summoning, so sell them on the GE

imo there are just to many D&D's/minigames... and they keep releasing new ones. There will always be D&D's/minigames which will be dead, as we cannot do all of them...

Your inlogname and character name don't have to be the same. You can also assign one email account to multiple characters (because you can change it after you made it), however the inlogname doesn't change, so whatever e-mail (or before that first character name) you made the character with you have to login with.

Initially I thought it was a good requirement, because it is part of "completing the game" but then after seeing what effects it had on CW (and because it becomes a half year grind or so) I don't think it is a good requirement anymore

I did, on my ironman account. However, no-one uses the gem shops, as they are always empty... I wonder why those empty shops are still around, why would anyone sell at a specific shop while if you want to sell it to a shop a normal general store would give you the same?
